REVEALED

"Andrew?!"I yelled.

"Yes son, it's me."He said, calmly.

"What are you doing here?!"I yelled.

"This is my safe haven for enlightened people."He answered.

"What?!"I yelled,"You're kidnapping people and illegally activating their lights and calling them safe?!"

"I'm not kidnapping anyone, in fact, they all came of their free will."

"But why are you doing this?"I asked, tears in my eyes.

His gaze softened, as he said,"Because Bright Academy isn't what you think it is."

"Neither is this place! You plan on dominating the world with these people!"I yelled.

He said,"That was a file I stole from Bright Academy, they want to take over the world."

"You're lying!"

"I'm not, I've only been acting strange because I was forced to, the principal threatened to kill you if I didn't do her bidding."

My eyes started glowing blue as neon blue tears streamed down my cheeks and the pipes moaned and groaned due to the great pressure of water within them.

He said,"Felix, calm down, you'll hurt someone."

"I want to hurt you!"

He was silent for a few seconds then said,"Fine, just know that you've been lied to all this time, haven't you realized that their information on anti humans isn't accurate? If they really were made of anti matter, you know what will happen. I just rescued them from the company in Japan and brought them here to teach them how to control their lights, whether they decide to use them or not."

My eyes glowed brighter and a whirling current of wind started around us as ice creeped from my feet up the cabinets around me.

I yelled,"You're a maniac!"

"Son, calm down."He said, concerned.

I was too angry to listen to reason, then the words escaped my mouth,"No I won't! I want you dead!"

He looked hurt by those words, but didn't say anything, then I said,"If you don't free these people right now, I'll make sure I personally kill you!"

"They're free to leave at any moment they choose."

Those words hit me...

' They can leave? And visit their families? ' I thought.

I shook my head then said,"You're lying!"

Just then the pipes exploded and the water blasted straight at my dad.

He flicked his wrist and the water changed direction and broke down several rows of the cabinets.

Some guards came in to stop me but he said,"Leave him...I want to talk to him."

One of them asked,"Sir, are you sure?"

"Yes, rather protect the people."He said.

I made several arc like liquid knives which went to him at great speed but he dodged all of them and protected the guards from them.

They sliced open several cabinets as they missed him then I touched the floor and several huge ice stalagmites grew from the floor, progressing to him with great speed.

He waved his arm and they stopped moving.

Just then, all the lights exploded and the room became pitch black, but there were bright blue bolts of electricity zooming in one direction, lighting the room.

He dodged all of them then I made a huge sphere of electric charges explode from me.

It charged the metal cabinets and they flew away from each other, due to being of the same charge.

Then he said,"Son, stop! Just listen to me!"

"Now you call me son?! So what about all the years I went on without a father?! The years my mom went without a husband?! And the time you hurt me because I called you dad?!"

I then blasted a strong wind at him which blew away the cabinets and started cracking the walls.

He then said,"I had no other choice, I have already told you the reason."

I swiped my arm and a flood of water poured towards him then he ran and dived through it, swimming without a hitch, then came through it.

He said,"I don't want to hurt you."

"But I want to hurt you!"

Just then, ice started forming all around and making cracks in the walls, frost wedging them, then it thawed and the whole place crumbled down.

A huge burst of white water exploded the falling debris into smithereens, coming from him.

He kept dodging my attacks, but not making any effort to attack me, then my limbs felt numb, and I started to feel seriously tired, then fainted.

At that moment, a woman sat on the floor, chained to a wall, with no fight left in her.

Then a door opened and she looked up, to see her son, with his eyes glowing blue, he then said,"Get up."

The chains immediately fell off and she stood up like a puppet as he said,"It's time for a family reunion..."

I woke up on life support and the first person I saw was him.

I frowned but he said,"I just want to talk."

I rolled my eyes, I just wanted to get it over with, so I agreed.

I sat with him at the top of the same building, which had been fully repaired in the week I had been unconscious for.

The view of the camp and the city was amazing, but that wasn't my interest.

I took a sip of the sobolo he had given me.

Sobolo is an African tea like beverage, made from boiling the flower sepals of red bissap plants. The water, now stock, absorbed their bright red colour and had sugar and spices added to it for taste.

It was my favourite beverage but I wondered how he knew.

I then asked,"So, what lies do you have for me this time?"

He looked at me from the corner of his eyes, placed his drink down, then said,"Where do I begin?"

"How about where you said Bright Academy was evil?"I asked.

"...as you saw the document, Bright Academy's aim wasn't just to help you learn how to use your Brightness, but it was to give Principal Portia the ability to create an army she could use to take control of the world."

"And why do I have trouble believing that?"

"Because you don't trust me, and I don't blame you. She made a lot of the people closest to you betray you, and let me start with myself, you know everything I have done to you right?"

"Oh yeah, abandoning me, treating me like trash? That everything?"

"And lying to you, it wasn't Jason who betrayed you, I made him think that he did."

I looked at him, shocked then yelled,"So you were the one who tore my friendship in half?! And threatened me to stop writing my book?!"

"Yes, because she was going to kill him if he told you I was the one who rescued you."

"But why?!"I yelled.

"Because of your book. If she had it, she wouldn't have needed you anymore, she needed to know how to perform all your skills to raise an even more powerful H 2 Order army, that's why I told you to stop writing."

I couldn't breathe properly, then stuttered,"I... I can't believe you."

"I don't expect you to, all your answers will be in the Bright Academy archives."

"But that's one of the most secure places in the world and I don't have certification, how on earth am I supposed to get in there?"

"You and I both know that you can."

He was right.

I stood up to leave and he stood up too, towering over me.

He then said,"Good luck."

Then I said,"I don't believe in luck, besides, if what you're saying is true, don't you think, I don't know, Principal Portia would be mad at you for telling me?"

"Let me worry about the principal, you worry about getting into those archives."

I left the place.
