Chapter 6: The Mist

An hour past, Leena's Injuries smoothly healed along with a full stomach.

The surrounding trees began to blow gently in the wind, the rustle of leaves soothed everyone's ears before they thought of a plan to tackle what belonged in the woods.

"Ara, you best let me and Isabella take the front with the dangers in here!" Leena put his hand on Ara's shoulder as he spoke calmly.

"Could you at least let me handle the creatures that are my level instead of taking all the glory for yourself?" Ara Joking patted Leena back and sniggered with joy as him and his friends set off for the adventure through the forest.

Ara, Isabella, and Leena set off from the border of the forest, a few minutes past by, they began to feel slightly uneasy, the trees creaked, the rustle of leaves began to fade.

The wind began to drop the further in the forest they got, "Ara, are you ok back there you seem rather quiet?" Leena spoke with concern.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just find this place weird, we've traveled quite deep into the forest now and yet we've not been met with anything dangerous, what's going on? Isn't this place normally packed with danger?" Questioned Ara.

All three of them got closer together as they walked deeper into the woods,

"Hey look! Over there a cave entrance do you think we could have a small break in there seen as though we have been walking for ages and my little legs can't take much more!" Excitedly asked Isabella.

"Yeah sure why not, after all, we need to be prepared for whatever comes running towards us so we need to keep well rested!" replied Leena.

"What I want to know is how come there has been no danger, not even a bird tweet, even the wind has no sound anymore, the leaves are also silent yet you can feel the wind and see the leaves…" Ara confusingly spoke.

What they didn't realize is in the distance there was a still mist that they grew closer too with every step.

10 minutes have passed, Ara, Isabella and Leena stood up and began to walk, " Leena, Isabella are the both of you feeling that?" Questioned Ara.

"Eh? Feeling what Ara?" Leena Questioned back "Yeah Ara what are you feeling?" Isabella asked Ara.

"I'm not sure I'm feeling uneasy and like someone is staring directly into my soul, like I have a string attached to it, my heart being pulled towards something" Ara began to slow down and stared out in front of everyone.

Ara saw the white mist and began to have a slight panic in his heart.

"Guy's have you realized the mist in front of us?" Ara grabbed hold of Leena and pointed in front of him "Oh, that's weird is there usually mist in this forest?" Leena questioned out loud.

"I'm not sure Leena but I think what we need is in that mist or at least on the other side of this mist" spoke Isabella as she grabbed Ara's hand without realizing she had done so.

Ara looked at Isabella as she grabbed his hand, "Isabella are you scared of the mist?" smirked Ara towards Isabella.

"Me? scared? what makes you say that?" Questioned Isabella,

"Well… apart from you saying about the mist, then you grabbed my hand tightly…" Ara stared at Isabella.

"What?! Do I need a reason to be scared? Big meanie is always bullying me!" Isabella's face went all red and her heart fluttered but she was scared and holding Ara's hand did help her calm her nerves and felt slightly better about the mist.
