LIGHT DIMMER

I yelled and opened one eye after the other...

' It worked! ' I yelled to myself.

I was supporting my entire upper body weight with two jets of water blasting out of my hands.

' Yeouch, my push ups are finally paying off. ' I thought to myself.

I heard him quarreling with the referee as to how I should have been eliminated, but the referee said I hadn't actually fallen out, much to the dismay of my many enemies and to the joy of my many fans.

"Hey Fartcois!"I yelled.

He shot me a deadly glare and I said,"Scared of a little kid?"

He yelled and started running at me.

I had to find out how his second light worked so I flew up.

He looked at me from the air and started shooting.

' He can't reach me? ' I thought to myself, ' Then that crosses out teleportation. '

I then made the blades of grass shoot out and bind him.

He looked just as surprised as the crowd and he yelled,"How are you doing that?!"

I shrugged my shoulders and said,"That's for me to know and you to find out."

I loved the irony.

He struggled to free himself and that was my time to attack.

I made the grasses throw him down then used the ones still on the ground to move like cilia, slowly but surely getting him to the edge.

Then I landed and blasted water at him.

He yelled in fury and was shot out, but I knew I saw his eyes glow white.

He had to be bound but broke out and charged towards me.

The referee and teachers yelled for me to run but I was glued to the floor.

I hated the fact that adrenaline gave me the fight reflex.

He took one step and all the grass left started to wilt and I started to feel cold as clouds gathered.

He yelled and a bolt of lightning struck at me.

I had no idea how he did that but he did.

I dodged and the moment I looked up, a tree near me had lost its leaves and came crashing down on me.

I blasted it with water and did a kip up but a shockwave shot through the ground from his feet and I almost lost my balance.

Suddenly, it started to snow like crazy and everyone had to leave with security coming to take him away.

As they were taking me to safety, I didn't know why I yelled,"Hey yo! Fartcois! You have to get out of Bright Academy and into Anger management class! No wonder you're 6th, you are too much of a hot head to be 1st! Oh and one more thing, you're accent stinks!"

He yelled and his eyes glowed even brighter then he disappeared and appeared right in front of me, holding my neck.

Somehow he made all the guards fall asleep.

I now understood how he did that.

Chromosapiens had a skill called Time Jump where they jumped into the future without actually going through it and without causing any catastrophic effects. I had never seen it in action since it was rare.

No wonder he disappeared, he jumped through the time where he ran at me and eliminated that time so he seemed just to be appearing.

He held me and I smirked then he widened his eyes as his brain throbbed painfully.

He yelled in pain and I said,"You have to get your emotions under control, and that means a lot coming from a seven year old."

He yelled and a tornado appeared.

It spun towards me and I blasted water at him.

When he was hurt, it immediately disappeared.

I then made two jets of water spin around him and straighten him then I threw him into the air.

I knew he couldn't stay conscious for a lot longer, but he must have gotten the message.

He fell into the knee depth snow and didn't rise again.

I couldn't tell if he was tricking me or not, so I sat down with my legs crossed and waited.

After a while, the Braud nurse came and injected him with a clear liquid, I knew it was a light dimmer.

A light dimmer was an unknown chemical which had the ability to weaken or if in sufficient amounts, totally neutralize one's light. Until it was processed by the liver.

H 2 Orders had an exceptionally fast light reactivation after light dimmer treatment due to their well developed livers which also helped with their lives underwater.

Francois woke up on life support and saw me sitting by him.

He asked what had happened and I said,"You went Cuckoo."

He frowned and said,"It was all your fault, you cheated."

I said calmly,"That's why you became angry, you set it in your heart that you were supposed to win and that I was supposed to lose, of course you went angry if your future sight wasn't going to work."

I stood up to leave then he asked,"Then why did you challenge me?"

"I have my reasons, besides, it's your fault since you saw what was going to happen and accepted."I said.

He then looked at me and said,"It's true, I knew that would have happened, but I also knew this would happen..."

Just then the referee walked in. She said to us,"The match wasn't cancelled when Francois went out of control as the rules don't say they do, therefore, the winner is Felix, as he was able to send Francois out of the designated region."

I looked at him and he smirked then said,"Congrats kid."

I jumped on my bed and shouted in my pillow, I won!

I checked my mark and saw I was on level 1.72.

I had to find new skills.

I buried myself into my books since then and unlocked a new sub skill, Vapour Manipulation.

I had technically already had it since I was able to change vapour into water, but I had never realized.

With this skill, I could change water into vapour by making the water molecules' motion accelerate, till they shot off the surface.

I could also control vapour on its own like wind which was quite impressive as it was everywhere.

It was also a powerful sub skill unlike the Green Thumb as I was controlling the water itself.
