There were panicked shouts as well as many running steps. Not long after, it was quiet again. Luna sat up in bed after waking up.

She stared at the closed bedroom door. The candles on either side were still burning. She didn't see anything about the voice.

Her footsteps brought her closer to the door. Through the keyhole, she peeked. Nothing was different from the corridor.

Suddenly, her heartbeat quickened. She almost forgot to breathe when the window opened roughly. The long wind had pushed it open. The curtains were also fluttering fast.

Luna went to the window. Snow was falling at a slow pace. It almost looked like it was just floating in the air.

"It's so quiet."

She glanced outside. As she blinked, a high-speed vision passed her by. A group of black wolves go down the mountain to attack Emberfall Castle.
