My eyes fluttered open as all the poison degraded and the wounds healed and I saw Anneliese, who was also awake, then stretched my arm and held her's.

The moment she got out, we hugged.

I told her of how worried I was and she cried in my arms till we realized,"Where are the kids?!"

The ice melted and Nicky fell flat on her face, the moment she awoke, but Ricky, Micky Catherine, Alek and Jessica were able to use their respective lights to descend slowly.

They looked to their side then yelled their various ways of calling Anneliese and me as we rushed in to them.

Maame finished healing Apollo in the midst of the bodies of the merman and the nymphs and begged him to wake up, then kissed him gently, then he said,"Why don't you try it again, sleeping handsome's taking a short cat nap."

She slapped him across the face furiously then he yelled as he sat up, then she hugged him tightly.

When they got back to the palace, or at least what was left of it, Apollo, Lilith and Jessica ran to Anneliese and me and we hugged them till Lilith hit Apollo because he hugged me the wrong way, then he hit her back for hitting him, and in a few seconds, there was the promise of a duel between them...right after their groundation was completed.

I then turned to the chief, who was busily coughing out blood, then stormed to him and lifted him by the collar as he chuckled then asked,"You think this is the end? This is only the beginning, Khala Wathamba shall rise again from the ashes, whether you like it or..."

I stopped him from spitting blood on my face by giving him a knockout knuckle sandwich then ran to Indigo, who was helping my traumatized mother slowly walk to the rest of us.

I asked her what was wrong then she said,"I saw Alex..."

"For the literal tenth time, no I haven't."Maame said,"Whoever this guy is, he must be good enough at hiding to throw even my water vision off or must be a ghost."

"Of course he's good, he was on level eight hundred and something."Alexa said.

"Eight hundred and fifty six..."I said,"...mother, are you sure you saw him?"

"Yes, I know what I saw."She said.

"I saw him too."Indigo said.

I sighed then walked away to get some alone time by the window, what could this mean?

At that moment, in an MMA arena, a person walked through a crowd as his facial proportions changed and his features changed more to those of a normal human.

He got to the man in charge then asked,"Hey, I just wanted to know how I could get in there."

The man looked him up and down then said,"A good looking guy like you shouldn't be ruining his appearance with scars."

Alexa frowned to himself, he had just removed his mutations, not his face.

He just sighed then said,"I think I can handle it."

The man shrugged then made a call and a young woman walked to him the the man said she'd lead him into the men's locker room.

He followed her into the place and went to change, of course he had to control the man's mind, what about the entrance fee?

By the time he was to get into the ring, he could already sense the people talking about himself, especially the women.

He knew he used to love it when women were ogling over him, but now it just made him feel self conscious.

He got into the ring the faced his opponent who was a tall, dark skinned man with tattoos all over his arms.

He was very muscular, with his large arms and chest and thick thighs, though his abs weren't the best.

The man grinned as he looked at Alex's physique and features then Alex frowned till the match began.

The man ran at Alex then threw a cross at him, which he dodged, then the man made a right hook to his side.

Alex sensed it in time but for some reason, he didn't react.

The man landed it and he was distracted till he received an uppercut to his unprotected head.

He stumbled backwards then was side kicked in the belly and the man started ramming Alex's head into his knee, several times.

Alex fell on one knee and didn't know why he was holding back on this man, then the man gave him an elbow hold and started ramming his free elbow into Alex's face, then said,"You shouldn't have come here, pretty boy, this place is for dogs..."

Alex was struggling, but couldn't think as his own blood was drowning him.

The ladies were begging him not to tap out and that was the main reason he did.

Alex was removing the tape from his hands after the match when the official came and dropped a bunch of money beside him and said,"Thanks for trying, oh and I didn't see anyone who looks like you, where are your family?"

Alex evaporated a tear from his eye before it could fall and couldn't look at the man's face.

The man shrugged, patted his back, then said,"Happy Independence day."

Then he walked away then a tear escaped Alex's eye and the neon blue drop of water fell to the bench, followed by another, then Alex burst into tears.

It was Alex's birthday and he could hardly recognize any of us, we had all grown do much, with new members also along, he had missed so much, but was ready to make it right...
