There was a reason Robin had spared their lives and also revealed his existence to them. It was true that Sigret and JARVIS had all of the current information on the members of the powerful families, including their bank accounts, legal or otherwise, and other pertinent details, but the problem was that these families were old money, and JARVIS had predicted that there might be more hidden than what was visible on the surface.
This was especially true given that these families had actively stopped the archaeology department for some reason. This was strange. For generations, these families had ensured that no one went any further into the pyramids or the Sahara desert.
Even when the archaeology department proposed exploring the Amazon, these people actively tried to stop them. Only in the 2010s did they halt this process and allow anyone to visit the ancient sites and do indepth research. Before people were allowed to go but never allowed the full freedom
JARVIS predicted that there was a 57% chance that the old families had been looking for something for a long time and had only recently discovered what they were looking for. Actually, that was the only plausible explanation; otherwise, why would such old and powerful families halt a global department?
There had to be something these families were keeping hidden, and the amazing thing was that nothing of the sort had come up in the online chats, phone calls, or related discussions near any electronics. This meant that the families were wary of the situation.
So they needed men who could provide more information from within those old families. The new drug will not only make LabCorp money, but it will also put Buckley and Frayer in a good position. This would result in increased interaction with those family members.
Of course, Robin could simply go in and force them to spill their secrets, but he didn't want to do so because some mice might escape. North Korea was still not ready, and he would wait until these families saw genuine despair. All he had now was time, which he could spend however he pleased.
The 17th of March, 2023.
America had another eventful day today. On the borders, 50 more men were hanged. They were hanged in the same manner as before. The only difference was that these 50 men were brought from various parts of America, and they were all murderers and drug dealers. They were facing a number of charges, but due to a lack of evidence, the law released them.
Today, however, these 50 men were hanged in the borders for all to see. Despite the fact that both states were on high alert and under surveillance, these men were still hanged with no witnesses to how they were brought.
Even their kidnappings occurred in front of police and government officials, with no footage or evidence recovered. Of course, these were just preliminary findings, and police would continue to investigate, but it was clear that whoever hanged these people were the same people who had previously murdered 1000 men.

Frayer couldn't sleep all night. He took his wife to a new doctor to have her diagnosed. His wife was fine, according to the doctor, and it was only old age that was catching up with her. Frayer almost passed out in his spot as a result of it. Robin's words were still ringing in his ears.
Whatever he said was correct.
Of course, that wasn't the only issue at the time. His wife would no longer even look at him. He had cheated on his wife several times, but he still loved her. But she wasn't prepared to hear anything from Frayer.
Buckley had left once she had returned from the doctor. He was honest about everything that had happened during her unconsciousness, so she had a general idea. She was terrified of Robin, but she despised her husband even more.
"Are you watching TV, Buddy?" Buckley inquired as Frayer sipped his coffee on the phone.
"No? What occurred?" Frayer inquired.
"Open the news channel. You will know." Buckley then hung up. Frayer became perplexed and switched to the news channel. His gaze was soon drawn to the headlines. Seeing another 50 men killed in the desert meant that whatever had happened the night before was real, and Robin had simply flexed his power in front of him.
A reminder of who he now belonged to.

"This should be enough to make people afraid of drugs." As she gazed at the television, Myrene said. Sigret had asked the Brotherhood soldiers to kidnap a few men from all over the country who had been charged with serious crimes and had a history of drug dealing. Only those who were free were apprehended and killed.
After killing over 1000 men, the drug had already dropped to its lowest level in 20 years, but that wasn't enough. Sigret desired to instil fear in the people of the world. As a result of Robin's approval, those 50 men were killed and returned to the desert.
"Hope so. But we will need more time. America isn't the only country suffering. We will have to start the operation in those places too." Sigret said.

Diana was going through a difficult period in her life. She was an intern at Labcorp, and she was having one of those nightmare lives that only interns can have. A new drug had just arrived at the lab, and this new drug had made her insane.
She was trying to figure out how someone could make the drug's ingredient chemically. And she was apparently supposed to submit an essay on this in three days. She was burning the midnight oil right now, going through the compounds one more time to see if there were any ways to make them artificially.
Her boyfriend then approached her from behind and hugged her.
"Come to bed, babe. You've been working way too hard " said the boyfriend.
"Not right now, honey. I'm very busy." Diana replied, not bothering to hug her boyfriend back and instead staring at the pages. He was a little down and just happened to glance at the pages she was working on.
"Why are you researching berries?" Her boyfriend inquired.
"Huh? What exactly do you mean?" Diana was perplexed by the inquiry about her boyfriend.
"These compounds... These things can only be found in berries. Well, except for the last one," her boyfriend explained. Her boyfriend, like Diana, was highly educated and worked in Cargill labs. Cargill was one of the world's largest food companies, specialising in raw vegetables and fruits. He was working in the fruits department, looking for ways to improve fruit production by incorporating new processes to produce higher-quality fruits.
"What?" Diana almost jumped up and asked her boyfriend again.
"Yeah. Why? Is it significant? I thought you worked for Labcorp. What's the deal with the berry thing?" The boyfriend inquired. The only reaction he received was a kiss from her.
"What exactly is going on?" Her boyfriend was even more perplexed now. Diana then went on to explain the new drug they had been testing and the difficulties they had encountered with it.
"I understand, but the amount of compounds in the tablet differs greatly from what I've seen in berries. Even if we leave out the last compound, the ratio of compounds in the tablet is significantly different from that of normal berries. In fact, based on the papers, I can say that the current varieties known to mankind do not contain those berries " said the boyfriend.
"It makes no difference. I need to finish my essay, and you've just given me a way out. Thank you incredibly much." Diana continued kissing her boyfriend. Of course, her hand slowly drifted towards his pants after the kiss.
He just solved her greatest problem, so obviously she was going to award him!

March 20, 2023
Buckley and Frayer were called back by the head researcher. Though Robin remained the majority shareholder, the head researcher was closer to Buckley and Frayer. Another reason he was secretly researching the medicine.
"I discovered what the main ingredient in the medicine is," said the lead researcher. Frayer and Buckley exchanged glances and gulped down their throats. These two appeared fatigued and as if they hadn't slept or eaten well in the previous days.
"What exactly is it?" Frayer inquired.
"It's made of berries. Berries are the main ingredient in the recipe. But we have no idea what kind of berries these are. The berries must be extremely rare, and if we can obtain them, we can try making the medicine ourselves." said the lead researcher. He was really proud of the intern who had discovered it.
"Thank you, Dr. Watson. But please don't talk about it, and anyone who knows about it must sign a confidentiality agreement with the company so that the secret is never revealed." Buckley explained. He wasn't particularly happy that the company has just discovered the main ingredient.
This meant he would have to deal with Robin again. That monster.
