Here John was the speed of this vehicle was on the edge of creating all out sonic booms.

Cockiness and obvious traces of oride could be seen all across his face.

It was never about the race, it was about the feeling of relief and adrenaline that came at the near death races and competitive games that the couple always seemed to partake in.

"Adrenaline… this could be a good formula for project E.F.x… how do i integrate this", he said out loud . If this was the 21st century and he was still in high school he probably would have been ridiculed and mocked for being so geeky.

'The true essence of knowledge was having it and the urge to pursue a particular field even in the most random of situations" John would always tell himself this it was an undisputed fact that he was a connoisseur of knowledge.

Just look at this situation, one wrong turn, drift, or even mistaken brake could take his life but obviously this was not a problem for the enthusiastic wealthy guru by the name John Dome.

"Radio lock on my speed and my routed location i need time to calculate"

Radio did not respond due to the rules of the race but the command did not go unfollowed the gear of the car shifted to one in which Radio could easily maneuver as she saw fit.

At this time John went into deed thought he had been on the road for about ten minutes, eight of which was spent shopping in the Rosenthal shopping district… make that eleven minutes on the road.

Time was movie fast Lily had probably almost reached the Done airport.

"Seven miles"

"Impeccable calculations Mr John Dome" Radio's voice came out quitely all John could do was smile

"That's my wife after all. Nothing short of a glorious spectacle, can't afford to lag behind"

*Alarm*

"Danger…"

"What is it this time Radio?"

John caught Radio of before she could complete her sentence.

"Construction ahead. Blocked road… What do you suggest we do Mr John Dome? Turn around?"

"No! Never!"

"Radio find me a ramp… We are going to fly over the Arthur bridge. Piece of cake"

Radio chuckled then responded

"I wouldn't recommend this is very dangerous"

"This ain't my first rodeo woman", John said with so much excitement.

"Radio… maximum tire pressure for recoi, speed to increase aerodynamics, and any other safety precautions that will be needed.

Twenty seconds later the car turn around in a forty-five degree motion spinning recklessly towards the obviously placed ramp.

John look below to take in all the adrenaline pumping into him only to notice a certain recognizable blue ferrari dominated the traffic of the ground across the other side of the Arthur bridge which made John more excited .

'Vrrooommmm'

The car accelerated, and as the tire slid up the ramp and into the air the joy fill the air as John, Radio, and the civilians below screamed in excitement.

'Vrrrrrrr'

The sound of the car accelerating to full speed thundered over the Arthur bridge to a carefully planned destination.

This was were the race truly begun.

Lily driving her super fast car ready to rub it to her husbands face when she won the race only to look up and see one of her cars from the pink series high up in the air gliding dramatically and majestically over the Arthur bride.

"Ohh Jonnie, what have you done this time"

The pink car in the sky deployed a small pink parachute, the tires popping out like an over pressurized life save.

She picked up her phone and went on an app call "R.A.D.I.O command" that her husband had installed on her phone on his birthday a few year back.

This phone gave her access to the Radio artificial intelligence and all its capabilities remotely.

"Hey Radio, what's Jonnie attempting to accomplish" Lily asked genuinely.

"Ohhh just a minor shortcut"

She then turned off her phone to concentrate on the road ahead.

After the statement that Radio said Lily was too stunned to say anything for a good 20 seconds.

"Very well played John Dome, but you're gonna need more of these 'shortcuts' to catch up to me"

She instinctively stepped on the gas and kept going.

"Good luck Jonnie"

"Wooo!!! That's the feeling"

There was once a saying that in times of great emergency or life destroying situations people could unleash their true potential and do what need to be done.

"Adrenaline"

John said in excitement.

The key to E.F.x was adrenaline, a lot of it…

The pink car was about to land, the car had reached the point that it had gone over the bridge.

Every single part of the car that was useful i. this life defying situation was on maximum efficiency: The tires were ready for landing, maximum speed for aerodynamics and aero diversion, and backup air bags were all ready, all that was left was a safe landing.

About three seconds later John's car hit the ground with a loud thud that made even the bridge behind shake like there was an earthquake.

The car tires quickly released pressure and everything went back to normal.

John casually driving like nothing happened.

This was it.

The real race was about to begin.

"John Dome are you crazy?" Lily asked furiously.

In all her married life with John they had never done anything so life taking before.

So it was naturally a shock to her?

In all honesty this was only to get his wife hyped and not moody and depressed he knew what he was doing.

"Are you scared i'm going to win."

"You wish Jonnie"

They drove down the lane till they got to the traffic light and fortunately for the dramatic family it was on red.

John put down the hood of the modded car, not long after that Lily followed suit. Their blond hair were flying and being ruffled in the wind as both were anticipating the green light ready to dash off.

"I'm ready to win Lily"

"No you're…"

Before she could say anything the light turned green and John sped off

"Hey that's cheating!!!"
