Everyone looked a little embarrassed and terrified seeing that their real motives got out pretty fast. They had no idea what the masked man would do to them in retaliation.
"Huge space stations will soon be put out in the orbital system of Earth so we will need some people to salvage the wreckages that the humanity has left behind over the years in the orbit before North Korea can put up a functioning space stations with space elevators to it. You guys can take the contract of tidying up our space." Robin suggested. He was in the Origin 890 when he noticed that one or two small pieces of the wreckage had struck their ship. The wreckage was really too much in space.
Though it could never even put a mark in the ship because of Origin's invisible shield that could even endure continuous laser blasts , seeing that the satellites wreckage had filled the area made Robin think.
Although North Korea lacked the time to handle all of these minor details, since the CEOs had given their services on a silver platter, why not take advantage of them. Money was the least thing North Korea was bothered about and people from around the world could come and jointly take care of Earth.
Tesla and other's corporations immediately woke up realizing Robin didn't mind their aspirations and even offered them a help. Even payment would be provided for this. Was there anything positive happening now?
"Tesla is willing to take up the contract."
"Tata is unquestionably open to accepting the contract."
"We will do in much lesser amount than the others."
"..."
"Guys, calm down. Earth's orbit is enormous. You will need people who would be ready to do a grueling boring of salvaging the wreckage. You'll need individuals who are willing to fly large spacecraft in orbit, men who can recover the wreckage, and even men who can scan properly. Multi-crew mission, that is. Finding the right people will be your responsibility as the ships are prepared. You have 1 week to find them and send them over. Each company will be given a sector, which the administration will assign in space. More sectors will be available to you as you complete the work more quickly. However, keep in mind that you must maintain cleanliness." Robin said. Each and every firm seemed eager and felt that they would almost be ready to take this mission which had nothing but money.
In fact the wreckage in space may be sold back or reused. These were pricey materials and might be utilized to produce other items. It resulted in mutual benefit.
"But some of you definitely need to revamp your ethics and practices. Amazon, Apple both of you have quite the bad reputation around the world. My apathy for Communism doesn't mean that Capitalism is all flowers and roses. You all have evaded legal difficulties since you outsourced your work and made your hands guilt free. However, it was your choice of outsourcing businesses that led to the most abuse of the population at large. Your cost-cutting has caused severe households to experience fatalities and depression."
The CEOs were brought back to reality by those statements. They were reminded of the person they were speaking to. Both Apple and Amazon were quaking in their seats and looking around nervously, as if an unseen military would suddenly arrive and shoot them. Never in their lives had they felt such vulnerability.
"We.. We will monitor our outsourcing firms to ensure that no one is being taken advantage of, starting at the bottom of the food chain." Apple spoke while almost stumbling upon his words but simultaneously striving to speak swiftly. He felt like he was in some kind of race. Before speaking, Robin gave the CEO a glare in the eyes.
"This is your final opportunity. Inform the world's leaders as well as other businesses. I need quick action, or else I'll take the necessary steps before you can even type a letter of termination for your staff."
"Yes.. Yes sir. We.. We understand." stated Amazon. Robin then disconnected the call.
"JARVIS." Robin said.
"At your service, sir."
"Watch out for them. Are the lists of rapists, pedophiles and home abusers ready?" Robin enquired.
"Will do sir. Miss Sigret is taking care of the lists. She will send them once the world leaders return to their native countries." said JARVIS.
"Good. Inform all nations that the age of consent will be raised to 18 worldwide." Robin said.
"Understood sir."
"Hmm.." Robin said he got out of the study room and got back to the cockpit where the girls were busy gossiping about the beautiful bright Earth they were seeing as the ship was slowly flying around.
Cathrin hopped over to Robin as he returned and inquired.
"Hun, the pilot said that we can go to any where in the solar system and even to other systems. We want to see Saturn's rings. Can we go?"
"Sure, why not." Robin said as he gestured to the pilots to pilot the ship towards the Rings. The ship's turn and distance calculations occupied the pilots' attention.
A quick calculation later, the ship was prepared to travel a great distance.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we will be entering into Quantum Travel. There will be a slight jerk while we get into maximum speed." Without more notice, the ship accelerated to its top speed, and its surroundings changed.
The bright empty space got replaced with beautiful colors going past them in full speed. It was like being in some of rainbow road.
"This is gorgeous."
"Amazing."
"Robin, this is a Bifrost." Sauvik remarked after noticing the colors. It was actually Robin's first time, and he too was enthralled by the hues. He had witnessed quantum travel in game, but experiencing it in the flesh was another story. Quantum Travel requires something called Quantum drive which needed both Quantum fuel and hydrogen. The reason why he wasn't really worried about the general public getting their hands in the ships was because of the Quantum fuel.
Even if they broke apart the whole ship piece by piece, at the end of the day to go for long distance voyage they would need Quantum fuel, which in turn came from Quantanium. The only way to obtain this mineral, which was unique to Star Citizen, was through mining in outer space and on other planets.
So in a way for long travels, the Quantum drive technology would be always be in the pocket of North Korea and the country would virtually be the sole oil field for space travel until Robin decides to bring ships that could travel longer distances.
Star Citizen had the most earth like technology that he could use at the moment till he gets to better technology. The ship traveled and the pilots soon declared that they would need 5 hours to reach the destination so they could go around and have fun in the ship.
"5 hours? I anticipated it would take a short while." Rita complained
"Quantum travel 20% of light speed. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that much." Robin stated.
"Then, it would take days to reach other star systems."
"Hahaha. When they said we can travel it meant that we will be able to reach but it could take a month or around the same time if we want to reach the nearest system. You really believed that using this technology it would be so simple?" Robin stated.
"But then how will we go to other planets if we take that much time?" It was Cathrin who asked. Robin had spoken easily about traveling to other systems so they had quite the dreams. The other space hostesses were attentively listening to the dialogue and actively hearing what they were saying.
Other star systems? Like in another solar system? Holy moly.
"Who said we have only this space ship? Until Earth is ready, these ships will only be used by common people to travel around. We'll board speedier vessels. Faster than the speed of light." Robin assured. This made everyone excited and happy.
They then started having fun inside the ship. Origin 890 contained spa rooms with exclusive steam rooms and even a swimming pool at the lower floor. Cathrin and Rita didn't take much time to get themselves to the spa along with the space hostesses.
They initially refused, arguing that it would be unethical given their employment, but Rita persisted. In the kitchen, Robin and Sauvik were working hard. Sauvik knew how to cook and was quite a good one so robin decided to help him make some food. The kitchen was top notch and both of them got to work.
"You will need to hire chef for long distance."
"Sigret and Myrene would do that work for us." Robin replied.
"You will need some help cleaning the ship, I suppose." Sauvik said. Robin recognized Sauvik's meaning. They would need more crew members if they wished to travel in elegance.
