Shi Wenyang and Han Ganxing faced each other, both red-faced and silent. They didn't notice that their eating pattern was becoming more synchronized by the second.
Seeing this, both Shi Caiqing and Han Liqi smirked.
After the meal, Han Ganxing immediately stood up to leave the room, desperate to get away from Shi Wenyang. He had just accomplished a gargantuan task and did not have the capability to talk to her.
Just before he could exit, Shi Wenyang grabbed his wrist. She pulled him towards his room, much to Han Ganxing's embarrassment.
She shut the door, leaving the two of them inside. They felt like the temperature around them rose all of a sudden.
"Er, Ganxing..." Shi Wenyang bit her lip, forcing herself to speak.
Han Ganxing heard beeps coming from the interface, presumably from her affection rising, but he couldn't bother to check it out now. He was too preoccupied holding back his smile.
"Uh, hehe... What do you mean by giving me this?" Shi Wenyang had a hypothesis in her mind, but she wanted to hear it from Han Ganxing directly.
"It's, well... Um, I don't really know."
"Eh, don't give me that reason."
With a deep breath, Han Ganxing prepared himself. "...Wenwen, it's, uh, because you like it, right? So, I gave you one..."
Shi Wenyang chuckled quietly. She had never seen him so awkward before. "Well, thank you. I'm flattered..."
Han Ganxing glanced at her affection bar.

Erm, you were very flattered, huh...
After that exchange, the two of them exited the room, silence prevailing over them.

Han Ganxing struck the bamboo stick against his father for the nth time, using all of his cultivation against his opponent.
