After two beers, Wan returned to the mountain. He put the bag of sweet meat on the table. When he turned around, he found Orion placing a wooden box. Wan didn't say hello and walked past.
Orion noticed him. Then, he went into the tent.
Wan took a walk around the site. An eagle perched on a frozen tree branch. It saw Wan. It giggled to taunt him.
"Annoying creature!" Angered, he threw a snowball.
The eagle giggled again as Wan's attack missed.
"I'm in a bad mood. That angry general chose Orion over me. I know better," he muttered as he paced. The toe of his boot kicked up snow and hit someone's boots.
Wan looked up. His eyes rounded. "Salute to the General!" he called out loudly.
"You prefer Alpha's plan. Why are you so upset?"
Wan replied, "Attacking the main gate is better, General. I'll probably meet my mate there."
Gideon turned his gaze to the sky. They had trips a lot. Out of those moments, no one had met their mate yet.
