Goodbye papa, I'll Miss you.

Worried that neither his son or son-in-law have come to the living room, and the tea was already getting cold, Rushil went to check in on Nikolai and Jin in the room where those two are supposed to be.

As he made it to the room, he tried to twist the knob but the door was locked, so he decided to knock.

"Boys is everything alright?" He asked, but instead of getting a response, the door got unlocked.

Rushil watched with skeptical and somewhat surprised eyes, as fully dressed Nikolai and Jin stood in front of him, with Jin carrying a suitcase of their belongings.

Worried, "Uhh, you guys are leaving? Did something happen?!" Rushil asked.

Unable to answer Rushil's question, Jin just glanced at him weirdly, almost as if he's begging him through his expression to not ask anymore questions.

"Thanks for everything dad, but I just can't stay here any longer." Nikolai replied, "Jin please, guide me to the door." He added and offered his hand to Jin who grabbed it and gently started guiding him while passing by a now confused Rushil.

"Hey if nothing serious happened, can you please mind staying here for one more day? Radka is not being herself, it would be nice if you two can help me out with her!" Rushil said following them.

Jin remained silent, slowly guiding Nikolai to the front door, even Nikolai himself didn't reply this time, he was ignoring his father and it bothered Rushil.

"Nikolai, what's going on?!" Rushil asked, still following them, but also got no response.

Passing by the living room, "Nikolai stop being stubborn and talk to me, you're not 8 anymore!" Rushil said angrily.

Radka was still in the living room, at this point she was standing and was planning to leave when the three men walked in.

"Radka please can you talk to your son?!he's ignoring me?!" Rushil pleaded with her.

Finally speaking, "What's going on?" Radka asked stopping Nikolai and Jin, she didn't seem too concerned or interested, but she still asked which made Rushil sigh in relief.

"I'm leaving, that's what's going on." Nikolai said, "You're going back to your house already." Radka replied.

"You know what mom and dad? I was planning to just leave in secrecy and let you deal with it when you find out, but then I remembered you have spies everywhere so before your girls tell you what I'm up to, I'm going to let you know anyways!

I'm not just leaving to my house because I miss it, I'm going to my house to grab my shit so I can leave this entire Town behind and with it, you and your girls." Nikolai said.

With wide eyes, "What the hell are you talking about?!" Rushil asked, "Why do you wanna leave?! your mother and i are doing our best to keep you safe! if you leave town there is no telling what's going to happen to you! that's if we even let you do that!" Rushil said.

Fuming, "I don't want to live my life like a cage animal anymore! You guys lied to me my whole life and expect me to continue obeying you like nothing happened?!

You lied about who you are the whole time I mean, I'm not saying I want your blood money or whatever it is that you were making this whole years from your illegal activities, but you guys ran a criminal empire while making me grow-up thinking we're poor!

I didn't ask for basic shit that other kids ask for because I thought you guys won't be able to provide it! I didn't ask for Acting classes, I didn't ask for materials for my hobbies, I didn't ask for much toys I mean do you have any idea what it's like knowing that your parents have money and power but they don't even share it with you, when they brought you to life without your permission?!

When I first suspected you for being criminals I was scared, I wanted to believe it's not true, I left the house, became a successful actor and even bought you this house to feed into my delusion that you're just an ordinary couple!" Nikolai replied.

As both Radka and Rushil were visibly shocked, Jin was feeling desperate, he really wanted to leave already and avoid this drama but he couldn't just do anything without Nikolai telling him.

"Everything we've done, was to protect you?!" Rushil spoke-up, "ARE YOU JOKING RIGHT NOW?! last time I checked I never asked you to create an empire of illegal shit for my sake! You guys did it before you even had me?!

And when you had me, you weren't even spending the money on me! So I find it really hard to believe that everything you've done, you done it really for me! You guys definitely have a reason for being criminals but it ain't fucking 'ME'!

I can't believe I was so fucking dumb to just not think about it when I realized you guys are crime lords! I just brushed it off and laughed about it but now I had a moment of fucking clarity and damn was I a stupid Bitch!" Nikolai replied.

"Niko!" Jin mumbled in surprise, Rushil lowered his head, he knew Nikolai was right In everything he said so he went silent too.

Seemingly out of her shocked state, "Is that your opinion?" Radka calmly asked.

"Yeah...If you want any chance to redeem yourselves with me, you're going to let me go without any trouble! I don't need anybody following me, no more spying on me, I just want to live peacefully from now on and figure out my life." Nikolai replied.

"Son, listen...I get it, you're feeling like the security measures are too much, we can fix it! But you can't leave town, this place is the only safe place for you to be at! You were publicly threatened with murder Niko!" Rushil said, despite his anger he tried to be as gentle as he could, he could see Nikolai was shaking with frustration.

"I'm not changing my mind, I wanna out! I'm done with these gangster shenanigans, maybe I'm still blind and can't see your faces but I know now for sure from your reactions that the reason why you're desperate to lock me in this town is because you're responsible for the death threats I got.

I don't know how but I know you have a hand in it, and of course you won't tell me even if it's my goddamn life on the line, so let's get even, shall we?

I'll leave, and you'll still have a son who Calls on new years and other holidays to wish you a happy day, Heck I'll forgive and forget everything, as long as you just step out of my way and don't step back in again without my permission, because last time I checked I'm 25 and I'm an actor, I'm a public figure with a whole life and responsibilities.

I need to leave this hellhole of a town that has done nothing but make me lose people I love bit by bit, I don't want to ruin our relationship so I'm leaving before it gets too late for me to forgive you two." Nikolai replied.

"Niko, Maybe you should take a minute to sit, you're shaking like a leaf!" Jin said reaching to hold Nikolai's trembling hand.

Sighing, "Fine, you want out? You want to leave?!" Radka spoke-up.

"Radka's what the hell?!" Rushil replied, "I made myself clear Mama." Nikolai said.

"Jin, you work for me, you're loyal to me, right?...you ain't saying anything here?" Radka asked with a mean stare.

Taking a deep breath, Jin looked Radka in the eyes while holding Nikolai's hand, "No ma'am, I work for Nikolai, and I'm loyal to Nikolai." He replied.

Hearing his boyfriend's words, Nikolai's heart calmed down for a moment.

Nodding somewhat surprisingly, "Fine...fine then, leave!" Radka said.

"RADKA?!" Rushil shouted.

Happy, "Wait, seriously? We can go?" Nikolai asked.

"I'll tell you what my dad told me when I left the house and went with Rushil." Radka stated.

Jin was a bit confused when Rushil's face seemed paler upon hearing Radka's last statement.

"You never talked about grandpa before!" Nikolai said surprised.

"Well it's for a good reason, it's funny that only now I get part of his point of view from that time." Radka replied, "He said, 'If you leave Radka with that man, you're no longer welcome back, you're no longer welcome as A child of mine, don't even come to my funeral." She said.

Feeling the sudden feeling of his heart sinking, Nikolai didn't expect those words, he was stunned into silence.

"RADKA?! Don't be fuckin stupid!" Rushil yelled out.

"Radka!" Jin was also in disbelief, "Are you disowning your son?" He asked with wide eyes.

"If you two walk out of that front door, I will no longer protect you, I won't care if a car hit you both the moment you step out.

You won't hear from me anymore, and don't even try to contact me someday, I won't attend your wedding if you ever got married, I don't care of y'all adopt or foster, and I'll make sure you get kicked out of my funeral if you ever decided to show-up." Radka replied with a calm voice, it almost sounded as of she was kidding.

"Mama!" Nikolai finally opened his mouth, "Why are you doing this?!" He asked as he bursted into tears.

"Radka, Nikolai let's just calm down and have a seat all of us!" Rushil said, "Rushil is right, this is stupid! You two need to clear your Heads." Jin said as well.

"I've said what I've said and I ain't changing my mind either! If Nikolai wants to leave then he no longer has a mother! If you wish to keep your relationship with him Rushil, be my guest, but I'm not wasting my time on him anymore.

He was ready to cut us off if we wouldn't let him leave, now he can't handle it now that I've given him the opportunity to do so?! What a hypocrite!

I never really wanted a kid anyways, get lost." Radka replied coldly.

Like a cutting knife, Radka's words made Nikolai's heart bleed, "Radka I swear I'll fuckin divorce you if you don't get your heart out of the refrigerator!" Rushil threatened.

"You've always knew I was trouble, I gave you too a chance to leave...you should've left Rushil but no! you stuck by then whined about every struggle we went through." Radka replied.

Scoffing in utter shock, "You fucking moron! Oh to hell with you today! You've been getting on my nerves all day and I tried to get you to feel better but NO! Your toxic ass can't handle people being decent to you!

So you want to be like your racist father?! You want to cut our son because he chose to chase his happiness?! HUH?" Rushil shouted.

"You two please! Calm down!" Jin said.

Suddenly, "Jin, let's go...we're not welcome here anymore." Nikolai spoke-up while wiping his tears.

"Niko! But?!"

"Jin! Please..."

Giving the older couple one last look of sympathy, Jin started guiding Nikolai once again to the front door.

Chasing after them, "Hey, hey! Just stop! Give your mother a chance to cool off and see how stupid she's acting!

Stay just until tomorrow, or at least Until the night!" Rushil begged.

"Thanks for everything, Papa." Nikolai said, he reached carefully with his hand until he could feel his dad's body and then hugged him.

Fighting back his tears, Rushil hugged his son back, "I'll talk to her, I won't let her do this...so please forgive her, forgive us son, and please come back to us....I love you Nikolai, your mother too, she's just scared." Rushil said.

"Goodbye papa, I'll Miss you." Nikolai replied.
