THE WAR I

People were screaming and running away from the marching army which had a nine foot tall, bat winged, gorilla like monster leading them.

The monster swiped its huge arms and ice started creeping on the ground by at least twelve meters per second then started growing into huge blocks which went and broke down five houses and trapped several people in the rubble.

The people screamed then calmed down as their eyes glowed red and the debris started floating away.

They hissed and also started attacking other people.

There was a bang as several bullets were fired at the monster from the cops but they floated in thin air as the monster darted its blood red eyes at them.

The soldiers continued firing but all the bullets stopped dead at a certain distance then shot back at them.

Many of them fell backwards as they were shot but the other's sought cover behind the huge tanks which were moving into position.

The tanks fired but the monster roared and a powerful wind blew towards them, flipping them over, throwing the men into the air and deflecting the ammo.

The wind blew the roofs off several buildings and went on to flip several cars several feet into the air.

The rest of the army kept marching on as the monster ran on its four limbs, jumped several feet into the air and landed, making a huge violet and blue flame which melted all the metal and concrete in a kilometer radius, before turning green and dissipating.

A woman who was searching for her baby finally caught it and ran into a room but the fire melted the walls and went forward to her then she screamed...

The woman screamed in tears as her baby which was born just two days ago was going to die by fire, but something happened.

The fire came forward alright, but it spread when it got to her, making a wall of lava hot green flames to each side.

She saw a silhouette in front of her and when the flames were gone, she saw a man, who said without looking at her,"Run as fast as you can."

She nodded then ran away.

The wall of ice melted and my dad walked forward, his eyes glowing.

Several of the people in the army charged at him at the same time then he ran at them.

He ran then did a b aerial and water made an arc right before splashing and breaking through the force field one of them made and still knocking him unconscious.

He then kicked a woman at his side then used his forearm to block an attack by a man then punched him in the gut, he then did a standing split to kick the same man in the face.

He elbowed someone to his side then palm stroked him in the chest, sending him flying a meter back and knocking down five of the people running to him.

He wasn't using his light much because he didn't want to hurt the innocent people, but he still wanted them out of his way...

He jumped and double spin kicked someone, first in the ribs, then on the cheek, then threw his fist at someone.

The person blocked in fear then looked back after no impact came on him then saw my dad's fist had stopped an inch away, right before he round housed the man.

A lot more people were coming around him then he did an air flare and a strong whirl wind started blowing round, pushing back the people and even carrying some of them.

He then did a kip up and the wind exploded and blew them several meters back, then he turned his attention to the general, with a deadly look on his face.

The general was clapping mildly, then said,"Wonderful, you really have fire in you, don't you? That's the exact kind of fire we need in my army, Adrian..."

Before he could finish, my dad had lifted him two feet into the air by the neck.

Cracking sounds were heard as the general's bones were slowly distorting under the pressure.

My dad said,"Give me one reason I shouldn't snap your sorry neck right now."

The general struggled to say,"Because... i-i-if y- you do, th-the monster will kill everyone."

My dad's frown went even deeper and he was about to end it when he sensed something moving to him, fast.

He knew what it was and had ample time to dodge but when he looked at the monster, his gaze softened, and his eyes stopped glowing...

The monster hit him with the back of its hand but he did a back handspring to regain his balance. He was already exhausted from letting his emotions take control for so long, he barely had any fight left in him.

The monster gently but the general down, who was massaging his neck. The general shot a deadly stare from his eyes as he said,"Kill him."

The monster roared then charged at him.

My dad stood his ground then did a back flip several feet into the air and landed on the roof of the building, making the monster crash into the walls due to its own inertia.

My dad leaped off the building and grabbed a streetlight to swing off it but mid air, he was caught by a whirl wind and thrown down.

He slowly got up but the monster was already next to him then it headbutted him in the chest.

He yelled in pain as he fell and rolled backwards for several meters and knew he had broken some ribs and didn't have time to heal them.

He looked up but the monster was too close again, so he made a rod of ice and used it to block the monster's teeth as it wanted to bite his head off.

He held the monster the best he could, using his last energy to strengthen his arms and the monster kept biting the ice, which he kept refreezing.

The monster's corrosive saliva was dropping on the ground to his sides and its breath was getting hotter as a violet flame was appearing at the back of his throat.

He yelled and kicked it back with both of his legs, using the last of his energy, he couldn't do anything else.

The monster didn't go far, but it wanted to eat this man a lot more.

The fire in its mouth grew more then it blew it out at my dad...

The violet and blue flames went to him and he took his last breath, but the fire didn't burn him.

He looked to see five Monster Hunters who had been deployed.

He didn't know whether to be happy this was going to be over or worried about what they'd do to his son, but he fainted.

He opened his eyes a second later to see a man healing him and replenishing his energy.

He sat up and the person asked,"Commander, what's the plan?"

He hadn't thought about his position in a while as he hadn't been in the field because of his new children.

He had to think of a plan, fast.

He knew the monster was the super weapon and their most important asset, so said,"You and I will lead the monster as far away from here as possible, the rest of you, stop the army."

They all saluted at him, he couldn't help but feel good.

The monster looked at him, with rage in his eyes then he smirked and ran the other way.

It naturally chased him and jumped up a two storey building, landing and cracking the roof.

He ran with the man and flipped off and an osprey made of ice and water formed around him, then he flapped his wings and was airborne.

The man followed suit, turning into a real osprey.

The monster flapped its giant wings as it ran after them then took to the sky.
