Daylight had broken, Wang Yu Yan still unable to get a wink of sleep," Your Highness, are you sure you have never seen this man before", her maidservant questioned her, her eyebrows furrowing as she stared at the open scroll on the wooden table.

"I've already told you, I've seen this man only in my dreams", She made the last stroke and then placed the paintbrush right beside the ink, "Don't tell me you believe I'm out of my mind too, Ru Shi?" she proceeded as she lifted the scroll, further scrutinizing the image she had just drawn.

Mo Ru Shi neatly put down the round stone right beside the stone bowl with some ground ink remaining, "That's not what I mean 2nd princess, it's just the other day I heard the towns wise elders say: people we see in our dreams can only reflect the people we have met before", Wang Yu Yan stood up from her lotus sitting position on the floor as her eyes where still plastered on the scroll she held up in front of her.

A big smile lit up her face before she turned to look at her maidservant kneeling next to the table, "How wise are these elders, if they spew out such nonsense? Where might I have seen this man? I've never left this palace, and besides aren't you always by my side?" Wang Yu Yan tilted her head as she awaited her response.

"What you say makes sense, how foolish of me",

Ru Shi hit the front of her own forehead as if that would knock back some sense into her brain,

"Enough with that will you, we've got something more exciting to chat about", Wang Yu Yan was in her own world again as she gleefully waltzed to her favorite window right across her chamber.

Mo Ru Shi had already gotten up following her master to stand just a few feet from her, "And what may that be?", she was genuinely curious at what had gotten her highness so excited, "What do you mean? Haven't you heard that a carriage is being prepared for us to venture out of the palace soon?", Wang Yu Yan uncontrollably shook Mo Ru Shi by the shoulders, "But Your Majesty…".

"What Now Ru Shi? You know how long I've been waiting for this. Finally, I have a chance to see the town with my own eyes. No more hearing stories about it but experiencing it for myself",

"Yes, Your Highness but…",

Before she could finish Wang Yu Yan continued, "… No More feeling trapped in this big palace but I will actually get to see the big world outside. How Exciting!",

"Yes, Princess but I must…",

"Do you think I will meet the man in my dreams? Oh, Ru Shi, do you think he could be out there?", Mo Ru Shi could barely follow the princess as she kept walking back and forth across the room.

"Princess you must know…" Mo Ru Shi tried to voice out but she was interrupted by the announcement outside the royal chamber, "1st Princess requests audience from the 2nd Princess!", A male voice shouted from the other side of the big door.

She nodded to the two female guards that stood by the door. When they saw her signal they both simultaneously opened the door, each pulling to opposite sides. Wang Yu Yan was already positioned in front of the desk in her study, just below the pair of stairs leading up to it.

"2nd princess", The maidservants that walked behind the 1st princess all bowed in greetings to Wang Yu Yan. As they all remained stationed by the door with the maidservants that stood by the door.

1st Princess stood directly in front of Wang Yu Yan just a few feet away from her. She stood as poised as usual. Wang Qing Shan always excelled in everything. Wang Yu Yan couldn't help but fall short in everything compared to her sister. Even her looks were a fraction of her sister's looks. Wang Yu Yan really admired her,

"I see, you are still daydreaming your days away", she began as her eyes momentarily glanced at the scroll Wang Yu Yan was holding rolled in her hands.

Wang Yu Yan was always clumsy and hiding the scroll in her robe proved to be inadequate, "Ahh this?", she immediately revealed it, "This is just a book about war and politics", she thought on her feet hoping her older sister wouldn't look down on her.

"Spare me the jokes little sister. I'm just here to urge you to be on your best behavior with your new husband Prince Li Guang. We wouldn't want him forging war against Guan Continent because of your lack of manners", a distasteful look sat on Wang Qing Shan's face as she took in the Clumsy nature of her disappointment of a sister.

"New Husband?", Wang Yu Yan looked at Wang Qing Shan in question, the princess's expression showed indifference and a hint of satisfaction. But the 2nd princess to too baffled to notice as she turned her gaze to her personal attendant.

She widened her eyes in guilt and she quickly bowed to her highness, her upper body was bent towards the floor at 90 degrees. She hoping she could evade the attention from herself by doing that," Mo Ru Shi!",

"Your highness!", she had no way out now. Raising herself she moved closer to the 2nd princess's sight. Keeping her head low in respect.

"Why is it the first time I hear that I have a new husband?", Yu Yan gave her long-time best friend a look of betrayal. How can she not warn her of something so detrimental? When was she to know that she was getting married soon? It was her life they were talking about.

"Your highness, I tried to tell you multiple times, but…",

She was interrupted by her superior's distressed tone, "That's impossible. No, no… I have to talk to Her Majesty",

Wang Yu Yan stormed out leaving her older sister smirking in amusement. This should be entertaining. Wang Qing Shan muttered to herself.

Wang Yu Yan had already reached the main palace, Mo Ru Shi was right behind as she has always been by the 2nd princess's side. She asked for an audience from the Queen and was quickly instructed to enter.
