Anybody can mask their true identity.

As they walked together, "You've been frowning all the way, are you still mad that Ha-yoon told me about your plans?" Cyrus asked Curiously.

It was true, Seong-min has been frowning nonstop ever since they left the house, she walked with her phone in her hand, glaring at something, and she hasn't spoken much ever since they left.

Cyrus was surprised she hasn't asked him anything yet, like what did he talk with Ha-yoon about or why he seemed to be well-dressed compared to the usual.

"I have my reasons to be frowning, it doesn't really concern you." Seong-min replied.

"I really don't like you in your sour mood, I'm the sour one here, stop stealing my role." Cyrus joked.

"You're right, I'm sweet usually and you're the sour one, I guess we switched today." She replied.

"Hey, Aren't you curious about anything? We're gonna meet-up with Moses in few minutes, don't you think we should be strategizing on how best to approach him?" He asked.

Sighing, "Since you're bothering me, let me bother you back." Seong-min said before she stopped walking.

Stopping as well, "Huh?" Cyrus blinked at her twice in confusion.

"I'm actually curious about something, and it's about you.

Normally you would've flipped knowing I planned something like meeting Moses behind your back, I didn't even ask you or tell you beforehand that I was planning to go eat ice-cream with Moses and his kid." Seong-min said.

"But you did say it was kind of like in the blur of the moment, so you weren't planning from the start to go behind my back, that's why I'm not angry.

Besides, now that I think about it...i was really inconsiderate, attacking Moses like that in front of his kid...the little girl is innocent, she didn't need to see that, so I'm hoping that I get a chance to apologize with as little of awkwardness as possible." Cyrus replied.

Dumbfounded, Seong-min touched both Cyrus's forehead and her own forehead at the same time with the backs of her hands.

Confused, "What are you doing?!" Cyrus asked.

"Weird, you don't seem to be having a fever! Are you hallucinating btw?" Seong-min questioned with genuine worry in her voice.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Me?! You're the one acting like an angel all of the sudden?! You wanna apologize to Moses! Are you an alien? Did you switch places with the real Cyrus?!"

"Stop joking Seong-min, I'm being serious." Cyrus said.

"If you say so, but I'm keeping my eyes on you! Just in case you're really an alien." Seong-min replied.

Scoffing, "Wow, you're crazy!" Cyrus said, "She acts as if I'm never nice!" He added scoffing again.

"You're really weird today! You're acting as if life is suddenly rainbows and cupcakes." Seong-min said, "Just focus on Moses for now, stop obsessing with me! I know you like me but control yourself!" Cyrus replied.

"Says the guy who's hung-up on His ex-roomate...Poor Ha-yoon." Seong-min replied.

"Huh?! Ha-yoon is now a thing from the past! I'm no longer interested in her, and you too should move on!" Cyrus blurred out.

Surprised, "WEH?! You moved on? When did that happen? In your dreams?! What the hell do you mean by that?!" Seong-min asked.

"Fine! if you insist on bugging me! I'll tell you but don't blame me for ruining your mood!" Cyrus replied, slightly angry.

"My mood was already ruined before I even saw you! So speak-up!" She said.

"Huh why? What happened?" He asked.

"Cyrus stop being elusive and answer me!"

"Okay! okay...I'll say it, actually I don't know how to say it...without feeling embarrassed."

Groaning, "UGH?! forget it! You're so annoying! you're not gonna tell me!" Seong-min said annoyed and started to walk again.

As his face started to heat-up just thinking about it, "Hey! wait I'm not being elusive on purpose! I'm really embarrassed." Cyrus replied following her.

"Oh really?! what could make a guy like you, so embarrassed?!" She asked skeptically.

"I ASKED LYDIA TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND TODAY!" Cyrus replied flustered.

Seong-min stopped, "WHAT?!"

"You heard that right! just before I came to Ha-yoon's place, I asked Lydia to be my girlfriend...though she still haven't answered me yet." Cyrus said, "I'm not really good with these things...so are you hurt by any chance?" He added asking.

Faking a smug smile, "You mean if I'm jealous or shit? don't worry about that, my crush on you is temporary, it's gonna go away! besides you're not really my type! I probably had a crush on you because you saved my Goddamn life!" She replied.

"I'm glad to hear that, Min."

"So, Lydia...she must be happy, what made you wanna ask her?"

"I hope that she's really happy! Actually she came to my dad's hospital room yesterday! she brought a cake and we kinda had like small birthday party, and my dad loved Lydia instantly.

I don't know why but when she and my dad started singing happy birthday for me, it triggered my old memories with Julian, and all I know next is that I started crying..."

"You cried because Lydia sang you a happy birthday song?"

"Pretty much yeah...Also some stuff happened afterwards, so..."

Unexpectedly, "You kissed her, didn't you?" Seong-min asked with a knowing gaze.

"You're scary...how did you know?" Cyrus asked back.

"In one of his shows, Nikolai played a role where he asked the girl he kissed out, the next day it happened, even though it didn't seem like anything romantic was going on between them...I just guessed the plot is the same as yours.

And again I'll clarify that I'm not feeling jealous of Lydia, if anything I'm feeling stupid for liking you...you were right that day, I'm just a kid compared to you, I mean I'm barely legal and trying to bag a man who's old as my brother...what was I thinking?" Seong-min said chuckling.

"I'm sure you're going to meet the perfect guy someday, someone who's around your age and hopefully nothing older than 3 years." Cyrus replied.

"Or a girl that's 3 years older cuz at this point, I'm okay with anyone honestly..."

"Being single isn't that bad, besides you're still too young to worry about romance, sis."

Suddenly, "I think Ha-yoon and my mom are fucking, at least they definitely did yesterday!" Seong-min said nonchalantly.

With wide eyes, "PLEASE GIVE ME A WARNING NEXT TIME YOU'RE GONNA SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN!" Cyrus replied.

"Since you're gonna be dating Lydia, you shouldn't be jealous about Ha-yoon anymore." Seong-min said.

Surprised, "Wait, you're not joking about Your mom and Ha-yoon?" Cyrus asked.

As they stood outside the ice-cream shop, "Forget I said anything." Seong-min replied, "Moses should be here any minute." She added.

"You can't just drop a bombshell on me like that?!" Cyrus said.

Sighing, "Hey...Can I tell you a secret? promise me you'll keep it a secret." Seong-min asked so seriously, Cyrus found himself even more confused but he replied, "Sure thing I guess."

"My dad is coming today...with his bodyguard...who's actually his boyfriend." Seong-min said.

Raising both of his eyebrows, "His boyfriend?!...is that why you said your dad was protecting Jin by pretending to be homophobic? He's bisexual?!" Cyrus replied.

"He's been dating this bodyguard guy who's 30 years old, basically he's way younger than my dad, and my grandpa has no idea."

"Wow...your dad must be living in daily terror of being outed."

"It's a nightmare...he's lucky his boyfriend is very capable of hiding stuff, because honestly my dad isn't really that reliable when it comes to covering stuff, also my mom covered for them for some time."

"I find it difficult to believe that your dad being a company CEO, doesn't know how to cover his tracks." Cyrus said, "I mean he did a good job hiding Jin." He added.

"That's because Lily helped him a lot when she was alive, then my mom took over and made sure my grandpa didn't suspect anything." Seong-min replied.

"I see...thank you for trusting me with your secret, although I'm curious why you're telling me about it?" Cyrus asked.

"I only told you one part of the secret..."

"Hmm? There's more?"

"Yeah..."

"Min, what is it?"

Sighing deeply, "That's the thing my dad, he's really smart and does a good job working but when it comes to human interaction, he's really not qualified to take the lead.

In the company, he's doing well but outside he's struggling." She said.

"He fell in love with a woman and had a kid with her, then married Another and had another kid with her, then now he's dating a dude at least 10 years younger than him, I think your dad is more than qualified for human interactions." Cyrus replied chuckling.

"My dad is autistic." Seong-min said.

Blinking, "Say what now?" Cyrus asked.

"I said he's autistic, and unfortunately for the longest part of his life, he was ashamed of it.

He got diagnosed sometime during his late teenage years, because my grandpa refused to acknowledge that my dad was different from kids his age.

But when my dad started to get severely bullied by other teens for being 'Weird' especially because of his obsession with a certain 'Subject'...my grandpa finally gave-up and decided to take him to a doctor.

But upon realizing my dad was autistic, my grandpa felt so ashamed, he hid the diagnosis from the rest of world, and had my dad trained to act like 'A normal person'." Seong-min explained.

Shocked, "I fucking hate your grandpa!" Cyrus said.

"I was disgusted when I found out about my Grandpa's actions...The reason why I wanted to go on this ice-cream date was because that little girl is also autistic." Seong-min replied.

"Jesus..."

"Not so many people can tell that my dad is autistic, he's really good at pretending and masking...I mean after years of being traumatized by a grandpa like mine, Anybody can mask their true identity."

"How severe is his autism?" Cyrus asked.

"I'm not quite sure...it was actually his boyfriend who told me about it, when I caught them together and blackmailed them so I can get here, My dad and boyfriend decided to be more honest with me.

My dad unmasked in front of me for the first time...and all of the sudden, he was a completely different person." Seong-min explained.

"The boyfriend sounds like he really loves Your dad...don't get me the wrong way, but many people wouldn't wanna date someone..."

"Like my dad?...I know, and you're right, they really love each other...At least I think my dad really loves his boyfriend."

"You said your dad has an obsession? I know that each autistic individual have that one thing they obsessed over, what's that for your dad? If you don't mind me asking?" Cyrus asked.

Smiling, "Dolls! My dad loves collecting dolls! Especially unique ones!" She replied.

"Dolls? That's pretty interesting...Oh, btw! You said he's coming today, when exactly?" He asked.

"I dunno exactly, he wasn't sure of the time himself, but probably sometime in the evening." She replied.

"I'd like to meet him, if that's okay! And don't worry about your secret, or pretty much his secret.

I'll keep it locked." Cyrus said.

"Thanks...and yeah you can meet him, as long as you keep your distance and behave."

"Why does everyone believe I'll misbehave today?!"

"You know...for the longest part of my life, I thought my dad was cold hearted, I really hated him...until I found out the truth about him.

I hope Jin comes to forgive him...btw Jin knows our dad is bi, though he has no idea about the autism." Seong-min said.

"Then maybe you guys should tell him, Jin is a lot kinder than you think, he's probably as kind as you Seong-min." Cyrus replied making her smile.
