She was feeling a sense of security that she had never felt before

The person from the other side of the door seemed to have heard her as the loud thud stopped for a while, followed by an even louder thud. The next second, the washroom door was forcefully pushed open.

Cathy was ecstatic. Finally, someone came to her rescue! She did not have to spend the night in the washroom after all.

"Thank you..."

Before she managed to finish her sentence, Cathy realised a man with a tall figure standing right in front of her.

"Marvin."

Never had it crossed Cathy's mind that Marvin would be the one to save her. She thought that it was one of the security guards patrolling the area.

Marvin was breathing hard. Probably because he had rushed over to her. He looked over at Cathy, her usual healthy rosy complexion had become abnormally pale. Probably because it was cold, causing her tiny little body to tremble.

He squinted his eyes slightly and casually took off his suit jacket. He then walked over to put it on her shoulder.

Cathy instantly felt warm when she wore his suit jacket. His body warmth still lingered on the jacket touching her cold skin. Then suddenly she felt a strong arms embraced her.She was stunned and felt very surprised for a moment.

After she was able to recover from her astonishment, Cathy said "thank you."

Marvin remained silent and gently caressed Cathy's head. Only then did Marvin gradually calm down when Cathy was in his arms

Marvin pleasing masculine scent was surrounding Cathy. She was feeling a sense of security that she had never felt before. At the moment Cathy was very grateful to Marvin.

"Can you still Walk?"

"Yes!" Cathy quickly nodded. She blushed a little as she stepped out of his embrace. Then, she awkwardly stroked her hair. Marvin also let go of Cathy as well. Then, he said calmly, "Let's get back home."

Cathy nodded as they are walking out from the washroom, Cathy noticed that the surrounding environment was quiet. Not a single person was in sight.

However, there were still some security guards on duty at the lobby. Marvin and Cathy took the elevator and when they were about to reach the first floor. Marvin held Cathy in his arms.

At the moment, the security guard in the lobby heard the elevator ding and walked over. Cathy immediately felt nervous and little flustered too. Cathy slightly pushed Marvin, To let her go.

However, Marvin stared at Cathy without any intention of letting her go. She didn't want to be seen by the security guard in Marvin's arm. Although she was married to Marvin, most of the employees were not aware about it, but Marvin seemed he didn't care at all.

As soon as the car stopped, Assistant Lim opened the back door swiftly and took a step back courteously.

Marvin walked towards the villa with Cathy in his arms. He stared at her intently in his arms.
