A Quarrel
In fact I was surprised too of myself. I didn't think I would consider turning into a vampire. Up till meeting him, I thought vampires were mere fictions, nothing more.
However, the power I felt when he touched me made me jealous. I wanted to be strong, to be like him.
"Y'know if you drank my blood, you won't become a vampire," he suddenly said in his soft tone, "but you'll be my pride."
"What?!!" I was so shocked to the degree of pushing him away. I didn't mean it but what he said made me startled.
"I know, right?" he even laughed at this awkward moment, "but don't worry. I'm not after you. I'm just trying to save you from such a fate."
The more he talked the more annoyed I became. "What do you even mean by that? Huh? Am I not beautiful enough to become a vampire pride?" I couldn't help but raise my voice and that made his face change.
