THE TRUTH

The police couldn't find Mr Jude, I was not surprised when mom said she he was the one Mr Stones was hiding. What surprised me was the call I got from Mrs Michael asking to see me.

I haven't seen her since the incident, she sound troubled. Meeting her won't cost me much so I will be meeting her this evening. We were able to track down the location where Mr Jude stores and keeps most of his drugs. We will be checking it out tonight.

"Sis are you getting ready for tonight" Lisa asked after coming out from dad's study room.

"You bet I am"

"Sis can I ask you something" she asked with a troubled face.

"Sure, what's wrong"

"Nothing much but don't you think we should let Mr Stones and all his group be judged by the law"She said, surprising me.

"What? Lisa we have been training for this, we gave away our lives to see to this, beside what could the police do? When your parents and my grandparents died they closed the case down few days after their death without investigating to know what really happened"

"I know, I just want us to start living a better life" she said with a sigh

"Okay I will consider it "

As much as I hate to admit it, Lisa is right is time the police get involved in this so grandma and grandpa's case will be reopened.

"I need to go see Elsa, when I get back we talk more about this with everyone involved, okay" I told her.

"Okay sis, do you want me to come with you?" She asked with a smile

"Sure I really need the company" I said as we both headed out.

When we got to the hotel Elsa was already waiting for us.

"Hi Elsa" I said

"Hello Mrs Michael" Lisa also greeted

"Hey, how are you both doing" she asked

"We are fine" Lisa answered her

"Bella how is your injury?"

"Am getting better"

"Thank you for saving my life I really appreciate, and am sorry I never get to say this on time"

"Is nothing, I was just doing my job. So you wanted to talk to me about something"

"Yes is about the the man that got you injured, what he said is giving me sleepless night"

"What did he say?" I asked her confused

"About his missing wife, he was right the lady once worked for my husband I remembered vividly but at a time I stopped seeing her when I asked my husband about her, he said she quit since she was newly married and that she said she wanted to focus on her husband, but few days after that she was reported missing"

"Elsa I hate to tell you this but I think your husband knows what happened to his Secretary, there are a lot I can't say right now because you won't believe me"

"What? I want to know everything, please Bella my life is in danger, after your incident I got attacked on my way to pick my son up. Bella my life and that of my son and husband might be in danger, my husband have literally turned me into a housewife since the last incident" she said looking so scared.

"Sis, you have to tell her the truth" Lisa said

"Tell me the truth about what?" she asked all curious

"About your husband Elsa" I told her to see her reaction.

"Okay, what about him?" She asked looking more tensed than she already was.

"Your husband is not who you think he is, he is not just a business man he makes people believe to be. He is into human trafficking Elsa, and am thinking he knows what happened to his Secretary and not just that, he works for Mr Stones who we all know as one of the most successful business man, but he is an underworld master and your husband works for him until recent" she was staring at me like I have two head

"Is not possible, how dare you say that about my husband, what prove do you have?" She said

"Because I know, you know within yourself that what am saying is true, if you want prove is in your house waiting for you but don't confront your husband, you are not safe with him, am not saying this because he will harm you he might not but Mr Stones will"

"He promised he was going to change when I got pregnant of my son, he was ones a drug dealer but he changed or was I deceiving myself all this while" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Elsa crying won't solve anything" I said trying to calm her down

"But I trusted him"

"You should be more worried about your safety and that of your son, your husband is hiding something from Mr Stones and Mr Stones does not take nonsense form anybody. He can decide to use you or your son as your husband's weakness"

"What should I do, my husband won't let me take my son away without giving a reason"

"Then take him to your parent am sure they won't mind or you can talk to your husband's new Secretary she will help you, she is my family and will help you any time" I said to her

"Thank you Bella, but I need time to myself"

"Hey, take it easy, just know you can call me whenever you need me. We need to go and am sorry you have to find out this way" I said to her before Lisa and I left.

"Are we supposed to leave her like that like she looks terrible"

"She needs to know the truth, let's hope she will put herself together and accept the truth"
