A TRIP TO SOMEWHERE

"Still none?"Asked the man.

"Still no one has turned up."The cop said.

"Thank you sir."The man then said.

He walked away and looked at the beautiful baby boy in his hands with the most beautiful blue eyes he'd ever seen.

He sighed then asked,"Why are people like this? I guess I'm going to have to keep you, if Stacy doesn't drown you first."

The baby laughed and tickled his nose then he smiled and rubbed his nose on the boy's, he then said,"Come to think of it, I think it's time you got a name, George?"

Micky laughed heartily and that made his heart melt, he then said,"George it is."

He walked away.

The woman was anxiously waiting to take the baby from the nursing mother.

When the boy was asleep, she grabbed him from the young woman who also seemed to have an interest in the handsome chap.

The woman rocked the sleeping baby gently then asked,"Who could get rid of a baby as cute as you?"

The nursing mother smiled then said,"I don't think his parents were in their right minds, Miss, do you think I may be able to hold him one more time?"

The Mistress hesitated and wondered why she'd make such a demand, but eventually agreed.

That night the midwife left and the guards allowed her.

She got past the gate and turned to her back and checked down in the passengers foot rest to see if the bag was there.

She stopped the car as she just needed to look at the baby one more time.

She took him out and cried simply holding him, she had worked with several other babies, but none as beautiful as this one.

She looked left and right, she knew she had to hide, so ran into the bushes, leaving her car on the curb.

That morning, there was a blood curdling scream from the Mistress's room...

The muscular and heavily built man was walking with the baby in his hands when he dropped her.

He was frightened till he saw her eyes glow white, then she floated back into his grip.

Phenomena like that had always been happening around her but he never thought she was the cause, she was enlightened and he felt so proud of her.

Everyone around him had noticed the beautiful baby girl he always carried around who seemed to always make him win, to the extent that whenever he took a knockout hit, the impact and action was reversed, but not his memories, so he was able to turn the tables.

She was a great omen in his life, though she got sick every time something like that happened, he loved her to bits.

Alexa sat with Catherine in her arms, looking out the window into nothingness.

A hand just touched her shoulder then she took a deep breath as Curtis said in an unusually warm voice,"Don't worry, we'll find them, all of them."

She turned to him with a smile, then kissed him...

Lilith hugged me tightly and Apollo did the same with Anneliese.

Apollo begged us not to leave but Anneliese said,"Aww sweetie, we'll just be gone for the weekend."

She kissed his forehead as Alexa also hugged me.

I ruffled her hair then said,"Stay safe, honey cakes."

I looked at Curtis then said,"Take care of my sister, little bro."

He smirked then said,"I will, I really will."

I grinned at him then got into the car then started driving out of the mansion grounds.

A few minutes into the drive, we were caught by the heavy traffic of the Kumasi Highways.

I hit the steering wheel in frustration and yelled,"Aww come on! The traffic light was green! You just intentionally let that driver get past you! I know you're talking to that your f..."

I felt a light tap on my shoulder then calmed down and looked at Anneliese who knew exactly how to appease me.

I looked at her then smiled and gently brushed some hair from her face and was about to kiss her forehead but a car horn from behind interrupted us.

I yelled an apology and was about to drive when the person behind me yelled my name, soon, the entire highway was flooded with the sound of honks and people begging for me to show up at their kids' graduation day ceremonies.

I smiled at Anneliese who was laughing already then continued driving.

We sat on a hillside, watching the sunset on the picturesque view of the Gambaga Scarps in the Northeast Region, Anneliese pointed to a shooting star then I looked at her and brought my hand closer, and there was the very necklace she had wished for.

She gasped then asked,"Did you steal it?"

"Don't worry, I left the money on the counter with a note, and interest."I said.

She smiled at me then kissed me on the lips.

I barged into the bedroom of my hotel room only in my underwear then yelled,"Okay, I just ate four bars of chocolate and am ready for action!"

I walked closer to the bed then was pushed from behind.

I turned over to see Anneliese and was stunned by her beauty as she climbed over me and her hair poured smoothly over my face.

She then asked,"Is there any job for me?"

I smirked as she ate a chocolate dipped strawberry then I pulled her closer...

Lilith took a step, barefoot on the mossy floor then shivered slightly, then she yelled for joy and threw her worries to the wind as she ran on the soft carpet of Bryophytes.

Apollo started rolling down the moss covered stairs and Lilith did a cartwheel roundoff into a back handspring and a dive roll, on the soft green carpet below.

Apollo jumped onto a tiled floor then the mosses instantaneously spread to cover the area he landed on and he continued running around and spreading the love.

My mom said,"Apollo, Lilith, don't forget to remove the mosses when you're done."

"Yes grandma!"They both yelled simultaneously.

My mom, after so many years, was still not used to being called by that term, it made her feel, older than her years.

Immediately, she smelled the scent of rain and took a deep breath as Indigo gently held her waist and whispered in her ear,"You're not old at all, not to me, you're still the most beautiful and youthful woman alive."

She smiled at him then said,"Thank you, Indi... husband."

"Anytime, wife."He said.
