ARE YOU NORMAL?

"Oh so now you're sorry? You think sorry's going to pay for all the damage you've caused?!"Anneliese yelled.

I remained silent then she shook her head and said,"You said you wouldn't come back until Apollo was gone so, what are you doing here? Because he's not leaving."

"Anneliese, I know I did some crazy things but..."I began.

"Crazy? That doesn't even begin to describe it, this has a whole category on its own, you tried to wipe out half of the world's population!"

"For the problems they caused."

"You still think you are right?! You know what? Nevermind all my lectures, I'm done trying, I'm leaving."

She turned and I felt my heart sink.

I called her name but she didn't listen.

A tear fell down my cheek, I was so blinded by my anger that I had forgotten about how much I loved my wife.

I was immobilized but my children ran to her and pulled her arms, begging her to stay with tears in their eyes.

She softened then kissed their foreheads before agreeing.

She then glared at me and said,"We aren't done yet."

Lilith went to her room and hugged a picture of our whole family close to her heart, then she sensed someone appear behind her and looked to see Frankie's dad.

"Mr Pitt, how can I help you?"

"The question is how can I help you? Your father almost killed my son and then left him to die, and that's not all that your family has done, come with me and I'll show you the truth."

"I'm sorry but I can't, I love my family and I know my dad will never do something like that."

"So I thought, just take my hand and I'll show you everything."

She didn't know why, but she did and what she saw made her pull back her hand, he then said,"Now you know..."

A tear streamed down her cheek as sorrow and betrayal filled her heart...

After Apollo followed his mother to dinner, I felt different, like a changed man who deserved a new beginning and I was going to give myself exactly what I deserved.

Some police officers and Monster Hunters were attending to some people being carried away by a flood which recently destroyed a town when all the waters abated and their hearts sank as they saw me walking closer, I then said,"I surrender..."

"...I declare you guilty of mass genocide and sentence you to Cleavage."The judge said.

Cleavage was just the term given to one's light being taken away.

I then said,"I accept all your charges."

The judge was about to hit the mallet when someone screamed,"No!"

All the glasses in the courthouse exploded and people covered their ears due to the loud noise that almost burst their ear drums.

Apollo then yelled,"You can't take my father's light away, his light is everything to him."

I looked at him then smiled and said,"You are everything to me, nothing else."

He shook his head violently then said, amplifying his voice with a Hydro Boom,"I won't allow you to take his light from him, he only did what he did because I killed my own sister in cold blood and the only reason he ever hurt those innocent people is you!"

The judge was offended and was about to speak but Apollo yelled,"Let me finish! You people have hated us and used that war that happened long before I was born as an excuse for your injustice, why else wouldn't he do something for his morals? But if you must punish someone, it has to be me."

I couldn't allow them to hurt my son but knew they would after his break out, yet before I could speak, the judge said,"The child is right."

The whole court went out of whack till she demanded order.

She then continued,"We have been cruel to enlightened humans all over the planet, lynching them, fringing on their rights and denying them justice, we have used this man's family like tools, especially his tender children yet have done nothing but insult them and give them more work, but that is enough, your crimes still stand Mr Oppong,but your sentence has been reduced for your case to a three month house arrest and two year suspension from the duties of a Monster Hunter, that is all."

She then banged the mallet and I ran to hug Apollo and he hugged me back tightly, I still couldn't stop apologizing to him for how I had treated him and he made it clear that he never bore any hard feelings.

Lilith also came to join the embrace and I felt so glad to have both of my children back again.

I also decided to patch things up with Anneliese during my free time and she gave me signs she was going to play hard to get, I liked a good challenge...

"Curtis, meet me after class."Alexa said.

Curtis seemed not to have heard her so she shouted louder. He glared at her before saying,"Don't shout too much, I can smell your breath from here and it's not good."

Alexa frowned at him but decided to keep her cool.

Curtis was a prodigy teleporter a year older than Alexa.

He had long, black and straight hair which went all the way to the center of his back which he usually had in a half ponytail.

He had a Chinese tattoo on his right forearm which Alexa knew was a woman's name. There was another on his neck of the Ying and Yang.

He was Asian and looked gorgeous.

He had eyes which were the lightest shade of silver, with dark black lines radiating from the centre outward, making a beautiful gray colour.

He also had thin pink lips with the sharpest jawline any guy in the camp could wish to have.

He was also always in black or dark coloured clothes for some reason.

He was one of the hottest guys in the camp, paired only with Trevor, Apollo and another guy called Clayton and was beloved by the girls who weren't attracted to the other three due to his mysterious, bad boy quirks.

I wasn't included in this list not because I had lost my good looks but because I was too old for half the students, married, and wasn't a teacher anymore, but the principal.

Despite all his characteristics, he was also arrogant which made Alexa dislike him.

He was also terrible in all theory classes as he was often asleep in Alexa's classes and even when he was not, he was pranking her and passing obnoxious comments.

One time Alexa was in the library and there was a book above her head which she couldn't reach, then Curtis somehow managed to appear behind her.

She thought he was going to help her as he picked it up, then it vanished from his hand and appeared three rows higher.

He then smirked and left as she frowned at him.

She was about to look for a ladder when she got a call on her phone, it was about our mom.

"I'm here! What is it?!"Alexa yelled urgently.

I motioned to our mom and she widened her eyes.

My mom put her hair over her shoulder and asked,"Is this normal?"
