Sorry for the lack of update yesterday, I was so tired from my daily jobs that I couldn't muster any strength to lift my fingers. I'm trying my best to publish at least one chapter everyday but if IRL matter warrant it, I might need to prioritize it over this work, so I'll ask you guys for understanding beforehand. Bing Shuang stood up and took out a pot of tea leaves from a cupboard. There was no hesitation in her step as if she was in her own home. She then personally brewed it for the Pavilion Master. Her action was flawless as though she had done it for million times.

Despite her cold demeanour, she was truly a considerate person, Li Xiao mused in his heart while enjoying Bing Shuang's elegant movement.

Bing Shuang, who was boiling the water, lifted her head and looked at Linglong, their gazes met. Although they didn't communicate verbally, they instantly understood each other's memories and current situations.

As the reward of the system, they were born to serve the Pavilion Master, Li Xiao, with utmost loyalty. Even if he were to order them to die, they would go cross the sea of fire and mountain of blade without a shred of hesitation.

However, they were not puppets. They were made from fleshes and bloods; also possessed senses of self and egos. They knew what to do without needing instructions and would act to ensure the Pavilion Master's happiness.

Bing Shuang placed the brewed tea in front of Li Xiao, respectfully saying, "Pavilion Master, please enjoy your tea."

"Much appreciated." Li Xiao sipped the hot tea, feeling secretly delighted. Being served by a Dou Venerable expert was a luxury few could imagine. If others were to witness this scene, they would be so shocked that their jaws dropped to the floor.

Speaking about Dao Venerable, Bing Shuang should also have her own title.

Pondering for a moment, Li Xiao finally spoke, "Bing Shuang, from now on, your title will be Ice Frost Venerable. How does that sound?"

Li Xiao comfortably settled into his chair and began reading a book from the table with an air of elegance.

With rosy cheeks, Linglong and Bing Shuang downed their tea in one go without hesitation.

Niu Meng furrowed his brow and smacked the Lion King's rump. The loud slap made the beast yelp in pain.

"Ow, it hurts!"

"Hurry up! If you don't finish today, we'll have braised lion head for dinner!"

Under Niu Meng's threat, the Lion King reluctantly continued its work.

Li Xiao chuckled. "Give him this Transformation Pill. It's as promised from last time."

Bing Shuang took the Tier-7 Transformation Pill handed by the Pavilion Master and instantly appeared in front of the Lion King.

The sudden appearance of a strange woman startled the Lion King. Who was she and why did she suddenly appear? And what's more frightening was he didn't even notice her presence before!

Bing Shuang presented the pill and said, "The Pavilion Master said that because of your diligent work and the promise made to you, he is rewarding you with this tier-7 Transformation Pill."

Hearing this, the Lion King's eyes widened in disbelief. It looked at Li Xiao, who smiled back playfully.

The Lion King had thought it was a joke, but the Pavilion Master was actually giving it a tier-7 Transformation Pill!

Such pills were extremely precious, and yet the Pavilion Master gave it away without a second thought. This spoke volumes about his wealth and disregard for such items.

The Lion King snapped out of its stupor, dragging his huge body to Li Xiao, and knelt before him, tears streaming down his face. "Thank you, Pavilion Master. From now on, I'll be your horse and cow. Whatever you wish to do, whatever pose, whatever style, I'll do it without hesitation!"

"Uh, I don't have such hobby," Li Xiao coughed. "You can take the pill yourself or give it to your child. I can promise you another one in a month."

With the system store's cooldown, it will take a month to get another seventh-tier Transformation Pill.

After much thought, the Lion King decided to give the pill to his cub. Seeing his descendant grow strong was his greatest desire.

The three rank five magical beasts watched with envy, wondering when they might get a taste of such a precious pill.
