The next day.

Sun Yi, Lu Xia, and Feng Yumeng left the Mountain Goat City and went to the East Border. They are using a carriage this time because they couldn't find a suitable ride for Feng Yumeng. 

Feng Yumeng wants a Demonic Beast like Night Wolf and Azure Tiger, but a Demonic Beast with such potential doesn't exist in a place like Mountain Goat City.

Sun Yi helplessly shook his head and returned, "What about you?"

"Are you not going to reveal your real identity to me, Mengmeng?" 

Feng Yumeng was stunned. She pouted and crossed her legs, playing a fool character. "My real name is Feng Yumeng."

"I'm not talking about your name. I'm talking about your background." 

"Uugh, fine. I'm from the outside of the Primal Sirius Empire. My family is one of the Primal Cloud Empire's ten vassals, Feng Clan." 

"Happy now?" 

"Primal Cloud Empire's ten vassals, Feng Clan. That's another Duke's Lineage." Lu Xia covered her mouth in surprise.

Sun Yi shrugged because he didn't know much about the politics of this world. He knew one or two things about every threatening faction in the Northern Qi continent. "What about your engagement? You run away from it, no?" 

Feng Yumeng rolled her eyes, "Hmph! My family engaged me to the Primal Cloud Empire's crown prince, but I firmly refused because he was a slob of a human being." 

"He was already forty-nine by now and had many wives already." 

"An old cow trying to eat fresh grass, huh?" Sun Yi nodded in understanding. 

"I had to say... Your luck is decent, Mengmeng." 

"You actually ran from a prince and fell into another prince." 

"Wait, you..." Feng Yumeng narrowed her eyes.

Sun Yi laughed, "My real name is Sun Yi. Well, you already knew this as Lu Xia, and I didn't bother to hide it anymore."

"Also, I'm actually Sun Yi's maid and bodyguard." Lu Xia added with a smile.

She should have guessed already.

"Not a fun fact you'd given to a girlfriend, normally." Feng Yumeng sighed at Sun Yi. She could only blame herself for falling in love with this fellow.

After knowing each other's identity, Sun Yi and Feng Yumeng felt slightly closer. Truthfully, nothing changed, but Feng Yumeng felt assured that her instinct wasn't wrong. 

No matter how Feng Yumeng rebelled against her family, she still needed someone to support her one day. She was very cautious of her journey, but Sun Yi's presence finally gave her time to breathe.

In fact, Feng Yumeng felt immensely proud, 'I can't run forever, but I wonder what kind of faces those elders made when they learned my boyfriend was the Primal Sirius Empire's Sixth Prince, hehehe~!'

Feng Yumeng also looked over the caravans and commented, "Aren't they too optimistic? Most of them don't look or feel talented."

Sun Yi inwardly smiled because Feng Yumeng wasn't wrong.

Lu Xia returned with a pass permit and continued their journey to the Heavenly Path Sect.
