Bright Academy

School for gifted students is an understatement. Bright Academy was a school on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean. Felix Oppong was one of the over thirty students in the forty square kilometer sized college, for good reason...

RARE SPACE TIME CONTIHUMAN

The referee started the match and he brought out two pistols.

I was confused as to why he'd need some unless his light wasn't good for attacking.

He shot a bullet at me which I could tell was rubber by the amount of water within it.

I easily dodged the bullet but like he knew what I was going to do, he shot another and it hit me.

It hurt but I concealed it, yet I saw him smirk, as if saying, ' I know I gotcha. '

He kept shooting bullets at me and I kept dodging but he somehow kept hitting me.

My strategy was to make him run out of ammo then attack, but the problem was, he might have had back up bullets, so I attacked.

I spun both my arms and shot two laminar blasts of water which spun around each other in a double helix.

They shot at him and he jumped over them and they separated and attacked him from different angles, but he dodged them like a cat burglar.

' This guy's the sixth best?! Nice. ' I smirked to myself.

The jets of water kept spinning in different directions to trap him but he kept slipping out of my grip.

He then did a back flip and when he was in the air, shot a bullet at me.

I sensed it coming and blasted it in time but wasn't prepared for the other bullet he shot.

It hit my rib and I yelled then the water jets poured down, out of energy.

I looked at him in rage, my eyes glowing slightly. I closed them tight then opened again and they stopped.

I made a wall of water burst from me to go and hit him out but he ran towards it and jumped higher than the wall then shot again.

' Pretty nimble for someone so tall. ' I thought.

I used a liquid knife to slice the bullet and he landed and kept shooting.

I knew I couldn't slice all the bullets with my hands and eyes so I closed my eyes and concentrated on my water vision, then made a thin strip of water start spinning around me and it sliced through each of the bullets that came my way.

I then darted my eyes open and shot it to slice through the bullets he recently shot.

As he dodged the liquid knife, he said,"Pretty skilled, aren't we?"

"You ain't seen nothin yet."I said.

I then blasted a river of water at him and he widened his eyes as it rushed to him.

' I got him where I want him... ' I thought to myself.

He ran from it and I made it chase him.

It was tiring and heavy and especially more so as I had lost a lot of energy in battle and transporting the water here.

He kept dodging it then I divided it into five tentacle like jets of water, he was dodging them without a problem till one blasted him from the back.

He fell right in front of me and I knew that was it.

I made the water rise behind him as a wave and shot it at him.

He whispered, but I heard him due to my water vision, he said,"Big mistake..."

Then he back flipped several feet in the air to the surprise of the crowd and the wave charged at me.

I was too tired to stop it and it washed me out of the circle.

I was furious when the referee announced him winner of the first round as it had been a long time since someone won even one round against me, so if someone did it, by even using my own light, my ego received a deadly blow.

The worst part was, he didn't even once use his light.

' Unless... ' I thought to myself.

The referee started the second round and I had a new strategy.

When we stood at opposite ends of the circle, he reloaded his bullets and I said,"You're a Chromosapien, aren't you?"

He chuckled to himself and whispered,"Yup I am."

He had this quirk of whispering near me, maybe it was to test how good my water vision was, or he just had a quiet voice.

Another thing was that Chromosapiens were very rare, or not actually rare, it's just, their lights were very difficult to activate, like their Teleporter counterparts who together, formed the tribe Space-time contihumans.

The last time there was a record of one in the world was two decades ago.

A Chromosapien has a brightness which enables them to see forward in time, beginners can only see flashes a few milliseconds in the future with very little accuracy, but experts can see vivid videos, days, if not weeks into the future with almost 100% accuracy.

That's why he used guns, his light couldn't blast things out, though it was still very powerful.

I smirked and said,"Finally, a real challenge."

Without looking, I could tell my previous opponents who were watching might have been offended.

I blasted a jet of water at him and he jumped over it and shot a bullet at me but I made a swirling wall of water to block it, then I shot the wall of water.

I knew he'd know I had made it weak and would know my intention and plan, but I didn't care, my plan wasn't something he could run away from.

When he jumped through the wall, I condensed all the water in the air around his head and he couldn't breathe.

He was suffocating and I didn't want to hurt him, just to make him quit.

He then did something I wasn't expecting; he disappeared into thin air.

Just then, I saw a blob appear behind me and was shocked when I saw him.

He held and threw me to the edge but I blasted water to regain my balance.

Then he appeared again and threw me to the other side.

I yelled,"How on earth are you doing that?!"

"That's for me to know and you to find out."He said.

I blasted water at him but he disappeared and appeared behind me and kicked me forward.

' He must be super fast! Or a teleporter! ' I thought.

He had two lights and great expertise in both of them, but how was he the 6th best?!

He appeared behind me again and said,"It's time for your reign to come to an end, kid."

Then he pushed me out of the circle...
