TRIAL BEAST

There was a squishing crunch as I bit into the sandwich in my grasp then looked to my right and frowned as literally everyone not from my multiverse was staring at my lunch in awe.

"Our entire multiverse is named after this, get over it!"I spat.

They all just continued eating their food made out of every material which was considered inedible by mankind then I realized how happy Jonita and Toyora were together and I was wondering if Jonita was just doing this so he'd stay with us or did she really have love at first bite...or maybe he was controlling her to do this, it could be any, there are infinite possibilities in a single multiverse.

When I was done eating, I realized Alexa hadn't touched her food at all, staring into nothingness, I then asked,"Are you going to finish that or you're just going to stare at infinity and beyond?"

She snapped back into reality then said,"I'm sorry...you can have it."

I sat down beside her then took a bite then savoured the moment and said,"It tastes awesome, you do not want to miss this, one bite, just for me?"

She slowly cracked her lips open then took a bite then forced a smile, then I asked,"Big little sis, what's wrong?"

"Oh, my emotions and selfish desires are nothing compared to the greater good of protecting the entire multiverse's interests and reconnecting it to its roots."She said.

"But your emotions and selfish desires are very important to me, much more than that of the entire multiverse, you were the one who dragged me on this wild goose chase."

She sighed then asked,"Is it okay for me to miss everyone?"

I smiled then said,"Of course it is, why do you think otherwise?"

"It's not that, but, I feel like a terrible mother and wife, I miss Curtis, too much, every night, I just want him to hold me and keep me warm, I don't want any other woman near to him and I just feel paranoid that he might...cheat on me."

"Curtis may be a lot of things... including a playboy, but one thing is certain, he will never cheat on you Alexa."

I kissed her forehead.

"Is that some kind of mating ritual?"Yokkan asked.

"What?! Why are you so basic?! They're siblings!"Dollovan yelled.

"They sure don't act like it."

"Boss, they're both married."

"What does married mean?"

"Sadly..."Dollovan said,"...something you'd never successfully achieve."

There were several scantily clad women dancing in a club, with three enticing a handsome man, touching his body allover.

Curtis, who was sitting opposite his old friend, with all the girls eyeing him, but none able to come close for the fear of losing a limb, asked,"Chan Ho, what do you need from me?"

The man leaned forward then kissed a woman straight on the lips and said,"I want you, to just have fun, I miss the old times, we used to go from bar to bar, leaving a trail of broken hearts behind us, now...look at you, rigid as a rock."

"I'm starting to think the word commitment is still far above the reach of your intellect, I'm married."

The man laughed then said,"You and your jokes."

"I'm serious, something you cannot completely achieve."

"Come on, just for old time's sake, just take one girl, you'll enjoy it, especially since that your wife's never coming back."

Curtis darted forward and lifted the man into the air by the collar as the women screamed and ran away then said in a low tone,"If you dare utter another disrespectful comment like that from your multicoloured lips about my wife, I will make sure to separate your life and your precious manhood from your body in the most painful manner possible and not in that order."

The man then asked,"You think just because you're living in that mansion with those snotty people, you're better than me? Just remember all you used to do, if anything, you're worse."

Curtis frowned then dropped him and walked through an open portal and the man took a puff from a cigarette, then signalled for the women to come back.

They all put their armament down, then slowly modelled back to him.

I looked at the world before me over the aerafirma, as I called those fantasy movie like floating islands with everlasting waterfalls with no described source cascading over their edges.

Alexa came closer then I squeezed her to myself then Yokkan frowned at Dollovan, who rolled his eyes then ran over the edge, making a slide of ice below him.

We all got down using our crystals and or or original abilities then the moment I landed, I felt a surge of information flow into my mind then opened my eyes then pointed towards the rising suns then said,"Your opposite is over there Jonita."

She nodded as we all vanished in a poof of vapour.

"Electro skiffer, activate Black zap."A young human man said.

A black coloured and scaly creature on the floor got into a defensive cat stance as electricity started zapping from allover its body, then a bolt of lightning shot forward and immediately disappeared as huge plumes of gamma radiation were shot at the creature against it.

The creature screeched in pain as the Electro skiffer activated an electric fence around the snake like creature, zapping it even further, then it fell through the ionized bars to the floor, unable to move anymore.

The man opposite him was shocked and ran towards his Slither skythe then asked in Swedish,"But how? How could a puny little Electro skiffer win my strongest Trial beast?"

"The same way my puny little Electro skiffer won against everyone else's strongest Trial beasts, now pay up."The young man said.

The man got angry then stood up, towering over the young man, then said,"Give me that level one creature if you don't want to get hurt."

"Give me my money if you don't want to get hurt."The young man said.

The older man scoffed till he continued,"By my Electro skiffer."

The older man took a step back, then dropped a palm sized card on the floor before the young man, then stomped on it hard, cracking it, then said,"Sorry."

"Back at you."

The man yelled when bolts of lightning formed all around him and burned through his skin even more than normal electricity of that voltage would.

The young man then said,"Skiff? Could you do me a favour?"

The creature sqawed then electric arcs formed around the card as it mended itself, then it shone with a number with two zeros behind it.

The young man picked it up then walked over the older man and away.
