Aurora Academy could be described as a school with a unique similarity to most military academies Romeo had heard and read about.
Romeo let his gaze wander around the Academy's compound as he drowns himself in the fascinations and magnificence it held. His heart is brimming with excitement and his brain is about to explode due to the series of overwhelming sensations he is feeling.
As the vehicle hovered into the entrance of the Academy, Romeo finds it difficult to take his eyes off the windows as his gaze travels far and wide through the transparency of the windows. For Romeo, this is simply a dream come through.
The Aurora Academy stood as a beacon of excellence with it's sleek, silver spires piercing through the sky like shards of light. Within it's confines, the next generation of Carnal Shifters and Armoured Elites are groomed, equipped with the latest advancements in technology and tactics.
Advanced holographic simulations and AI powered training programs honed the students' skills in immersive, realistic environments.
Cyber warfare and digital forensics lab prepared the Armoured Elites for the battles of the future while cutting edge biotechnology and nano medicine ensured peak physical and mental performance in the students.

The students' dorms are equipped with personalized AI assistants, adaptive learning system, and biometric sensors to monitor and optimize their well being. The Academy's sustainable energy grid and closed loop life support systems minimized it's ecological footprints.
Aurora Academy is indeed a shining example of human ingenuity and the pursuit of evolution through strength, where the brightest minds and the bravest hearts converge to forge a better and survivable future.
Having explored the entire Academy with his gaze and to his heart content, Romeo was led by Alfred to the Admission Hub where he undergo various processes and signed several documents before he is fully enrolled into the Academy.
During the processes of his enrollment, Romeo was given a ring by the Admission Officer who explained to him thoroughly, the significance of the ring.
The ring is a sleek, minimalist design with a circular face and a slim, ergonomic band. The main body of the ring was made out of titanium alloy and forged with a scratch resistant nano crystalline diamond for the face and an hypoallergenic material for the band, all of which makes the ring durable and flexible.
According to the words of the Admission Officer, the ring features biometric authentication which uses fingerprint, facial recognition or vein scanning for a secure identification. It also features a touchscreen interface with an integrated AI powered voice assistant.
The ring is also equipped with health monitoring systems; discreet vibrations, LED indicators and subtle sound cues for the notification system, wireless charging, GPS and location tracking and an encrypted storage space for a secure data storage.
With the ring, students could make purchase of items that they so desire owing to the payment capability which enabled the ring to store the Academic Points.
The Academic Point is the currency used by the Academy thus every other currency to be spent is changed into Academic Points before being spent within the Academy.
Since diamonds are spent in Land Climax, one diamond is equivalent to one thousand Academic Points but thanks to the amount of diamonds and Beast Cores Romeo possesses, he was able to fill his ring with more than a billion Academic Points which is enough to last him through the years he would spend in the Academy.
For students who are not capable enough to exchange a few million diamonds for an infinite amount of Academic Points, free points are provided to them based on their performance in the number of extracurricular activities they engage themselves in and how well they fare in their study.
Furthermore, the ring is fitted with a social media management, fitness tracking and emergency response systems. It also features augmented reality displays, artificial intelligence and quantum encryption. Simply put, the ring is the lifeline of a student in the Academy.
Having completed the enrollment procedures, it is now time for him to part ways with Alfred. Owing to the rules of the Academy, every student enrolled must undergo a testing phase which would determine the level of the capability of their Carnal Gene.
There are ten hierarchical levels when it comes to measuring the capability of a Carnal Shifter's Carnal Gene in the Academy. Each levels are denoted with a number with Level One being the lowest and the weakest and Level Ten being the highest and strongest.
The results after the testing phase would determine the kind of level a student would be granted.
"I guess this is good-bye. This is where you would have to be more self-reliant, Romeo." Alfred started as he pulls Romeo into a tight hug. "I am going to miss you." He stated, almost snorting.
"I would miss you too, Alfred." Romeo replies as he hugs Alfred back. "Make sure to take good care of yourself."
The duo are having a parting session. According to the Academy's rules, a student is needed to spend the minimum of five years in developing his innate Carnal ability and during this period of time, they are not to have contact with the outside world, except during training, save for the Noble Houses which possess the power to bend the rules to their desire.
Therefore, to Alfred and Romeo, this is a goodbye until after five years and who knows what could happen within the time space of five years.
"You too. Take good care of yourself." Alfred said as he breaks the hug. "Also, good luck on the path that lies ahead of you." Alfred said while taking a few steps away from Romeo.
They are in the Spatial Hall of the Admission Hub where students would be teleported to the Testing Center. Having said their emotional goodbyes, Romeo was instantly teleported alongside other students.
Immediately after they disappeared, several wailings erupted across the Hub as most parents, especially the mothers, are reluctant to part ways with their children.
Even Alfred almost shed tears but he withdrew it owing to his pride as a man. Nonetheless, he couldn't stop the bitterness that spreads in his heart.
He had known Romeo for the eighteen years he lived in the slums, in fact, he had literally watched Romeo grew up in the slums. When he advised Romeo to be self-reliant, he only did it to encourage him further as the young man already knows to be independent.
Having to live eighteen years of his life in the slums without parents, Romeo is one of the few orphans who made sure to decide the course of his life through hardwork and determination. Two of the attributes he possess that kept him alive and ensure his survival.
Alfred heaved an heavy sigh before leaving the Academy with his head low. He could only hope that the next five years would not be extremely difficult for the boy. With that prayer in his heart, he boards the hover vehicle and set course for the hotel.
The automated hovering vehicle had hovered a little distance away from the Academy when it was suddenly encompassed by a group of five menacing hovering vehicles that looks like tanks.
Since the location of the Academy is in the outskirts of Land Climax which is almost deserted, most people are usually attacked by bandits or other forms of hooliganism. Therefore, Alfred narrows his brows as soon a he saw the hovering tanks around him. He already took a defensive pose when he heard a statement that made him freeze in his seat.
"Alfred Whittemore, it is time for you to return to your Horde. The Horde Of Wyverns."
