Chapter 001 No one notice

Monday morning was busy with people running to work. Children going to school in their uniforms. It was almost summer but the heat felt like it would melt you. Bambi sat that the dinner table. She was still in her pajamas.

Her long black hair was in a messy bun. Mr. Verba was on the phone with the TV on that showed the stock market. He was holding his coffee and news paper. Not drinking it he asked "Where is my coffe?" Bambi laughed. "Daddy your holding it". Mr. Verba embarrassed, turn the page of his news paper. Mrs. Verba was updating her fb page. She was looking who like her fb post. Bambi turn to look at her older sister Kandy. She was 2 years older than her and was dating an Australian. Kandy was checking out her new lipstick. Bambi finish her breakfast. "Am going to the gym". No one said anything. "Am going to run way to Korea!" Nothing. No one notice. Bambi wasn't surprised. She went stairs got ready. Down the hall she bump into Kandy. "Ate (big sister in tagalog) can I have your gym pass?" Bambi gave her ate a big smile. "Sure" in a flat tone Kandy answered. "Here, tell them to make you a copy... we pay so much to be club members...." Kandy was reading a text message from her boyfriend. "Okay will do... Thannnk yoooou aaaaate." Bambi yelled as she ran down stairs. She took the elevator and since she was alone she started to do warm ups. Today she wore a blue Nike top with matching leggings. When the door open. "Hi Tita (auntie for older women) Elsa!" Bambi greeted her in a cheerful tone. Tita Elsa was a big gossiper so Bambi had to be careful. Tita Elsa asked "Now that your done with your university studies.... you must be looking for a husband?" Bambi was stuck because if she said no....Tita Elsa would try to set her up with her son (Edson). If she said yes...then Tita Elsa would want to know who she was dating. Bambi didnt want to lie. She had no choice so she laughed and pretend to be embarrassed covering her face she said "Oh I can't say!" The elevator door open and Bambi took off running. Leaving Tita Elsa confused and wondering. Now leaving her 70 floor building. Bambi looked up and wonder.....would she ever fall in love. Pushing this foolish questions to the side Bambi walked into the gym. It wasn't that pack since not just anyone could join. Money wasn't always a guarantee that you can join such lavish places. Social status.... was alway a guarantee and your family name. Bambi didn't want to think about her family name. After a 45-minute run on the treadmill Bambi went to the gym's juice bar. The young man asked for her order. Bambi order coconut water over ice. A group of young men where setting a juice machine called the JU2000. A top juice maker band. Bambi knew this because her family owned companies that made prototypes of computers, phones including appliances. Her thinking got interrupted by the loud commotion and a desperate yell "Leo the machine is on fire!!"
