DON´T DIE

With the sun setting the soldiers mounted their horses and took up their weapons to leave the camp for the approaching battle.

The road was rocky, uneven, and dangerous in certain sections of it, but the soldiers continued to advance incessantly.

They hoped to find a safe, dry place to rest at night by taking turns making rounds to monitor the area.

The soldiers advanced rapidly, General Huo's group was going along the first main road, Sub-general Yu advanced along one of the roads that branched out to the main one, as well as that of the general sent to help together part of his troops.

Xue was in one of the groups that was going down one of the secondary roads.

"We are almost at the border"

the soldiers who had only been resting for a few hours at night became alert and in an attack position.

The General's group was seen coming forward, while the group where Xue was left at the top of a mountain from where those soldiers with spears and swords would descend, that group made up of mostly archers were at the optimum point to shoot.

The enemy banner looked closer and closer and General Huo whistled and everyone took up positions. Little Xue had instructions when she heard the whistle come down the mountain and meet the captain.

Likewise, she quickly descended the "general" mountain.

"Up, how many nearby soldiers are you?"

"According to the formation in which they lined up, they want to appear less than they are, they must be about 15,000 or more"

"Understood, I hope you prove that you are worth for the small team"

"Yes sir"

Xue was going to walk away when the captain yelled "don't die"

Xue nodded "she didn't plan on doing it"

Xue took her position and everything for a moment became silent, the soldiers extinguished the torches that guided them all their way as they advanced through the vast darkness of the night.

It was beginning to dawn, the sun could be seen coming along with the sun. but everything in the scene ceased to be peace when a short hiss through the air.

An enemy arrow had fallen in front of the legs of the General's horse.

"Go ahead"

The soldiers shot out, even in front of the troops the horsemen in the center were soldiers with spears followed by the soldiers armed with swords and then in the rear the archers.

The battle of the Ba border had begun ...
