Helping Each Other

Shouza POV

*Ding!*

The bell rung, so it must be her.

The apartment has this function at the entrance lobby that allows you to call them from the lobby to their apartment.

You also needed to list your name at the lobby as a visitor, or else.

I then rushed at the there to grab her stuff, I don't know why I'm eager to help her, either I'm too kind or I'm in a rush to watch some of the series I wanted to watch.

I saw Touko with her luggage waiting at the lobby seats.

"Touko, let's go. " I then took her luggage and led the way.

Her luggage is pretty light, maybe she's not that rich, but still, she looks pretty normal, for a quiet girl, she doesn't look like those kids who watches anime a lot, unlike me I watch a lot of Flix at my room, maybe she's just a smart student or something like that.

We then reached my apartment, I put her luggage in her room that Nami prepared beforehand.

I then helped her put all her things on the closet, her clothes are normal too, by normal I mean there's no girls clothes, they are all gender clothes, don't tell me she's lesb.. Never mind, she isn't, after seeing her panties.

"There you go, as I already told you, call me or Nami when her shift is on, approach us if you need something. "

"By the way, I want to know your schedule, so that I could change my schedule to match yours, since we're in the same school, we can go together so that it will be easier for the both of us. " I told her.

"Umm, I.. Have.. Work.. In the.. Morning.. Before class. " what?

"You have a part time job? Isn't that too tedious, working while still in school? " I asked.

She's working even though she's a student, why does she work? Does she want to be independent or they are poor?

"I.. Mom is.. In coma.. While bro.. Can't go to... Work.. Due to his.. Body. " she explained.

"Ah? "

Does that mean I need to help her at her work, too?

Dad!! Where are you when I needed you the most!!?

"Don't worry! It's not too much... Labor at.. My work.. " she explained.

"So you can go to work without your right arm? " I asked, assuring whether or not I should continue this.

"It's.. only 4 hours.. Of work.. So don't.. Worry about it! " I still can't be used to her stuttering a lot, I have to listen and piece together the words she says.

"Hmm, 4 hours, then can we ask Nami to work the instead? But that means I will have to work a lot here, hmm? "

How should I do this?

"I have an.. Idea.. " Touko said.

"How about.. You and I.. Work at my.. Part-time.. And Ms. Nami's shift.. Is only.. Everytime I.. Ask for help.. And.. Work here.. " she suggested, still stuttering, but she could speak easily.

Maybe her idea isn't a bad idea, I thought that time, and will regret later on.

"Yeah, let's go with that! " I said.

She's pretty smart at choirs, I hope I don't rely on her, instead of her relying on me.

After helping her put her things at the guest room, I brought her a drink.

"What do you want, coffee? Tea? Or Cocoa? " I asked.

"Any is.. Fine..! " she shouted as I am at the kitchen.

I then brought her a Tea since that's easy to make, a Green Tea to be precise.

"Thanks. " she said as I gave her the cup of tea.

"By the way, what class are you in at the school? " I asked.

"Class.. 1 - C.. " she said.

Wait, what?

"We're classmates! That's awesome! Can you please help me tell the other students that my dad is Shouta Theodore? " I asked her, desperately, as I grabbed her shoulders, begging her

"Wait! I.. Um!! My arm.. " she said, feeling hurt.

Sh*t!

"Sorry! I forgot, please ignore that!! " I said and left her room.

What is wrong with me? How did I became so desperate?

Touko Journal

My plan is a perfection, I convinced Shouza Theodore, a glamorous beauty, to work at the Comic Cafe, and gain more customers.

Also, since I can't do anything without my right hand at work, all I can do is return books, since I can't do counter as I always do so.

But what Shouza asked me earlier, did she get into a fight about telling everyone at school that her father is her father? That she needs to prove that Shouta Theodore is her father?

I'll do what I can, but.. Argh!!!

Fine! All for the cause of her working for the Comic Cafe!!

The next day, Monday, have arrived.

I woke up and go to the bathroom, last night, I familiarize myself at Shouza's apartment, and even reported what happened to brother, all the events that happened and the reasons, I also sent him money for this week's expenses.

My shift today is afterschool, and I need to wear my uniform so that more customers Flood the store.

I then remembered, I can't go to bath easily, without help.

I then heard the door of the bathroom open.

"Figures, you can't go to bath, I'll help you, do you shower or use the bath tub? " Shouza asked.

"Shower.. Please. " I humbly asked.

"I have a plastic here for your arm to not get wet, come here I'll wrap this at your arm. " she said.

And then she got close and wrap the plastic around my right arm, slowly but gently, and done.

Even though she just woke up, she smell nice, wait! Why did I thought of that?!

"I'll turn on the shower, you undress now, come here. " she said.

Is she a mother!? Wait, I'm not ready for this!!

"Wait.. I.. " I didn't realize it, she undressed me so quickly.

How did that happen so fast?

"Go to bath now, I need to use it as well, call me if you're done. " she said and left the bath.

"Ahhh!! " I sighed so hard.

I almost lost my chastity there.

Anyways, she did this for me, might as well, accept it.

I then entered the shower, I can relatively bath myself even with my left arm.

I then finished in 15 minutes.

"Shouza!! " I shouted after leaving the shower, since she said to call her after in done, maybe she have a bath schedule.

She then entered right before I even wear my uniform, even if I'm having a hard time writing them, which made me blush so hard.

"Let me help you. " she said.

She's helping a lot, I hope this isn't a bribing of something she needs later.

"Thank you. " I said.

I didn't stutter! Even two words back then makes me stutter, this is progress.

"Don't mention it, it also helps me take the bath faster as well. " she said.

Oh that's why.

A moment later, we left the apartment.

"Are you gonna walk to school? " Shouza asked.

"Yes.. I don't.. have.. a bike. " I answered.

"Then hop in, I'll take us there. " she offered.

Thank heavens for some reason her bike was fixed after the accident.

I then hopped in right side so that I could grab hold to her with my left arm.

"Let's go. " she said.

She sounds so sad, yet kinda disappointed?

I don't know what's in her mind, but she's having trouble with this parent-teacher's meeting, on whether or not her father will come.

Even my brother can't come as he is taking care of mother.

We then passed by the street we first accidentally met, this is a nightmare nostalgia if I ever see one.

We then arrived at school.

With all the students with their parents for the meeting.

"Hey Theodore! Where's your father, Oni, huh? " the girl said.

Oni? Shouza's father? No way? No way!

Oni is the one who gave me scholarship here at Dore High School! It's Shouza's father?

I couldn't speak about it but due to shock, I'm surprised that even I didn't notice.

If he is her father, and he is Oni, I have his number with me, after I graduated middle school, the Dore High School director gave me his number after informing me of the scholarship, if I need to ask something of him.

"Huh, can't talk? Who is this girl behind you anyways? " she asked.

"Let's go. " Shouza said.

"She's a fake Theodore, what a poser. " the girl mocked Shouza.

I can't stand this! I will help her, it is also for the sake of her working for Comic Cafe!

"I have to go to the bathroom! " I shouted and left Shouza to go to the bathroom.

That might be one of the time I spoke and not stutter, but I didn't notice it.

I didn't really go to the bathroom, but what I did is called Oni, Shouza's father!

*brrt* *brrt*

"Hello, this is Oni. " he answered!

"Hello, Umm.. Sir Shouta Theodore!? " I asked.

"It is, wait I know this voice. "

"Umm, there's an emergency at the school!! Shouza's in a predicament! " I shouted.

I sound desperate just helping her, I want to earn their trust, if I can do this for her, then I can have her work for the Cafe, and also be friends with her.

Shouza DIARY

Touko went to the restroom, I guess she's as embarrassed in school as well.

I then walk to the room on my own.

The students have their parents with them, mother or father.

I then saw Touko entered the room.

Thank god she's here, she doesn't have her parents too, just like me.

"Shouza. " she said after she found where I seat.

And her seat is behind me, that's a relief as well.

"Now let's start the parent-teacher's meeting. " the adviser said.

I heard a loud stomping, where's that coming from?

"WAIT! " I then heard a familiar voice shouting outside the room.

And it's dad?!

"It's Oni! "

"Who is his kid? "

"Woah, he's big! "

I was surprised to see him, and also I'm so happy!

"Is Shouza here? Is my sweetie pie okay? " he asked.

"Yes, Sir, she's there.

I raised my hand to tell him I'm here.

"Sir! I told you that you can't just run off like that! " I also heard Alex shouting behind him.

He looks exhausted.

Dad then came close to me.

"I heard from Touko that something happened to you, kid! I thought you got hurt! " he said.

Touko? She did this?

"You help me.. I help you too. " she said as I looked at her, with her peace sign on her left hand.

"Thank you. " I said, glad that she did call him for me.

"So this is all a false alarm, then we should leave then, Sir. " Alex said.

"No, Since we're here, as Touko wanted, we'll attend my darling's PTM. " he said.

"Well, then, I'll proxy as Touko's Guardian then. " Alex said.

"Thank you.. Sir Alex. " Touko said.

"Glad you're here, dad. " I said.

"I'm sorry that I didn't notice that me not coming to the PTM is hurting you, sweetie. " he said

Turns out, Touko Arkada, cares much of my feelings as I thought.

I thought she's just a smart student, who have part-time job.

I was so happy to have father here at this time, I almost lost all hope.
