FIRE BALL

I was in Chemistry class and was leading the class in a show and tell presentation.

I was showing the chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to create water.

The whole experiment was water powered, from the motor driving the circuit, to the electrolysis of the water, to the pressurizing of the two gases.

I made a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen and put on the valve and immediately ignited it with an electric arc from my fingertip, creating a golden fire ball.

I explained how a pair of hydrogen atoms shared an electron each with a single oxygen atom during the collisions of the appropriate orientation and how they were both oxidizers and yet both reducers and how the oxygen had a stronger electronegativity, making the bonds polar.

I also explained how the end products of the flame reaction were only water molecules and were harmless and even beneficial to our health.

I got an A+ and went to sit down then it hit me!

Cody told me I could manipulate the water as long as it was water, that's how I was able to split the water into ions to create plasma, but what if I split it into molecules, specifically oxygen and hydrogen molecules, then ignited it...it will burn!

I tested my theory that night and took a deep breath.

I switched on a lighter and placed it down then made the water vapour around it change to its constituent molecules and it exploded!

The plastic parts of the lighter even melted.

I tried again, with a lighter and a thermometer this time, and I also made the water vapour move fast before reaching the lighter and it made a long fireball which went over a meter and a half away.

This was ground breaking!

' Yes! I just invented another sub skill! ' I thought.

This was my fourth invented sub skill, other than the Green Thumb (which had become a lot stronger and more useful now), the Hydro Boom and the Water Plasma.

I went for my next mission, which was to free all the people with lights from that company, as we had proof to stop them.

The company was shut down and I went to get all the people out but when I got to the room they were kept in, they were gone.

I activated Memory Lane to show me where they were and it took me all the way to South Korea.

I looked and saw the people were kept in a camp now. They had their lights activated successfully as well.

It meant the mastermind knew a thing or two about lights.

I sensed ninety people in total. Much more than back in Bright Academy which had fifty six, staff and students included.

I walked to the fence and saw the people.

They didn't actually seem scared, but rather, happy.

I didn't understand why they were happy when they were kidnapped and used as experimental guinea pigs.

I needed more intel.

I super jumped over the fence and did a safety roll when I landed then walked into the base without being spotted.

I then caused an electric surge in the south side to create a distraction then hydroteleported in.

I used my water vision to hear what everyone within a five hundred metre radius was talking about and none of them, not even the inmates, seemed worried.

I found out where they kept their secret information and went there.

I saw a huge room full of cabinets filled to the brim with documents.

It could take ages before I'd find anything promising, then I remembered, water had memory.

I activated the Aqua Orchestra and found out the cabinet they opened for the information I was looking for and the exact folder.

I went to it and opened it.

It talked about a certain enlightened super army which had people with lights to be sold to the highest bidding governments and some even to be crossed with their corresponding anti humans to make energy...this was basically a plan for world domination, I was so distracted, I didn't notice the person who entered the room, even with my water vision.

Then someone said,"Found anything interesting?"

I turned back to see...

"Andrew?!"I yelled.

"Yes son, it's me..."He said.

I yelled,"What are you doing here?!"

"This is my safe haven for enlightened people."He said.

"What?! You're kidnapping people and illegally activating their lights and calling them safe?!"I yelled.

"I'm not kidnapping anyone, in fact, they all came of their own will."

"But why are you doing this?"I asked, with tears in my eyes.

"Because Bright Academy isn't what you think it is."

"Neither is this place! You plan on dominating the world with those people!"

"That was a file I stole from Bright Academy, they want to take over the world."

"You're lying!"

"I'm not, I have only been acting strange to you because I was forced to, the principal threatened to kill you, your brother and mother if I didn't do her bidding."

The pipes started to moan and groan from the water pressure within them and he said,"Felix, calm down, you'll hurt someone."

"I want to hurt you!"I yelled.

"...Fine, just know that you've been lied to all this time, haven't you realized that their information about anti humans isn't accurate? If they really were made of anti matter, they wouldn't be able to exist, they only create it from normal matter and control it. I just rescued them from the company in Japan and brought them here to teach them how to use their lights whether they decide to use them or not."

"You're a maniac!"

"Son, calm down."

"No I won't! I want you dead!"

"I don't expect you to understand immediately, I'll gave you as much time as you need, John..."He said.

I got into a defensive stance and a short man walked in then smiled warmly at me.

I was breathing heavily and my dad said,"Don't worry, he wouldn't hurt you. You want to go back to your original time right? Well he's an anti Chromosapien, he can jump to the past without going through it, he can see into the past, he can bring the past to the present and he can send you to the past, with or without your memories."

I looked at him in horror and immediately, the pipes burst and I blasted water at them both but the John character stretched his arm at me and everything began to fade away, and I heard my dad say,"I love you, son."

Then I shouted,"Yes! My most recent win!"

I checked my mark and it said:
