LOSS

I knew I had placed their lives in harm's way by revealing that to them, but I had no other choice.

Despite this revelation, Alex couldn't stop playing with my hair, I just convinced myself that he was jealous.

I took them to my room and secretly made them meet my dad.

He was at first surprised to meet them, standing in front of him, not angry at him, alive, but I told him I was going to smuggle them to him everyday if I needed to.

I could see the tears welling up in his eyes as he hugged Alex, my mom on the other hand, didn't look too happy and came just because I wanted her to.

As we were going back to my room, a beautiful girl walked our way and Alex was stunned.

She came and hugged me then I went stiff, I still wasn't used to it, but she didn't seem to realize.

Then she smiled and asked,"Who are these people?"

"Oh, this is my family. Mom, Alex, I'll like you to meet Mina, my girlfriend..."

Some maids told me that they had reservations for my family and that I didn't need to share the same room with them, even if that was all I wanted.

I woke up the next morning to a siren I had never heard before.

It sounded in every room and gave me a headache, but there was an announcement that all the students were in danger and had to move to some two jets which had been fuelled and prepared to take us to safety.

I didn't understand what kind of danger it could be that would be dangerous for us, a really big monster attack? A meteor shower?

I just went to the jet for the students.

My family were to be placed in the second jet, the jet for the staff and I wondered why they wanted to keep us separated.

They gave each student a mark on top of their old one before they entered the cabin and I was the last at the top of the ladder since I smelled a rat.

My suspicions were confirmed when I sensed some guards at the back of the plane talking in code about a package to be loaded into the plane, a super weapon. Whatever it was, it wasn't good.

I blasted the guard who wanted to mark me into the plane cabin.

He hit the wall hard and a sensed a dart coming my way then dodged it.

I saw five guards shooting at me then I super jumped into the air, making a sphere of fast moving water around myself to protect me from the darts then when I landed, the water shot out and blasted them.

I sensed more guards coming from Eve house and wasn't going to let them hurt any of the other students so I ran and swiped my arm then a curved current of pressurised water travelled through the air and knocked them down.

I ran into the plane and told the students to get down but it started moving.

I told Tatiana Maverick, who was the present most powerful student in the school, to rescue everyone then I jumped down.

I ran as fast as a cheetah, using the water in my body to boost my movements, to the other plane which was moving then paid attention to where everyone in the plane was sitting then did a butterfly kick which sent a huge liquid knife which sliced through the plane, damaging it too much to move, but the passengers were fine.

I didn't sense my family inside, but I sensed someone say,"They're here..."

I hydroteleported to the position then blasted all the men backwards with an explosion of wind then stood up and saw Alex facing me, I ran to him then said,"Alex! I thought I lost you! They're sending all the students to some place but I know we're all in danger, we have to get them out of here and... where's mom?"

"Somewhere you'll be soon."He said, menacingly.

I took a step back and looked into his glowing eyes then asked,"What have they done to you?"

He scoffed then said,"They... enlightened me."

Droplets of water started forming on his body and floating around before collecting above his head then I said,"Alex, I don't want to hurt you."

"It's funny..."He said,"...I don't wish I could say the same thing."

Two curved liquid knives in the shape of an ' X ' immediately manifested and shot at me, slicing through the greenery like paper.

I caused two trees to collapse and block them but the trees immediately wilted when all the moisture was sucked out of them, then blacked at me in the form of dozens of miniscule spinning, disk like liquid knives.

I tried to hold them back but they actually broke through my control and went on, giving me several cuts all-over my body.

I yelled and fell as Alex walked closer, then I asked,"Why?"

"All this time you've been here, I was trained, trained to be more powerful than dad and better than you, and I think it's working."

"No matter what mind control they may have used on you Alex, I know one thing, and that's the fact that, you can never be broken, no one's good or bad enough to break you Alex..."I said,"... except for dad."

He looked back then saw the man standing behind him, in his usual black trenchcoat.

Alex's eyes slightly widened, then he frowned and asked,"You think you can scare me?! I'll take on the both of you!"

"No..."My dad said,"...you won't, now sit down."

The glow in his eyes immediately vanished, then he fell to the floor, immobilised.

My dad then said,"Get up."

And I immediately felt the strength within me, to stand up again as my wounds were healing, I asked,"How?"

"Mind and body control, I'll teach you that later."

"Dad?"Alex called.

We both rushed to him but before we could do anything, a white light shone around him before an arm came and wrapped around his neck and pulled him in and we both yelled his name.

I heard a silent voice in my head, then looked East, towards the student houses.

My dad asked what I was doing, but I just vanished...

I looked at the direction the voice came from and saw the principal at the ground floor of Frannie house, holding my mom, girlfriend and brother hostage.

I could sense her smile as she said,"That's it, now walk here slowly..."

I walked towards them with my eyes dimly lit.

I tried my best to make them glow brighter but it wasn't working.

I looked around as the twenty guards all pointed guns at me, including snipers.

I couldn't move.

My dad was nowhere to be found but I really needed him at that moment, I began to criticize my decision of leaving so impromptu.

The principal said,"Now my super weapon, I want you to drink that."

It was a bottle filled with an aqueous solution of five light dimmer parts per million. I could tell because of my water vision.

I looked at her, frowning deeply then she said,"Go on, drink it."

I looked at it then sensed Alex whisper,"Felix, don't do it..."

"Oh, the brave twin are we?"The principal said,"Well you aren't that brave, you're stupid, but since you're opposite mirror twins...why don't you be the smart one and listen to me?"

I hated my situation. Any small movement and they would be killed, I also couldn't control my light without moving but why wasn't Alex using his light?

Unless they had already dimmed it, but then why were they asking me?

Why not do it by force?

I just counted my blessings as the bottle floated up into my grip then I opened it.

I was bringing it to my lips when a huge column of water dropped from the ceiling and spread around and without touching my family and girlfriend, protecting them from the bullets.

Then it went on to hit all the guards but didn't touch me, as if there was an obstacle in its way.

That amount of water was far too much for me to Hydroteleport and there was no H 2 Order around.

Just then, my water vision changed slightly and I saw one of the guards change into my dad, with his eyes glowing.

' Of course he can make his eyes glow. ' I thought angrily to myself.

All the guards were on the floor and in constant pain from the tremendous force, and the principal was nowhere to be found.

He softened his gaze and ran to my family to see if they were okay, but my sigh of relief was short-lived.

He yelled in pain and fell to his knees and I yelled.

He had been stabbed by the principal.

She pushed the blade even deeper and I could sense the agony he was going through.

I screamed and blasted a bolt of lightning at her but she made me stop by saying,"If it kills me, he'll die too."

Then she started slowly pulling the blade out as he yelled.

Then she abruptly pulled it out and I screamed then the bolt travelled towards her as he fell to his side but she vanished and I had no idea where she was.

She then appeared behind Alex and held his neck then said,"If you try that again, you'll lose your brother too..."
