SUCCULENT SUCCUBUS

Indigo lay below a 150kg barbell, took a deep breath, then slowly lifted it higher than its handle, placing its gravitational pseudo force under the influence of the normal force from his arms, provided it was sufficient, he would be able to lift it higher, aka, he was lifting weights.

He struggled and ethanol immediately started to build up within his muscles which were shivering violently from the strain.

It was hard, but he pushed on, till there was a gasp and my mom effortlessly lifted the barbell from his grip and with one hand, placed it down on the floor then asked,"Indigo, what the heck are you doing? Do you want to kill yourself?!"

He looked at her with his jaw dropped and wanted to ask but decided not to, mostly because his arms were killing him.

He just decided to exercise his light at the moment, not his body.

He stood up then walked away as she literally single handedly picked up the barbell and placed it back on the holders.

' How strong is she? ' Indigo wondered.

My mom caught him staring then smiled slightly at him, then he got lost and crashed into the wall then she giggled, he wished he could always hear that sweet sound.

Lilith woke up the next morning and found out she had slept in.

She stood up abruptly then ran to get herself ready for the day then realized Apollo was still asleep, heck, Anneliese and I still were, all of us were and she found it weird.

"Daddy!!!"Lilith yelled as she dropped onto my belly from seven feet in the air.

I shouted and jumped but continued sleeping.

She then went to her mom and started yelling for her to wake up, opening and blowing onto her eyes and pouring freezing water on her, all of which had strong effects on her, but didn't wake her up.

She slapped Apollo, hard, across the face then electrocuted him and his eyes opened and shivered as the electricity passed through him, but when Lilith stopped, he closed his eyes again then continued snoozing.

Lilith got off her brother's bed then looked around and started thinking sinister thoughts...

"Yes! I can eat all the ice cream I want!!"She yelled, stuffing her mouth with whipped cream and a banana split.

"Pizza all day!!"She yelled, making snow angels in the king sized pepperoni pizza she made.

She started trying her mother's clothes and acting like she was a super model with flowing gowns which would probably be impossible to wash.

She tried her grandmother's make up then laughed at her reflection in the mirror.

She opened Curtis's secret room and saw all his embarrassing secrets.

She dressed up Crystal, whose name was changed to Catherine, in the silliest clothes she could find.

She made the whole mansion into an icy, rock and jungle themed water park and zoo.

She tried everything she couldn't try while we were awake and after about seven hours, it got boring and she was confused as to what was wrong with...all of us.

She checked our bodies, we were all running slight fevers with low blood pressure and metabolic activities, she then wanted to see what Alexa was dreaming about so touched her head.

Lilith saw something straight out of a horror movie, feeding greedily on a certain white orb that was within Alexa's chest.

It had glowing blood red eyes, sharp claws and protruding horns on its head, with a face even a mother couldn't love. It was hideous.

It seemed to sense Lilith's presence the moment she arrived then roared and dashed at her.

She screamed then vanished and appeared back in real time then said,"A Demonic Succubus..."

Succubuses were a type of monster known for literally feeding only on the souls and consciousness of animals.

They had the ability to induce sleep then feed on their minds and souls.

There were two types, named by their appearance; Demonic, which were the ugliest creatures one could imagine, or Angelic, which were the most beautiful women.

Both of the types did the same things and were equally dangerous, though it was always said that dying in one's sleep due to being fed on by an Angelic Succubus was the most pleasant way to go.

When a Succubus ate half of a person's soul, the person entered a deep, coma like sleep.

If it felt greedy and went further, the person could lose all cognitive function, they'd be lucky to survive, not to wake up.

Succubuses on the other hand rarely went this far and no one knew why they wouldn't just finish the job, become satisfied and feed on fewer people.

There were theories that the little soul left tasted unpalatable, or that they actually had a respect for them, but the true answer only existed in our wildest dreams.

Succubuses had the ability to control dreams and sleep cycles, being able to make a victim sleep as deeply or quickly as they wanted, far better than any known enlightened mind controller, but they rarely used this skill to the max and usually fed lightly on a victim's soul before moving to the next, keeping them with a slight sickness that disappeared after their soul replenished itself.

Lilith thought I had taken care of all the monsters, but again, how can you catch something you can't detect as Succubuses were very shy, almost invisible in the real world, but dominant in the dream world.

She had no idea what to do.

She knew if she tried to fight it and it won her, she'd be stuck asleep too and it could feed on her soul as well, rendering her actions useless.

But she couldn't sit and do nothing while her family was slowly dying, and why were a group of Succubuses attacking her family at once?

She had to do something.

She touched Alexa's forehead again then took a deep breath and closed her eyes then appeared in the dream again.

This time, she was within the dream, not in the monster's hideout.

She saw Alexa, holding the four of her children, with Curtis behind her and the looked so happy, but this wasn't real.

Lilith had to stop this, somehow...
