"Mom please? They said the first hundred people to go there will get a discount."Apollo begged,"Tell her Lily."

Lilith just rolled her eyes and vanished but Apollo wasn't done.

He kept begging Anneliese who had her ears corked as she tried to get away from him then I finally asked,"What is going on?"

"Thank you!"Anneliese yelled,"He's your son now."

She tapped my shoulder, wished me luck then walked away.

I looked at Apollo and my heart melted seeing him looking at me, he wasn't making an effort, he was just that cute.

He then asked,"A monster petting zoo just opened up in South Africa, can we please go?"

"Okay."I shrugged.

"What?"Anneliese just appeared from the kitchen and walked beside me then smiled at Apollo as he jumped for joy.

She then asked,"Apollo, can I please steal your dad for a moment?"

"Okay."He said nonchalantly.

' Oh boy. ' I thought.

She pulled my ear hard and dragged me into the kitchen then removed her hand, I held my ear in pain as Anneliese stretched her arm and the walls changed shape to be sound proof.

She then yelled,"Are you out of your freaking mind?! What are you doing?!"

"First off, aw! And second off, I'm just giving my son an experience he's always wanted, what's wrong with that?"

She looked at me with her eyes half closed then asked,"Didn't you realize I tried to ignore him? After saying no at least twenty seven times?"

"It was actually twenty six."

"I don't care! Don't you find it weird how your job is to kill monsters and you're going to place your son at the mercy of monsters?"

"I don't actually kill monsters I just try to maintain peace and order with them, it is only in rare occasions that killing is necessary."

"So if anything bad happens, you will take responsibility?"

"Yup."

"And you're paying for everything."

"Okay."

She looked at me for a second then felt weak in the knees as I smiled, she had still not gotten used to my charm.

She then sighed and raised her hands as if giving up then ran her fingers on the wall, making it return to its original texture.

She then raised her hand and the door opened with Apollo waiting eagerly on the other side.

She then asked,"Guess what Apollo?"

"What?"

"You're going."

"Really?! I thought you were going to be the mean mom and spank dad but yay!"

"Wait, what?"

He was already gone.

I then tapped her shoulder and said,"Yup, you can be scary at times."

She twisted my fingers and I begged as she asked,"Am I really scary? Am I?"

"No, no, no, no, no honey, you're nice and sweet li-li-like a bumble beeee...(she twisted harder)'s honey, you didn't let me finish."

"Good."

She left my hand and I was blowing my fingers to minimize the pain as she said,"Now whip me something up I'm starving.

"Yes honey."I said, scared.

By the time we were leaving, Apollo asked Anneliese whether or not she was coming, she then said,"Oh...(yawn) no I'm tired, you know keeping a baby is tiring work(yawn). You guys go on and have your fun."

We could both tell she was lying but played along.

Apollo then called Lilith to come but she said,"Nope, I'm gonna stay with mom."

"Really?"Apollo asked,"But you love monsters."

"Sorry, but I have more important people to hang out with."

' That was offensive. ' I thought.

Apollo looked downhearted then I knelt to his level and said,"Hey kiddo, why don't we have a guys' trip?"

"Really?!"He yelled.

I nodded and he ran ahead, excitedly.

I then said to his hearing,"You let the girls hang out and do their boring stuff."

A clap of thunder sounded and Anneliese appeared right in front of me, startling me as she asked,"What did you just say?"

"I said the girls are going to have an awesome time and the boys suck, bye!"I said in one breath.

She smiled and shook her head as I took a sigh of relief then we made our sailfish of ice and jumped into the ocean, using super cavitation to speed ourselves up...

"Curtis, Curtis!"Alexa yelled, smacking his forehead.

"Aw! What gives?!"He yelled angrily after she slapped him awake.

"You failed, again."She answered.

"So?"He asked.

"So if you keep failing my class, you will be stuck in here with me even when you are four levels up."

"What?!"He yelled and got to his feet,"You can't do that!"

"Being the sister of the principal, I can now sit down."

He looked deeply into her eyes, his fury evident, but he still did.

She turned back and prayed for strength to deal with him as he yelled for her to hear,"Yeah, keep hiding in your brother's shadow, we know he's an excellent influence trying to make the entire human rare go extinct."

She screamed then lunged at him and tried to punch his face but her fist was stuck in mid air, unable to move no matter how hard she tried.

He then flicked his fingers and she was thrown backwards onto the other students then he said,"I'm wasting my time here."

Then left.

Apollo giggled as the Unicorn ate the apple in his hand like a horse.

A Unicorn looked like a... Unicorn. They were named as they looked, they were usually mutated zebras or donkeys since the genes of horses contained many polygenic traits with groups of genes needing to be mutated in the right way to cause a narwhal like tusk to form on its forehead.

The unicorn started rubbing its muzzle on his shirt for more treats and Apollo looked at me.

I smiled then gave him my apple which the horse-like creature ate greedily.

There was a zipping sound as a Pterodactyl like Trail carver zoomed past the crowd.

Trail carvers looked like pterodactyls apart from the fact that they could make sonic booms.

They were known for their speed even though their strength was also surprising.

They were mainly harmless but would hurt a human when they felt threatened, which wasn't easy as they were very friendly.

The crowd cheered as it did a loop the loop then twirled on its way down right before skimming a beak full of water and spraying it on the crowd playfully, of which we were part.

There were enlightened monsters too, like the Stone Breaker Conaivan which looked more like a wolf, just was twice the size of a normal wolf, acted like a dog and had blue fur.

It patted its foot as Apollo scratched its neck and the sand started to make figures around us.

When he stopped, it made a screeching sound then jumped playfully and flowers began to grow all around us as the floor lifted unevenly, making cuboidal column like blocks of different heights.

Squeakers barked and the two started chasing each other while using their lights from time to time.

Apollo was super bummed out when we had to leave, even when we had stayed more than six hours, I then promised him that we'd visit again and that lifted his spirits.
