He knew that the two individuals before him were not ones they could afford to provoke. If they were confrontational now, everyone in their castle might pay a hefty price.

Beruin led Alexander and his party to the castle, and along the way, while the dwarfs were somewhat panicky, they did not create a commotion under Beruin's hint.

In the banquet hall of the castle, Beruin invited Alexander and Alice to sit down, then poured wine for them personally. Alexander nodded slightly, smiled faintly, and began to taste it.

"Beruin, I need you to tell me where Karu is now. I really need him," Alexander cut straight to the point.

On hearing this, Beruin showed a surprised expression, but he still said, "Honorable Mr. Alexander, and the beautiful lady next to you, Karu is a criminal. His crimes are unacceptable to our dwarf clan. Are you sure you want to find him?"
