The Perfect Dress

Me and zhi xiang sit at the table and watch hanxing help my mother in the kitchen. It was adorable. Soon they finished cooking and set everything on the table. Hanxing sat next to my mother and looked over to me and zhi xiang. "Grandma says I'm better at cooking than you."

I laughed and put food in his bowl, "okay hanxing, now eat."

After eating, hanxing quickly heads to his bedroom to get ready. Me and Zhi Xiang decided to talk to my mother before getting ready.

"Mom, the company is in trouble and we've been thinking about combining the companies."

"Combine? So, you two are signing an agreement then." My mother asks.

"We are still coming to a conclusion on what to do but let's go get ready."

"Yes, we'll talk about this tomorrow."

An hour later, we're all at the mall and eyes seem to be on us. Zhi xiang pulls me close and whispers in my ear, "be careful. Some people might judge you for the case." I whisper back, "I'll be fine."

"Well, me and hanxing will go look for some stuff. You two go and have fun."

Mother walks off with hanxing while hanxing waves.

"Where did you want to go?" I ask Zhi xiang.

"Anywhere is fine."

We continued to walk, hand in hand, until finally we saw a new clothing store opened. It was fancy and had a big chandler in the middle of the store.

One of the workers came and greeted us, "Welcome to Lucky's Bridal Shop, did you need help with anything?"

Me and zhi xiang look at each other and smile, "we'll just be looking around thank you." He says to the worker.

"Alright, well let me know if you need anything. I will be behind that counter."

After she walks away, we head straight to the bridal dresses. They were all beautiful but only one dress caught my attention. Glass surrounded the dress, I guess this is a new arrival, I then called for assistance. "May i try on this dress."

She walks to me and smiles, "of course! This is the newest arrival! You would look amazing in this!" She then takes out the dress and leads me to the dressing room. I take off my clothing and put on the dress. I looked at the mirror and it was just..beautiful! It was like a ball gown and the color was a pure white. I step out of the dressing room and wait for Zhi Xiang to notice. When he does, the expression on his face was as if he was a little kid who walked into a chocolate factory. He brightly smiles and walks slowly up to me. "You..look so gorgeous in that dress." He says.

I wrap my arms around him and kiss him on his cheek, "Thank you." The assistant then comes back and notices me.

"Ma'am you look absolutely amazing! This dress is perfect for you. Should we find the groom something also?" We looked at each other and even though his eyes told me no, I told the assistant yes and chuckled. "Alright then, I'll be back with a suit to go along with this dress."

Zhi xiang pulls me by the arm and smiles, "there's no need for me to get into a suit. I have so many at home."

"It wouldn't be fun then, just think as if we're playing dress up."

The lady then comes back with a black and gray suit in hand. "These two would match with the dress," she hands them to Zhi xiang. "The dressing room is just right over there. Go ahead and change." He nods and walks away with the suits. As we patiently wait the lady then starts to ask me questions. "Ma'am, I couldn't help but to notice..that man is Mr.Lee, the president and CEO of the biggest company!"

"Yes he is." I reply.

"Then you must be Ms.Lin?"

"Yes, I am."

"Wow. Well, I'd be honored to pack the dress up for you and when Mr.Lee comes out with the suit I could pack that as well."

I thought about it for a bit, we never really talked about a wedding..but maybe for photos these outfits would do nice. "Sure. I'll go get changed so you can pack it up."

She smiled and was excited, "alright! I'll go get bags ready for you two!"
