Chapter : Four

As soon his servant gave him the message about his granddaughter , the old man ran towards his room and started to pretend like reading a book as if he wasn't the one who was waiting for her from the long time.

Priya came to the mansion. It had many rooms and a huge library there were many servants and maids to serve them ,and bodyguards who were always standing at every corner of the house to protect them.

Handing over her bag to her maid Priya asked " Where is grandpa? ". There was a worry in her voice.

Bowing her head the maid said "Master is in his room , he was was waiting for you from a long time and not only that,he have also skipped his breakfast, he said he won't let in or talk with any of us , until he meets with you Miss ".

Taking a deep breath she asked Selina her maid." There is a gift pack in my car bring it to grandpa's room I will be there".

Telling this Priya walked towards grandpa's room. The door was open, She knocked the door twice and entered the room.

It was a big room with a minimal design,there was a family photo hanging on the wall. It was a full family photo of Merll family. James and Mrs James were sitting on sofa , behind them Christ and Kajal were standing holding little Priya in her arms. On the other photo frame there was a young Priya standing next to James .

Near the bookshelf , James was sitting on his navy blue colored wingback chair. The round glass was hanging on his ears. He was flipping the weekly business magazine, with a serious look on his face.

James was a person who would read more books. In a week he used to complete atleast four books. Not only he used to read the nonfiction books but,he also had a taste of reading a fictional books. He also had a habit of purchasing a books whenever he would go out for a vacation or business trip. Which had created a huge library in his mansion.

James was one among those people who believe the saying "It's not what you will get out of the books that is enriching, it's what the books will get out of you that will ultimately change your life ". He had learnt and applied many things from knowledge he had got from the books. That's one among the reason he was in this position.

When the door knocked and Priya entered his room , he said "I am busy can't you see that". He said in a coold ton. " Grandpa it's me". Walking towards his chair she said in low voice.

" Tell me what made you to come here? ". James words were more cold. Taking a deep breath she said " Grandpa there was a board meeting in kajal event company, the employees are asking to raise their salary.. ".

Though Priya was little scared of James, but still her words tried there best not show them. Stopping in the middle James said " So what you said ,did you agree to it? ".

" Yes, I agreed but it wasn't as much as they asked. I felt they really worthy of it , from past two years their salary was constant but at the same time we got profit not only that even we are signed for few more events which will give us more opportunity in future. " Priya said.

" When you knew they were worth it then why didn't you give them before they ask? ". Keeping the magazine aside James asked.

" I was in that process only but these things happened, by the time of the company anniversary which is going to held next month. I thought I would give them bonus". Priya said

" So, what you think that they asked it on their own or someone triggered them to ask? ". James asked her while folding his hands.

" When I got the message about sudden board meeting and that's due to employees salary, I asked my team to collect the information behind incident . Through which I got to know that there is a person who triggered them few weeks ago" .

As soon Priya said this stopping her in the middle he said " Oo, few weeks, and you didn't get to know until the day they ask you for the meeting, is this the lesson I thought you? ".

Priya had bent her head looking the ground she said " I apologize".

" Don't forget any lessons which I had thought you not even the small. The small neglect can cause a big loos". James said standing from his chair.

Priya nodded her heading without any word. " And yeah , you thought about there salary before they ask, that's good. Our workers are the main reason for our success so we should not forget them". James said with a smile on his face.

When the seriousness on his faced turned to smile , seeing that Priya was happy.

" There is another thing I wanted to warn you, I got to know about the morning incident. Why don't you listen my words, why don't you allow body guards to be with, you know how important is your security". Saying this James turned towards the window.

Priya walked towards him and said " I know how to protect myself grandpa, but ... Alright I will allow body guards to follow me from today, are you happy now ".

Meanwhile Selina came with a gift box near the door. Priya noticed it, taking the box she signed her to prepare for the lunch.

Giving the gift box to James she said " Here there are new books of your favorite author with the autograph ".

Looking it ,James opened with no time and took those books out. Looking that Priya said " Let's have lunch first after that only you can read them ". Telling this she started to drag the box slowly towards her.

" Alright, let's have lunch first ". Pulling the books back towards him James said. Priya was about to leave the room but she was stopped by James. " I hope you know how to take care of those people who have created today's mess. Always remember don't let even your shadow to know your next move Priya ".

Hearing that Priya turned into her cold attitude and said " I will take care of them, and also make sure that they won't move their next move ".

When Priya reached her room she took her phone and called to Eva. " I want the information about today's attack and I need two bodyguards by tomorrow ".

She didn't even wait till hear her reply and ended the call.

In the other side...

They were group of five sitting in a round table. It seemed that they were having a round table conference.

A lady in her office casual her hair was curly,stood from her seat saying. " I think this girl will become a hurdle for us in the future ". " Don't judge it so fast Veronica, what if she can help us in future? " Said the fat person who was dressed in a gry suit.

" I guess she will be a hurdle Alex". Said the other who was sitting opposite side worn black suit who was at mid of his Forty's .

" Let's wait Max and then come to any decision ". Said a woman who was next to him in her blue office casual . " I think Wern is right ". Said the fifth one who was at mid of his Fifty's, it seemed that he was the master mind of those.

" Alex why did you attack on her and what was the reason to trigger the employees ". He asked with a cold ton in his voice.

" I just wanted to know how strong she is..". Alex was about to complete the sentence but he was stopped him.

" Why do you behave like dumb, it's important to know about her weakness before knowing her strength. Do one thing appoint few members who can always stay near her and make sure that they will report directly to me about her activities. Until and unless I give command no one should touch her even a inch" . Telling this he walked out from the meeting.

Everyone in that room was shocked by his behavior and they thought it's a right time to start there work.
