The monster should be around ahead of the valley where it reported attack people passing by. They could’ve left it alone, but the river flowing there was essential part of agricultural system for the citizens. Abandoning such precious resources would be a waste.
The locals made a not-so-thorough effort of putting yellow tape and poster warning signs around the vicinity. Alastor could hardly read the entire passage. To not waste his time, he decided to go on with his quest.
The forest was not in any significant impressive. However, there were alarming claw marks left from the beast on his quest, and it left a lot of trails. Fear froze him for a brief moment. He had already guess the monster was already an adult by the time it attack the locales. This monster shouldn’t be taken lightly. He moved forward.
