On the cliff, Xiao Ning sat quietly, waiting for the Little Fairy to climb up.

He knew that with her strength alone, she couldn't enter the cave to get the treasure for in the novel, she relied on Xiao Yan's power to achieve her goal.

After about fifteen minutes, there were movements below the cliff.

Soon, a delicate face with an ethereal aura emerged.

"You!" The Little Medical Fairy climbed up with great effort.

When she saw Xiao Ning sitting there, she was startled and looked at him in panic.

Xiao Ning who had prepared himself for this, remained calm.

Their eyes met in a strange and tense moment.

"Can you give me a hand?" she finally asked softly.

"Sure," Xiao Ning replied, smiling.

He grabbed her outstretched hand and, with a slight exertion, helped her leap gracefully to the top of the cliff.

"Thanks," she whispered, quickly pulling her hand away.

She glanced around, then looked at Xiao Ning. "Aren't you one of the mercenary guards hired by Wanyao Zhai?"

"No, I'm not a mercenary," Xiao Ning replied, a teasing look in his eyes.

Hearing this, the Little Medical Fairy frowned slightly. "It's late, and you don't have a place to stay, right? I'm with Wanyao Zhai, and we've set up camp nearby. If you don't mind, you can stay with us."

"Sorry, I'm not used to living with other people," Xiao Ning said, shaking his head with a suppressed smile.

"Oh, well."

She looked disappointed and turned to leave. When she noticed Xiao Ning still standing there, she asked,

"Aren't you leaving?"

"No, the scenery here is nice,I'll sleep here tonight,"

Xiao Ning said, smiling.

Her expression changed, and she suddenly looked behind him with a look of horror.

"Be careful!" she exclaimed, preparing to throw some medicinal powder.

But Xiao Ning didn't react, just stared at her with a hint of amusement.

"You..." she stammered, embarrassed that her trick didn't work.

"You tried every means to make me leave, even planning to attack me from behind,It seems there's something important under this cliff," Xiao Ning said, amused.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she replied, putting away the powder.

"Since you won't tell me, I'll go down and see for myself," Xiao Ning said, pretending to descend the cliff.

"Wait!" she called out, anxious.

"If I tell you, we'll have to share the benefits."

"Deal," Xiao Ning agreed, not intending to keep the treasure for himself.

He believed in maintaining some ethics, especially since the discovery was hers.

Besides, forming a friendship with the Medical Fairy could be beneficial.

She reluctantly revealed, "I found a hidden cave behind a strange tree while collecting herbs,It seems to have been left by a powerful predecessor, but I haven't been inside."

"You just wanted to go in, didn't you?" Xiao Ning asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, but the cliff is too steep, and I can't get in," she admitted.

"I've shared this secret with you,don't try to keep it all for yourself, or I won't let you get away with it. Although I'm not as strong as you, you're only at the Fighter level, which isn't very strong in Qingshan Town!"

Xiao Ning smiled at her serious expression.

"Shall we go down now?" he asked.

"I can't stay out too long, or the others might notice,Mu Li from the Wolf Head Mercenary Group is watching me,If he finds out I'm missing it'll be trouble."

"It doesn't matter,If anyone hinders my treasure hunt, I'll deal with them," Xiao Ning said confidently.

She looked at him skeptically, trying to determine if he was bluffing.

"Okay, enough talk,let's go," Xiao Ning said, wrapping an arm around her waist and jumping off the cliff.

She screamed, clinging tightly to him as they descended.

Using his feet to tap against the cliff wall, Xiao Ning slowed their descent until they were suspended mid-air. "Can you see the cave?" he asked.

After a moment, she pointed.

"It should be there."

"Hold tight," Xiao Ning instructed.

She hesitated but then held him tightly as he kicked off the wall again, swinging toward the cave. Her face buried in his chest as she dared not to move.

With each tap of his feet, they got closer to the cave.
