DANISH RELISH

I hadn't checked my level in a while so I did and I was on level 9.72, I was getting even closer to level 10.

Anneliese and I went to the mission center, where missions were given to the agents.

There was an E, level 5.32 monster attacking a town in Denmark, looking for prey but there was a scarcity of agents.

The town was in danger so I volunteered for the mission. Anneliese was skeptical since my life wasn't out of danger yet and she didn't want to risk my safety, but I told her I'd be fine.

The monster was a mutated Kea parrot.

It looked like a bird, but was twelve feet tall, had pure graphene blades for feathers and a beak made of golden diamond.

That bird was a technological and mutation marvel which could probably be worth a fortune.

It was an Enforcer as well and was actually quite smart to be able to reach level 5.

It was also old which must have given it experience in battle, about twenty seven years of age.

I was dispatched and swam through the waters of the ocean, I loved to swim...

I appeared at the venue and the town was mostly deserted, but there were still some people who were too scared to leave.

The bird was covered in one of the lightest yet strongest materials on the planet, which probably gave it spectacular defensive abilities, I looked at it as it flew towards the town.

It landed and looked me in the eye.

I stretched my arm and a katana made of ice formed, then I said,"Let's get this over with..."

Then I jumped and pierced the sword into the ground and ice started creeping on the floor at a speed of five meters per second, and blocks of ice started growing.

The monster flapped its huge wings and made a strong breeze, but the sword frozen to the ground acted as an anchor for me.

The monster flew only above a meter before the ice caught up with it and blocks of ice formed a cage for it with another growing up its body.

It made a loud screech which made my ears hurt and gave me a splitting headache, but it was subdued.

I didn't have to kill it, I just had to immobilize it, and I did.

I stood up and left it there, struggling, but then sensed something at the other side of town, something big enough for people to run away from... another monster...

I sped up myself then ran through the town and super jumped onto a building then flipped off and landed on the ground, right before a huge bolt of lightning hit the monster's iron skin, changing the water into an acid and further hurting it.

It screeched then I got a closer sense of it.

It looked like an iguana, but there weren't any iguanas in Denmark.

It also had a spikey ball at the end of its tail and arms like those of a bear, covered in iron scales.

I then heard a deep but audible voice say,"The boy..."

"Wait, you can talk?"I asked, clearly surprised.

It chuckled deeply then said,"I can do a whole lot more than just talk..."

Then the scales on its torso removed then shot at me. Each circular disk about half a meter in diameter.

I did a back handspring to dodge most of them, then did a barani and dodged two by the skin of my teeth.

I landed with a split then sent my head backwards to dodge one targeted at my head.

I sensed them coming back so made a huge wall of ice to freeze them.

The scales on the lizard grew back, quite slowly, but fast in normal terms.

It also must have had a lot of stored iron in its body to replenish the lost amount.

It swiped its tail towards me but I stood my ground then caught it.

It pushed me back about a meter and a half, but I was still standing.

The monster was clearly surprised and literally flipped when I threw it into the air and flat on its back.

It scuttled back to its feet and looked at me, shocked.

"I'm stronger than I look."I shrugged.

It then made a weird face but by reading its mind, I could tell that meant it was happy.

At that moment, I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder as the graphene feather penetrated it.

Anneliese screamed when that happened and security had to calm her down.

I held my injured joint then looked back, to see the freed monster that I fought earlier.

I probably didn't sense the blade because it was as thick as an atom.

But at that thickness, it should have generated enough pressure to slice off my arm, not that I wanted that.

It seemed so dumb, it didn't know when and how to use its light.

It flapped its wings and several of its clear feathers were dispatched and flew towards me.

I hydroteleported away then they flew directly to the lizard which wasn't at all prepared.

It tried to use its scales to form a wall but the feathers were too fast and one gauged out its eye.

That was disgusting and painful to see as I loved animals, but I had to let that happen.

The bird swooped down and had its talons ready to pierce through a child who was surprisingly playing on the street.

I swiped my uninjured arm and it fell as the air pressure below its wings wasn't high enough to support its weight anymore.

It screeched again and I turned and made a wall of ice to block the tail swipe the lizard made.

It hit the ice, but didn't break it, but I felt an even sharper pain in my shoulder then saw the blade was going deeper.

' What the heck?! ' I yelled to myself.

I painstakingly pulled it out then threw it as far as I could but it stopped in the air and flew back to me.

I dive rolled to dodge the boomerang blade and the swipe of the lizard.

I spoke into the people's minds that I was injured and they needed to get out from the East side of the town and they agreed.

I then had to distract them.

Just then I heard a loud screeching sound that gave me a splitting headache and my eardrums felt like they were going to burst.

I used Hydro Boom to cancel out the noise but the moment I did, I was hit with the tail of the lizard.

I flew through several houses, breaking them down.

When I roughly landed, I felt like my lungs were going to explode if I continued breathing.

I slowly stood up then there was a clanging sound, right before the ceiling started collapsing.

I made a sphere of ice VII to block the debris but I heard a banging sound as the lizard hit the sphere with the ball of its tail.

The bird started increasing the force of the crash and reducing the normal force of the ice which made me wonder,' If the bird is smart enough to do this, why didn't it just cut off my arm? Unless they want me in one piece... '

There was a cracking sound the third time the lizard hit the ice then it raised its tail again but screeched when a ten foot long icicle pierced through the still growing scales.

The bird turned to me then flapped its wings.

It was coming closer till a larger geyser erupted and hit it into the air then froze it in place.

The lizard then said,"Please don't kill me, they forced me to do it."

"Who forced you to...argh!"

I yelled when I was hit in the face with the blunt side of one of the bird's wings.

I had no idea how it kept melting my ice, but it did, and always attacked when I was distracted. It might've even been smarter than the talking lizard in order to strategize like that.

I crashed onto the roof of a building, getting scratches everywhere.

I was about to get up when a large geyser erupted beneath me, broke through the building, and sent me flying through the air.

I fell hard on my back, then slowly stood up, right before I was hit to a wall by the lizard's tail.

Just then, I felt this sudden urge to scream and started struggling on the floor.

Despite my weakness, I was able to stand up and try to run somewhere, but I didn't move, no one was holding me, but I was acting like someone was, and I felt sudden fear and sorrow.

Then I understood that that was my Forget Me Not connection with, Anneliese.

I smiled when I understood she cared for me so much.

I fell to my knees when a rain drop fell on my forehead and lost all that strength I had a second ago.

Just then, I started being lifted up into the air as the two monsters approached me.

I sensed the screams of the people and the crying children and remembered the emotions and thoughts of Anneliese, then, I felt this sudden rage and I yelled at the top of my lungs which caused a Hydro Boom that even the people had to cover their ears in pain.

The monsters couldn't do that, so blood gushed out of the regions of their bodies most sensitive to sound.

They screeched but that sound was silent due to the loud sound that came out of my mouth.

I fell when they lost their concentration and a tall block of ice grew to support me.

I then shot my arm forward and a small amount of water shot right through the graphene covered chest of the bird and red blood gushed out the other side, right before the bird fell down with a huge crash.

The lizard started to flee but a tall wall of ice formed and circled the whole town, then bolts of lightning started hitting it from the sky, as its scales acted like lightning rods, and I targeted them at it.

It screeched as its tissue were being fried by the high temperature and eaten up by the acid.

Soon, its massive carcass fell to the side.

Then my eyes stopped glowing and I fell off the ice.

Anneliese screamed louder as her eyes glowed green, gold and brown and the ground raised up and softened my fall then made a slide for me to roll down.

Then she fainted.

Two feet stopped in front of me, then there was a voice which said,"General, we have the package..."
