Watching her husband leave, "Who else is here already?" Radka asked.

"So far Seong-min only, cuz she came with her mom...everyone else should arrive when the party starts this evening." Minnie replied.

"Do you have any idea who's been invited?"

"Andrea is...I Know you're worried about his presence."

Radka nodded, "When he does arrive, keep an eye on him for me." she said.

"Okay, anything else?" Minnie asked.

"You haven't told me about all the invitees." Radka replied.

"Yeah...Ha-yoon is invited as well.

Actually, she was here minutes ago cuz she drove Seong-min and her mom then left, but said she'll be back when the party starts with a surprise.

Also I heard Nikolai's inviting Rudy and his Hot boyfriend Blake, and I think Joel is also invited." Minnie said.

"Rudy?" Radka questioned, "Yeah!...Nikolai made up with him, I told you so when they did." Minnie replied.

"You told me Nikolai forgave him, but I didn't expect him to get invited too." Radka said with a slight smile.

"You seem kinda happy about it?" Minnie pointed out, "Forgiveness is a sign of strength and healing...Nikolai is heading toward a good path! it's something that I can't do, so it's making me feel proud of him." Radka replied, "Who else is invited?" She added asking.

"To be honest, I'm not sure...This is all I know for now, it's what I gathered from bits of their conversations... Nikolai and Jin didn't tell me much, they're being secretive." Minnie replied.

"It's because they know you're my snitch." Radka said chuckling.

Rushil stood at the foot of the kitchen's door, watching as Jin and Soo-Min were busy talking with each other.

"But seriously Jin, Do you think Nikolai would enjoy what we'll make?" Soo-Min asked, "He gave us full control of the menu, he can't go back on his word now." Jin replied jokingly.

"My son isn't picky with his food." Rushil spoke-up.

"Oh!" Soo-Min turned to meet the man's gaze, "I'm Rushil, Nikolai's dad! guess I'll be cooking with you two!" Rushil said walking towards them.

"Hello Rushil!" Jin greeted him, "And Before you call me Miss Gyeon, Rushil! drop the honorifics and stuff, the name is Soo-Min." Soo-Min said reaching for her hand to shake Rushil's.

Accepting the handshake, "I have to admit due to your youthful appearance, if I didn't know beforehand that you're Seong-Min's mother, I would've thought you're her sister." Rushil replied while examining the woman.

"I'd say the same, you look a lot younger for a man with a kid in his mid twenties." Soo-Min said giggling.

Smiling, "I take care of myself and my looks! that's why." Rushil replied, Then suddenly his smile changed into a surprised look, "Hold on, Soo-Min as in 'Soo-min the singing chef'?" Rushil asked.

"Don't tell me you follow my ViewTube channel? OMG what a small world!" Soo-Min said feeling her cheeks heat-up a little.

"I have only been following your channel for half a year now! I can't believe I didn't recognize you right away, I feel like an idiot! that's why I kept thinking you're familiar!" Rushil replied feeling embarrassed, "My memory is getting weaker than a fish." he added.

"It's okay! I don't expect anyone to recognize me! I'm so happy right now!" Soo-Min said smiling brightly.

Smiling as well, "Soo-Min is a wizard in the kitchen, she can cook anything once she decides To.

I only got better at cooking myself thanks to her channel, I've been following her since the day she uploaded her first video." Jin said proudly.

"That explains a lot! also you're like a really good singer Soo-Min, I'd be first in line to buy your album if you ever decide to drop one." Rushil said happily.

"So! let's get serious now, Soo-Min and I were discussing what to cook and we want to accommodate to everyone's taste.

Since there's isn't many people invited, so far We know you and Radka are the only ones avoiding meat, so any suggestions Rushil?" Jin asked.

"It's okay, Radka and i decided to consider this as her cheat day, so we don't really have to avoid anything." Rushil replied.

"That's awesome!" Soo-Min cheered.

"About the theme, Are you guys planning something fancy or something more homey-like?" Rushil asked back.

"We're thinking something Fun actually." Soo-Min, "Fun was the only hint Niko gave us, he just wants to enjoy this night as much as he can." Jin added.

"Is there a reason why Nikolai is feeling like having fun today? I gotta say, he's been a rollercoaster of emotions lately." Rushil said, "Niko is just happy, we went this morning to his doctor's appointment, and the doctor is hopeful about his eyesight condition." Jin replied.

"Huh... Okay." Rushil said, "Personally, I'm thinking about making a Roman style pizza!" Soo-Min spoke-up.

"Pizza is a nice Idea, everyone loves pizza." Rushil replied.

"As for me I'm thinking about some dish that includes chicken, Niko loves chicken quite a lot...he loved it when I made chicken tacos that one time." Jin said.

"True, Nikolai loves chicken... Then how about Roast chicken, or sheet-pan chicken?" Rushil suggested.

"Sheet-pan? why?" Jin asked, "Cuz it's one of the most perfect dinner choices dummy! I did a video about it last year!" Soo-Min replied.

"Oh! right! you did! you said in the video that it's easy to make the dish and accommodate it to everyone's tastes, plus it's economic and easy to clean and you don't have to pay lots of attention to it." Rushil said.

"Exactly! Maybe you should do the sheet-pan chicken instead of Jin, Rushil!" Soo-Min said.

"I think she's right." Jin spoke up, "What about Jin, what are you going to make?" Rushil asked.

"Hmm, let me think!" Soo-Min said.

After few seconds, her face lit up as an idea came into her mind "Jin, You make the Bibimbap!" Soo-Min said.

"Huh? me?" Jin replied surprised.

"Yeah! Ha-yoon and Seong-min wanted to eat that tonight, I'll kinda feel bad if the girls didn't get to taste it.

Also earlier I met Joel, and he seemed eager To try it to!" Soo-Min said.

"Joel, you mean the detective?" Rushil asked, "Yeah! so Jin, what do you think?" Soo-Min said.

"Wouldn't it be better if you cooked it yourself? I can do the Pizza." Jin replied.

Frowning a bit, "I've been cooking mostly Korean food lately, I want to change a little." Soo-Min said.

Seeing her discomfort, "Okay then." Jin replied smiling at her, "I'll do it." he added.

Smiling again, "Tehehe! I knew I can count on you!" Soo-Min replied.

"What about dessert?" Jin asked, "How about each one of us makes Their own dessert?" Rushil suggested.

"OOH!OOH!OOH! I'm gonna make Lemon Pound Cake!" Soo-min said jumping in excitement.

"Sounds good, I'll do...a cheesecake!" Rushil said.

"Both of you doing cakes? I guess I have to get creative!" Jin replied, "I know! Sprinkle cookies." he added.

A little confused, Both Soo-Min and Rushil glanced at each other before glancing at Jin.

"Aren't those like Italian wedding sweets?" Soo-Min said, "I think those are Andrea's favorite dessert, Nikolai said so once." Rushil added.

Smirking sinisterly, "Isn't that just perfect!" Jin replied.

...Meanwhile...

"Why did Minnie leave the door open!" Nikolai mumbled.

Few minutes ago Seong-min got into his room because Minnie left somewhere, and Seong-min took the chance to ambush Nikolai.

"Nikollai-ssi! please let me give you a makeover! Can I At least pick you an outfit!" Seong-min begged while Hugging Nikolai, "Girl get off me!" he replied annoyed.

"Dude! c'mon! just cuz you can't see how messy you're looking right now, doesn't mean you don't need to take care of yourself!" Seong-min said.

"Your brother says I look good, what the hell are you talking about?!" Nikolai asked.

"My brother sees the world in rose-colored glasses when he's with you! he's so in love he doesn't care about how you're presenting yourself!" Seong-min replied.

Flustered and embarrassed, "Whatever...You're so Annoying! you're all up in my personal space! I can't see clearly so it's freaking me out that you're so close to me right now." Nikolai replied pushing her away.

"I think you should take Seong-Min's advice, it's true Jin may not Care if you're looking messy, but I'm sure he'll appreciate you getting cuter for him...I'm wearing a tiny dress for the first time in a long time cause your dad bought it for me." A voice spoke-up.

"Mama!" Nikolai said recognizing the voice.

Chuckling, "What happened to 'mom'? I thought you don't like calling me 'Mama' in front of people." Radka replied.

"Are you really wearing a dress?" Nikolai asked, "Yeah! she look good btw!" Minnie said Popping from behind Radka.

Seeing her bodyguard bestie, "Minnie! please back me up!" Seong-min said.

"What's going on?" Minnie asked, "Seong-min is trying to dress Nikolai up for the party, but he's resisting." Radka explained.

Sighing, "Gurl, don't try with him, I tried before you! I told him, I can make him look scrump-deli-icious, but he kept saying he don't want to." Minnie replied.

"I suppose if Nikolai doesn't need your help girls, maybe I should take it...I think I need a little makeup." Radka said.

"WEH? you're not wearing any makeup?" Seong-min asked surprised, "I thought you were! You're really pretty Radka!" She added smiling.

Blushing, "Goodness child!" Radka mumbled.

"I can do your makeup! I brought my things with me so I can do mine too, if that's okay with you I'd like to help!" Seong-min said, "I suppose, yes." Radka replied.

"Let's go to the living room then!" Seong-min said hopping on her feet with Radka following her behind.

"This is your last chance Nikolai, even your Mama is getting ready!" Minnie spoke out loud.

Defeated, "Ughhhhh! fine, Minnie you can help me Dress-Up." Nikolai replied.

...Some time later...Party Time...

"Coming!" Minnie said as she swayed happily all the way to the door, she quickly opened it and welcome the guests.

Wearing a dark suit, "Minnie Hi!" Rudy said greeting her, "Hello Miss Barlow!" Blake in a casual suit greeted her next.

Minnie who wore an off-shoulders black top with tight Jean and black heels, felt underdressed all of the sudden.

There wasn't a specific dress code for the party, Nikolai insisted that everyone would wear what they want to the party, so Minnie who's still on guard duty, went simple.

"You look beautiful btw, Minnie!" Rudy said going inside, "He's right." Blake said smiling.

"Thank you!" Minnie squealed happily.

She led the two inside the house and into the living room, where the sound of upbeat music played in the background, and an empty dinning table was waiting to be filled.

Nikolai was nowhere to be seen but Rudy managed to recognize the other few faces there, First was Andrea who silently sat on the couch.

Seong-min in her pink back knot-dress, was with Radka standing next to each other, talking and laughing while Joel was leaning on the wall, staring at particularly nothing.

"Rudy! Blake!" Seong-min noticed the couple and ran towards them, "You guys were invited?" she added asking.

"Yeah, I did it! I apologized to Nikolai and he forgave me...and all of the sudden I got invited!" Rudy replied smiling.

"That's Awesome!" Seong-min said, "Yeah, right!" Joel spoke-up being sarcastic, making Rudy's smile fade away.

Angry, "Joel!" Seong-min said turning to face Joel, "Let's try to have fun tonight, okay." She said.

Feeling threatened all of the sudden, "Umm, yeah." Joel replied nervously.

Suddenly, both Jin and Rushil walked in with plates in Their hands, Soo-Min joined in later and the three started setting the dinning table.

"The smell is gorgeous!" Minnie said, "Girl you're drooling!" Seong-min replied sniggering.

"Gurl can you you blame me! you can smell this can't you?!"Minnie said.
