Two friends now sit in silence as they contemplate their life. Both were very different people when they were young, but now, they seem to be living a very similar life.
They don't know how to feel about it.
"It's not like I regret ever dating Stewart as my daughter was born from it, but I could have held off on the marriage, you know," Megan suddenly speaks.
"I understand," Barbara says.
"No, you don't. You didn't have a choice. Your son was born after you married your husband. I, on the other hand, had a choice. All my family members warned me and told me not to marry Stewart, but I didn't listen," Megan complains.
Barbara can feel the frustration in Megan's voice.
"Hey, what's done is done. You cannot go back and fix it. Look at the positive side. You live in a nice house in an affluent neighborhood. Many people don't even get a fraction of what you have," Barbara tries to comfort her.
