SKILLS AND SUBSKILLS

Lilith was standing on a dry plot of land and waved her left hand over it.

Suddenly, tiny green sprouts germinated then grew taller, each bearing a different flower which was attractive in appearance.

She then shot her arm up then huge trees started to grow all around her then one carried her up.

A rain storm burst right on top of her and she giggled as the tree still grew then when it stopped, she shot up with a burst of inertia from the tree's initial growth then back flipped, making the water in her long hair, spin around.

It then turned into a fine mist which made a rainbow with the sun at the top, a spectacular sight with her in the middle.

When she reached the crown of the tree again, she sent one foot in front of the other and stretched her right arm, forming a slide made of wet ice I h, which she slid on to the bottom.

She landed with a safety roll and stood up abruptly then laughed then she saw her brother, sitting down, alone.

He could do similar things as that because of his water light, but he couldn't control plants as efficiently.

She had the ability to control the minerals in the plants added to her ability to control the water in them, making her able to control plants in a far more influential manner than any single H 2 Order or Stone Breaker.

Apollo looked up when the rain stopped pouring on him and he sensed her presence then saw her offering a bouquet of frosted flowers to him.

She smiled at him then he took it and smiled back.

They started practicing together and I watched them with joy in my heart, my children were getting along perfectly.

I also decided to train with some of the tricks Bertha taught me, one was using a plasma window to shield myself from wave attacks.

I made a sphere of water ions in my right hand then condensed it the best I could.

It became smaller and it seemed to solidify, though it was not similar in any way to a solid.

I then blasted an invisible Hydron Laser at it from an angle and it was reflected perfectly then hit a wall at the same angle, I was impressed.

It was far better at protecting from all kinds of waves than any kind of ice, but it was dwarfed by the ice's matter deflection properties.

I named the move the Plasma Shield, pun intended.

A Plasma Shield(not to be mistaken for Plasma Window) was an actual term given to a new technology which was being used to make wave reflectors.

They worked by using powerful magnets to condense an amount of plasma into a wall like structure, they were amazing at reflecting and absorbing waves and the thicker the shield was, the higher the wave frequency it could protect one from.

The problems with it were that it worked equally in both directions, which meant, one couldn't see light passing through either side of the shield.

It took a lot of energy to sustain, leaving the user utterly defenceless during and shortly after its activation.

I wasn't magnetic in the least so I used my influence on water molecules and ions to control them and make them into the desired shapes, the problem was, water was the easiest to manipulate, the farther away from the liquid state the state of matter was, the harder it was for me to control, thus, Bose- Einstein Condensate and Plasma were far more difficult for me to shape and manipulate than solid and gas, and the latter, more than water was, the liquid was, how do I describe it? More obedient than the others.

I knew she found out using about that ability using her light and couldn't wait to test out the other skills and sub skills she had put in my head, not minding my privacy...I loved her for that, I guessed.

It was Bertha's birthday and I wanted to throw her a surprise so I conspired with the kids and they agreed to help me out.

I hydroteleported out of the mansion to go to the place i wanted to set up the surprise at and left the kids to distract her.

She came out of the sauna with a bathrobe on and a towel on her head when she saw the kids, offering her breakfast.

It was three stacked pancakes with maple syrup and Shea butter on top, with whipped cream spirals in a hexagonal shape on the pancakes with blue berries and cherries on top.

There was also a perfect fried egg on the side, spiced amazingly with dill, sage and the best of spices.

They both yelled,"Happy birthday!"

She gasped and squealed then asked,"Did you do this for me?"

Apollo said,"Yes mom, Lilith did the cooking and I decorated."

"Really?! I knew you wouldn't forget, I love you so much."

"Uum, mom, you're forgetting to hug Lilith, I couldn't have done it without her."

Bertha looked at Lilith with disgust then said,"I didn't hug her for a reason, your father should have never brought her back, and left the past behind, come on son, let's go have fun."

She was pulling him away but he looked at his saddened step sister then pulled his arm back then said,"Not without my sister."

She grew furious and yelled,"What?! You want to be with the likes of her?! Fine! I'll leave you to mingle with her, don't come crawling back when she crushes your soul."

She then stormed off.

Apollo confidently took Lilith's hand but she pulled back and asked,"What are you doing?"

"Defending my sister, and best friend."

"But you can't do something like that to your own mother."

"And she can't do something like that to her own daughter."

"Stepdaughter."

"Same difference."

"Just go and apologize to her, right now, for me, please."

He looked at her and didn't understand her sentiment.

The woman clearly mistreated her and she wanted he the one who stood for what was right to apologize? He didn't want to, but his sister's puppy dog eyes made him do it, he groaned then a thunder cloud appeared above his head as he yelled,"Fine!"

A bolt of lightning shot down at the floor and the sauna vapour exploded out but Lilith frowned at him, unconcerned.

He then became grumpy then apologized and left, with the rain and thunder still over his head.
