One of them said " So Weird ".

Another one said " Yeah, this is the first time he left a meeting in the halfway ".

One of them said " Okay. It was already postponed. We can't do anything. Let's go ".

Everyone left the meeting room.

Thirty minutes later ;

" I'm here " Wang Lei called Niha Bharadwaj and said.

" Aww, you came so fast "Niha Bharadwaj replied.

" There was a little traffic " Wang Lei smiled and said.

" Ohh, Okay, I'm coming " Niha Bharadwaj said.

Five minutes later Niha Bharadwaj came to the entrance. Wang Lei opened the door of front passenger seat and said " Get in ".

Niha Bharadwaj said " Thank you ". And she got in the car. Wang Lei smiled and closed the door.

Later he started the car and asked " Where do you want to go ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj thought for a while and said " Hmm , take me to the best cafe in this city ".

Wang Lei said " Okay ".

He drove his car to a high end cafe in ' S City '.

He parked his car and they went into the cafe.

There were only a few members in the cafe. Niha Bharadwaj again chose the window sitting. They sat on their chairs. A Waiter came to them and asked them for order.

Wang Lei and Niha Bharadwaj said simultaneously " Cappuccino ".

Wang Lei and Niha Bharadwaj looked at each other with surprise and smiled.

The Waiter looked at them. He smiled and asked in 'Chinese' " Okay sir, Do you want anything else ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj looked at Wang Lei and asked in a low voice " Hey, Ryan What is he saying? ".

Wang Lei smiled and said " He is asking whether you want anything else or not ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj said " Ohh, Okay ".

Later she said " Ryan, I want to taste Chinese desserts ".

Wang Lei said " Okay, you can order whatever you want ".

Niha Bharadwaj pressed her lips and said " But, I need your help ".

Wang Lei smiled and replied " Sure ".

Niha Bharadwaj smiled and said " Order the best and most populous Chinese desserts for both of us ".

Wang Lei said " Mmm, Okay ".

He looked at the Waiter and ordered " Two red bean buns, Egg tarts, Tanghulu and two black forest pastries ".

The Waiter took the order and went inside.

Niha Bharadwaj exclaimed with joy " Wow, Black forest. Ryan, you know that's my favourite ".

Wang Lei asked " Really ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj bobbed her head like a kid.

Later she stared at him and Shouted " Ohh my god ".

Wang Lei asked " What happened ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj pointed her index finger towards him and said " You, You forgot something ".

Wang Lei widened his eyes in confusion and asked " Me ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj chuckled and asked " Yeah, where is your face mask ? ".

Wang Lei laughed and he replied " I forgot ".

Niha Bharadwaj asked " Why ? ".

Wang Lei replied " It's in the car ".

Niha Bharadwaj asked " Ohh, should I go and bring it ? ".

Wang Lei replied " No need ".

Niha Bharadwaj said " Hmm, Okay then ".

Wang Lei smiled and asked " By the way, Why do you always choose window sitting ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj smiled and said " Because, I can see what's happening outside ".

Wang Lei asked " What's the need ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " I can see who are coming into this cafe ".

Wang Lei stared at her in confusion.

Niha Bharadwaj said " Hmm, For instance, Look at you. You forgot to wear your mask today. Right ? ".

Wang Lei nodded his head.

Niha Bharadwaj continued " Unfortunately, if your mom or dad or someone you know comes here, You can see them before they see you ".

Then she pointed her index finger to the outside and said " Look at there. So, you can easily..... ".

She suddenly stopped talking and gaped her eyes.

She shouted with surprise " My Bad, Why is she here ? ".

Wang Lei asked " Who ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj covered her face and hastily hide under the table.

Wang Lei chuckled because of her childish act and asked " Hey, what are you doing ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied in a husky voice " Look outside. There is a girl standing infront of us ".

Wang Lei looked outside. ' Rose Jiang ' was standing outside and waiting for someone.

Wang Lei turned to Niha Bharadwaj and asked " Yeah, Do you know her ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " Yeah, Her name is 'Rose Jiang' my college mate. What is she doing here ? ".

( Rose Jiang - The ' second girl ' I mentioned in Chapter 4 [ Convocation hall ] ).

Wang Lei asked " So What ? Come out first ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " No, I don't ".

Wang Lei laughed and said " Aren't you afraid of losing your face ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " No, I'm not. Besides No one is watching me ".

Wang Lei looked outside and said " She has left. Now come out ".

Niha Bharadwaj asked " Are you sure ? ".

Wang Lei nodded his head and replied " Uff, come out by yourself or else I'll pull you out "

Niha Bharadwaj replied " No, no I'm coming. Wait ".

Then she came out and sat in her chair.

Wang Lei looked at her and laughed.

Niha Bharadwaj asked " Why are you laughing ? ".

Wang Lei replied " Your hair was messy ".

While Niha Bharadwaj was fixing her hair Wang Lei said " Wait ".

Niha Bharadwaj stopped her action. Wang Lei bent forward. Niha Bharadwaj heart started pounding. Wang Lei stretched out his hand and fixed up her hair.

After that he said " It's looking good now ".

Niha Bharadwaj stroked her hair and lowered her head to control her heart beat.

She pressed her lips and said " Thank you ".

Wang Lei Chuckled at her behaviour. The Waiter brought their desserts.

While eating Wang Lei asked " Why did you hide under the table ? What are you afraid of ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " Hmm, It would be a big problem if she watch me here ? ".

Wang Lei asked " Why ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied in a low voice " Hmm, I don't know the reason. When I was studying in Newyork, she was always looking for an opportunity to trouble me ".

Wang Lei clasped his hands under the table with anger. Later he controlled his anger and said " Don't worry , you have me ".

Niha Bharadwaj gaped at Wang Lei in surprise.

Wang Lei continued " Next time if you see her, Don't try to hide under tables or anything else. Go and face her ".

Niha Bharadwaj slightly nodded her.

She said " Okay, I'll try ".

Wang Lei said " Don't try, just Do it. Niha don't be like a craven. Be brave and face the society. okay ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " Okay, I will. From now on , I Niha Bharadwaj will not fear for anyone ".

Wang Lei smiled and said " Good, let's enjoy our desserts ".

Niha Bharadwaj smiled and said " Yup, I don't

want to ruin this happiest moment ".

Later she said " Huh, I'm very happy today. Now, I can pay back my friend's money ".

Wang Lei asked " Whose money ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " He is a Cop. He helped me a lot when I came here ".

Wang Lei said " Ohh, okay ". He knew that she is talking about Delun Chen.

Later he asked " How's the dessert ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " Delicious ".

They finished the dessert, Niha Bharadwaj asked the Waiter to bring the cheque. While she was paying the cheque Wang Lei stopped Niha Bharadwaj and said " I'll pay ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " But, it's my treat. I'll pay ".

Wang Lei said " No, My mom told me not to spend girls money ".

But Niha Bharadwaj insisted on paying the bill. Finally Wang Lei gave up and Niha Bharadwaj paid the bill.

After got in the car, Wang Lei asked " What next ? ".

Niha Bharadwaj replied " Don't know ".

Wang Lei said " Okay, let's go to shopping and buy some more clothes ".

Niha Bharadwaj widened her eyes and shouted " Again ? ".

Wang Lei asked " Yeah, you are going to office from tomorrow. So Let's buy some clothes ".

Niha Bharadwaj said " No, no, no. I have enough clothes ".

But Wang Lei didn't listen to her. He stopped his car at a branded shop and bought a few more dresses for her. Later they went to their homes.

After finishing the dinner in Niha's flat, Wang Lei went to his room and opened his laptop.

While he was reading his mails, suddenly his mobile rang. It was a call from Kai Heng. He answered the call after a few rings.

Kai Heng shouted on the phone " Young Master, A big news ".

Wang Lei asked " What was that ? ".

Kai Heng replied " Young Master, ' You Hit The Headlines ' ".
