THE MATCH I

A crowd cheered wildly as Trevor walked through the caged walkway.

He got into the caged ring and stood at the yellow side of the octagonal ring.

Trevor was wearing his usual training clothes, the silver kick boxing shorts which shimmered in the lights of the arena, he also wore an open black leather hoodie this time, his ripped body shone through the baggy t-shirt he wore underneath.

He also wore his fingerless gloves but not for the usual reason; he had been punching walls and doing handstand push-ups on his fists for years, his fists were harder than rock and he had lost all pain sensation on them, he wore them and tape to protect his opponents from being hurt too badly from his hits.

He never trained by kicking and punching punching bags but rather trees.

Specifically, trees only Lilith could grow which grew at jaw dropping speed but stopped growing taller at a height of about twenty meters so they could instantly repair themselves once they receive the heavy impact of his deadly limbs.

His feet were also deadly weapons, moving at light speed and impacting opponents with force that was known to break two inch thick wooden blocks with calves that were perfectly tuned which showed the hundreds of hours of training he had undergone through the years.

His opponent walked into the ring and had cheers from his fans.

This man had a hundred and eighteen matches under his belt with a hundred and five wins and thirteen losses.

He was a few inches taller than Trevor and had twice his body mass, covered in scars and tattoos, this man looked scary and worried Alexa.

Trevor on the other hand, was known for his great perseverance and resilience, he never gave up, but he rarely needed this skill as he rarely got close to losing.

He had extremely quick feet, reflexes and movements in general, it was hard to get a hit on him in the first place and yet a single hit from him was known to knock out several opponents cold.

He had ninety six matches under his belt and ninety four wins and two losses.

This was a part of the worldwide Mixed Martial Arts Competitions.

It was like a normal MMA competition apart from the fact that it was totally different, for one, all the contestants were at the top of their league, with multiple hundred hours of experience and either total and deadly expertise in a single martial art or knowledge in multiple martial arts.

The ring had a diameter of three and a half meters and there were two corners, named by complementary colours.

The rules were simple, subdue your opponent, in any way necessary that doesn't kill them.

There were twelve rounds and in order to win, a person needed to keep their opponent on the floor for five seconds, or have them submit, in which case they won three matches, but if the opponent totally gives up, all the remaining rounds were given to the victor.

After each round, each participant had five minutes to refresh themselves and rest.

The match was about to begin and Alexa was shaking in her seat.

Trevor didn't know she was here as she wanted to surprise him but seeing his opponent and how calm he was surprised her.

Trevor finally removed his shirt as the bell rang and that was all what the fans were waiting for and a deafening cheer was heard as his perfect physique was shown.

His rock hard, perfectly symmetrical and arranged eight pack and his broad and steel hard chest glimmered in the light, with the scars allover his torso.

Alexa had to look away for a few seconds, she wasn't used to seeing him shirtless, or anyone like that for that matter.

And the words she heard from the women in the crowd made her jealous and wish he could just get out of there.

Trevor bounced on the balls of his feet then wiped his nose and then stayed steadily then he and the man started circling each other.

The man then ran to Trevor and threw a fist but Trevor dodged it then kneed him in the ribs then jumped and kneed him in the face right before kicking him in the chin with a standing split.

The man stumbled backwards then Trevor ran and stepped on his knee right before giving him an side kick to the side of the head.

The man fell down, motionless then Trevor jumped and elbowed him in the belly and the the man jumped up from the force.

Trevor then looked to his side and saw Alexa and his heart was warmed.

He then went to her and said with joy evident in his voice,"You came."

She smiled then said,"I wouldn't miss this for the world."

He then turned to face the man and said,"This is for you."

Then he ran and front flipped then landed on the man's belly and he yelled in pain as there was a bang from the impact.

Alexa was nervous as Trevor effortlessly raised the man about twice his body weight up and lifted him up way above his head, making the crowd go wild.

He then dropped the man, chin first into his raised knee and the moment the man dropped backwards, he jumped and elbowed him in the chest and the man jumped from the impact.

Alexa had to look away and Trevor saw her then began to hate himself for putting her through this.

Alexa was horrified as he then turned the man over then held him in a LaBelle lock and the man yelled in pain and struggled to get free but Trevor held on.

He then saw Alexa's worried expression and tears for the man and then let go of the man and stood up to go to Alexa.

All he wanted in the world at that moment was to wipe her tears and tell her everything will be alright, but he couldn't, all he could do was say,"I'll go easy on him from now on."

That seemed to cheer her up till she yelled for him to look out.

The moment he turned, the man's foot impacted his face from the super kick he sent and Trevor fell down.

The man lifted him then pushed him towards the net.

Trevor tried to hold himself but the man punched him from the back then hit his head onto the cage.

Alexa yelled his name as the man dragged his face along the cage and he yelled.

The man was still pushing him into it when he saw Alexa's tears then the man dropped him.

He groaned while on the floor then the man tried to punch his face but he pushed him back with his legs and arms.

The man kept forcing till Trevor gave him an Axe kick from the floor then did a Macaco and kicked the man in the process, then he ran and jumped then wound his legs around the man's neck then threw him down, face first into the floor.

The man stayed, motionless and Trevor howled and got a flood of cheers then did a barani flip to land in front of Alexa and used his fingers to caress her cheek.

When he heard the counting end at three and there was no announcement he had won, he knew the man had gotten up again.

He kissed Alexa's fingers then ran and did a Cross arm bar on the man and he yelled and struggled but Trevor kept on pulling till he tapped out...
