HER RETURN

"Sweetie, mommy is going to work and will not be coming back for a while okay "she said to me as I cuddled my small teddy bear and answered.

"Okay"

"Remember sweetie mommy loves and will never leave you no matter what, I will come back soon and don't forget to do what ever nanny Ann ask you to do okay "

"Yes mommy "she pecked me before I washed her go, away from my life and she never came back.

I waked up with the sound of thunder it was pouring heavily outside, that face it has been long I last saw her in my dreams why now.

Well that should not be my problem now after all she left me with her abusive husband.

I checked the time and it was three in the morning, I decided to get off the bed and walk around under the rain to see if I will clear my mind a little.

She left and never even ask of me, I hate to say this but I hate her more than I do to her husband. Am glad that tonights nightmare was not filled with blood.

I decided to just do my jogging under the rain. After running for hours I decided to go and have a nice hot bath because I was drenched by the rain to the extent that it felt like a beaten, I was already freezing from the cold thank God jack will handle the new members with the help of other teams why we will focus on Mr stones.

When I got downstairs everybody was already seated ready to have their breakfast.

"Sis you don't look too good " Lisa said when she noticed I was not touching my food at all

"What's wrong are you okay " she asked again

"Am fine Lisa, I just don't have the appetite "I said given her a small smile even though I noticed that my body was burning up after staying in the rain for too long, I think I caught a fever but that is not going to stand in the way of our plans today. I begin to force the food down my throat just to make everyone less worried.

Uncle was unnecessary quiet and is looking strange.

"Bella I want to talk to you immediately after the breakfast "uncle said as he continued eating.

Soon he got up and left and I followed him.

"You wanted to talk to me about something "I asked immediately we entered his study room.

"Yes, please seat down " he said as we both get seated.

"Bella if you were to see your mom what will be your reaction "he asked as he left me surprised by that question.

"I don't understand "I replied because I was really confused.

"Bella I saw your mom as I was going to Mr stone's office, I don't know what she came to do but she was crying when I saw her " he said leaving me in another state of confusion and shock.

"What it can't be, she left, how come she is back now, why now" I asked looking so frustrated.

"You really want to know what my reaction will be then wait until I see her " I said as my face darkened. But then realization hit me , how did uncle know my mom.

"How come you know my mom" I asked looking at him very suspiciously.

"Come on Bella, this is 21st century there is a lot of technology everywhere that gives us information on anybody we want to know about " he said casually . But I did not buy that he looks like he is also affected by my mother's return or perhaps seeing her.

"Is there something you are not telling me " I asked looking at him closely, trying to see if I can read him but that was not working for me today because other days it was so simple.

Instead of answering me, he smiled and remained quiet for sometime before saying.

"I heard a little conversation with your mom and she told me she came down to town for a business apparently she is now Mr Michael's business partner "

I felt my head spinning and I was lost for some minutes in my thought.

I can't face her that will be like opening another page I have lost forgotten in my life.

"Bella are you okay " uncle asked bringing me back from my thought.

"Am fine, but is not like she is going to recognize me she left when I was just a girl " I said still trying not to believe I have to see the face of the woman that abandoned me when I was just a child, not just ones will I see her but everyday since she will be staying at Mr Michael's Mansion

"No woman will forget her child easily Bella " uncle said

"But not the one who left a helpless child in the hands of her abusive husband and never cared to ask of her "I said with anger boiling inside me.

"I don't care if she is back or not, I have put my whole life in this mission and nobody is going to stand in my way" I said before exiting the room.

I can't believe this is seriously happening why now, why did she has to come back now am so Messed up.

I just hope she will not try to get in my way because to me she is dead.

I thought as I felt the pain I went through when am always at the door waiting day after day but she never came but she promised and never came.

And whenever her husband make me sleep in the garage or lock me up in a room with no food or water.

I waited and when grandma and grandpa died she never came I thought as I let myself drown in the past.
