Since they had both arrived, there was no reason for them to wait any longer.

The mall that they were planning to go to was still a distance away from the station, so they took one of the buses over there.

They could have taken Alexander's private car, but Alexander chose to take the bus since it had more of a date feel to it.

Maria of course didn't mind since she acted like a normal person, so she would normally take buses when getting around the city.

As the two of them sat on that bus, people couldn't help looking over at Alexander and whispering to each other. However, when they tried to take out their phones to take pictures and videos, they found that their phones wouldn't turn on just like the people from before.

It was as if there was something causing all of these phones to malfunction.
