**Chapter 40: Kunpeng Magic**
Xiao Ning smiled and decided not to dwell on the topic further.
Leaning against the door, he gazed up at the stars. The tranquil atmosphere seemed to influence the Little Medical Fairy as well.
She hugged her knees, her eyes reflecting the starlight.
In the misty valley, under the soft moonlight, the two of them quietly admired the stars.
Eventually, as they grew drowsy, they went to their separate rooms.
The next morning, Xiao Ning woke up early. Looking outside, he saw that the sun hadn't risen yet.
He shook off his sleepiness, got up, and stepped outside.
Smoke was curling up from the kitchen, and the Little Medical Fairy was busy cooking.
"Are you awake?" Her voice, clear but slightly muffled by the distance, reached him.
Turning to see the Little Medical Fairy at the stove, Xiao Ning couldn't help but smile.
He walked over, peered into the pot, and said, "It looks delicious. I'm starving!"
The Little Medical Fairy gently pushed him away from the pot.
Smiling, she said, "Sit down, the meal is ready,I promise you'll be satisfied."
Xiao Ning eagerly responded, "Then I'm ready for a big meal!"
After breakfast, with the sun fully up and the fog in the valley lifting, Xiao Ning spread his purple cloud wings.
He gave the Little Medical Fairy a warm hug, then took off into the sky, disappearing into the mist.
As Xiao Ning's figure faded, the Little Medical Fairy's smile turned wistful.
She sat by the door, a trace of sadness in her eyes, and watched him go.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ning flew swiftly above the jungle, soon reaching the depths of the Warcraft Forest. He breathed in deeply, relishing the fresh air.
The comfort of the Misty Valley seemed a distant memory as he felt the thrill of adventure.
"Warcraft Mountains, here I come! Are you ready?" he called out excitedly.
He landed where he had previously fought and saw that the aftermath had been mostly repaired by the forest's natural healing, leaving only large cracks in the bluestone ground.
"I wonder where Xiao Yan went," Xiao Ning mused, feeling a bit frustrated.
He had been so focused on battling monsters and collecting their blood that he forgot to follow up on Xiao Yan's progress with the body tempering elixir.
Realizing that Xiao Yan might have searched for him in vain, Xiao Ning decided to explore the area instead.
He took to the sky, using his Ziyun Wings to hover and search for him.
"I'll just leave those medicinal materials with him," he thought.
"He's got a monster blood-tempered body anyway, he might not even need them."
After an hour of searching without success, Xiao Ning gave up looking for Xiao Yan and prepared to head deeper into the Warcraft Mountains.
Just then, he noticed intense fighting energy fluctuations below. He spotted two monsters in a fierce battle.
Xiao Ning landed on a tree to observe.
The two monsters were far more powerful than the iron-clawed giant bear he had previously encountered.
His excitement grew as he watched them clash.
On the ground by the river, an armored rhinoceros, towering and panting heavily, lowered its head and growled.
In front of it, a pitch-black giant ape with white spots hammered its chest, its red eyes glaring fiercely.
With a roar, they charged at each other, the air exploding around them.
The ground trembled, and century-old trees and massive stones were crushed like fragile toys.
Xiao Ning, thrilled by the raw power of the battle, casually removed his shirt, revealing his muscular form.
He jumped into the fray, unafraid.
The monsters initially ignored Xiao Ning, perceiving him as an insignificant human fighter. This oversight would cost them dearly.
Xiao Ning stepped forward with a burst of energy, causing the ground to crack beneath him.
He struck the armored rhinoceros and the giant ape with powerful punches.
"Bang! Bang!" The sounds of the impacts echoed as the monsters were thrown back.
The armored rhinoceros stumbled and fell, while the giant ape, though pushed further back, managed to stabilize itself.
"Roar!" The battle continued, now with Xiao Ning joining the fray.
