THE TEACHER IS STILL THE TEACHER

Due to my unborn brother's Birth Activation, we couldn't allow my mom to get over emotional because that could unconsciously activate her son's lights through her and cause a lot of destruction, plus it could place a huge energy deficiency in her which either she, the baby or both may not survive.

In the passing days as well, Alexa found out the natural process Bertha's lights used to give my son three different lights.

It was a kind of chromosomal mutation called duplication, where with two homologous (side by side and similar) chromosomes, a gene from one was removed and placed right next to its corresponding allele in the other.

This mutation was drastic and there could be other causes like translocation, crossing over and more, but this was what was used by her light and for good reason since this method was the only one which had even the slightest chance of keeping the child from being sterile (infertile) and her light arranged that.

Alexa was taking the assignments from her class one day when she got to Curtis, she asked where his was then he answered,"I didn't do it but the question paper is in the Space between spaces."

"And why is it there if I may ask?"Alexa asked.

He stood up right next to her and the whole class went tense. He then said,"Because I am wasting my time being bossed around by a girl."

There was a class gasp as she continued,"So you're stupid and a sexist, well let's see how good you really are then, Curtis, I challenge you to a duel."

He scoffed then eventually began to laugh till he realized she was serious.

He then asked,"You duel me? Do you have any idea how I've destroyed all the other people who dared challenge me?"

She smirked then said,"The bigger they come, the harder they fall."

He frowned then said,"I accept..."

The day of the duel came but I couldn't make it since I was still under house arrest.

I could still sense everything happening so it wasn't a big problem, the only issue was the fact that my children wanted to stay with me, I was able to convince them to go and watch their aunt in action and they eventually obliged.

The referee was stating the rules while Curtis spun a bo staff in his hands and around his neck while saying,"This is your last chance to run away like the scared little girl you are."

Alexa scoffed then said,"It's funny, I was about to say the same thing."

He frowned then clenched the staff then a small portal swallowed it lengthwise, making about half of it disappear while the other half became as thick as a molecule of lignin with sharp ridges on the edge, leaving just a small part cylindrical which was where he used as the handle.

He then dashed at her then swiped the sharp wooden sword and she dodged.

He swiped it diagonally then she found an opening and caught his wrist and twisted it so he left the sword, then she wrapped her legs around the arm which was still holding the sword and threw him backwards.

He was able to roll back onto his feet but found something missing.

Alexa then asked,"Looking for this?"While holding the sword.

He frowned as she threw it backwards, making it pierce right through the concrete floor then he did a b aerial kick at her head but she caught his leg and threw him but he disappeared into thin air.

He appeared behind her a split second later then pulled her hair, making her fall backwards, but she put her feet on his neck and threw him with the momentum.

He rolled again and she jumped and did a 1040° spin kick but her leg passed right through his annoying face as he smirked.

She knew he teleported in and out of the Space between spaces instantaneously in order to do that but also knew he'd fade back into existence a second later, so launched another kick which hit him in the cheek.

He was thrown to a single knee by the force and looked at her and wiped the saliva from his lip.

He then raised his hands and a huge portal from the Mariana trench opened, letting out enormous volumes of water with enormous pressures.

Alexa back flipped several feet into the air over the portal and reached him then did a triple bicycle kick to his lower arms that he'd used to protect his face.

He then opened his arms abruptly and she did a back butterfly kick to land right in front of the still opened portal.

The water that was gushing out was hitting the force field protecting the spectators at the East side with immense force and he finally closed it.

He then opened a portal to space right below her and she fell through.

Her blood was literally boiling as the low pressure caused the dissolved gases in her blood to phase out to restore equilibrium and she was also suffocating.

Another portal appeared, showing him standing there and asking if she'd had enough.

She held the edge of the portal and threw herself out, double kicking him in the chest in the process.

He fell on his back with her over him and she hit her open palm on his neck hard and he began to suffocate.

She then asked as she got off,"It feels good, doesn't it?"

He stood to his feet and as he was beginning to breathe again, she back kicked him in the head then b aerial kicked him in the chin.

He fell to one knee and propped himself on one hand then looked at her furiously, she smiled then said,"Bring it on."

He ran angrily and threw a punch at her but she caught his fist and kicked him in the ribs while saying,"You're too emotional, you're making yourself vulnerable."

She then palm stroked him in the chest making him take two steps backwards.

He opened a portal and the sword fell through as he yelled,"I don't need instructions from a girl!"

He ran at her and swiped the sword diagonally and she dodged, held his elbow and punched him in the gut right before kicking his knee.

He yelled in pain as she barrel rolled over his back, twisting his arm in the process and she said,"You're light is useless if you don't know how to use it properly."

She then kicked him to the floor and he stood up slowly, still not giving up.

She looked him up and down a split second before he thrusted the sword.

She caught his wrist and palm stroked it so hard that it broke then kneed him in the chest right before throwing him over her shoulders and onto his back, she then said,"You should have saved your energy right before getting up explosively, I would have been less prepared."

He tried to get to his feet again and she kinda felt sorry for him.

His eyes were flickering and she knew she had to keep him down so she kicked him in the chest and told him to stay down.

He then muttered,"Never."

She pulled him and held his arms behind her a moment before they both disappeared, by now, she could tell when he was going to use his light and knew that spontaneous teleportation without the use of portals was not a very precise skill which he probably wouldn't have mastered.

The two of them vanished, starting from her, then him.

They appeared on Snake island (also known as Ilha da Queimada Grande by the locals which, as the name suggests, is an island about 430,000m² in volume and is 33km off the Southeast coast of Brazil and is filled with the endemic Golden Lance head pit viper with hemotoxic venom)she then realized how close he was and pushed him, right before dusting herself.

He looked at her right before she asked,"Now will you do your homework?"

"I have a feeling you didn't do all this just so I'd do my homework."He answered.

"Wow homework, an eight letter word and I thought you were just down to three, bravo."She said.

He frowned till she continued,"I've seen your fighting styles, it needs a lot of work and I want to help you."

"I'm not interested in being trained by a girl."

"But you're interested in getting your butt kicked by one, also, I'm not asking, now take us back."

He looked around at the snakes slithering everywhere then she came and hugged him tightly before saying,"Just in case."

He rolled his eyes.
