Hidden Prodigy

They all enter the house after that short sequence of events.

'Hit it big' was the only thing going through the two girls mind.

Ryder was still snickering to himself.

'Now you feel how I felt after finding all that out.'

Kyo glances over at the 3 before making his way to the kitchen.

He only had breakfast and coffee, so he was still hungry.

He opens the fridge and grabs 4 eggs and 1 bunch of spinach.

There was already a pan on the stove top so he added some butter and put it on low heat.

"Kyo, what are you making?"

Ryder sits down at the table and asks.

Kyo starts chopping up the spinach and battering the eggs before answering

"A omelet, why want some?"

Ryder looks at Kyo and instantly denies.

"Everyone knows that you weren't meant to be in the kitchen. Including Mom."

Kyo chuckles before adding the eggs and spinach into the pan.

The pan sizzles quietly and he turns up the heat to medium.

He stirs the eggs to make them fluffy.

But when he tries to fold it, everything breaks.

"It's whatever, all going down the same."

He grabs a plate from the cabinet and placed the 'omelet' onto the plate.

He grabs ketchup from the fridge and drizzles it on the eggs and sits down next to Ryder.

Emma and Olivia start making their way to the table woken from their daze.

Olivia was the first one to speak, "How'd yo-"

Before she could finish the sentence Ryder interrupted.

"Don't even bother, he's not gonna say anything."

"I doubt it's anything illegal either."

Ryder says while looking at Kyo with annoyance.

"Ever heard of the saying, curiosity killed the cat?"

"I'm doing this for you guys." Kyo says with a smile.

'You guys my ass' the 3 think in unison.

When the tension draws they start making small talk while Kyo finishes his omelet, which by the way wasn't very tasty as Ryder said.

Kyo finishes the omelet and goes to the sink to wash his plate.

While Kyo was washing the plate, Ryder decides to tell the duo about the events that happened at school and mall.

When Kyo was about to put the plate away after drying it he hears Olivia shout.

"5.5 MILLION ON A WATCH?!?"

"WITH NO INSTALLMENTS!?!"

Olivia and Emma shout consecutively.

'Just who are you Kyo, a hidden prodigy?'

Olivia thought to herself.

Kyo ignores the 2 and puts his plate away before heading upstairs.

When he gets in his room he locks the door behind him.

'Let's check out the 'Lucky Draws' now that I'm away from everyone.

'Hmm, it's not bad I guess.'

'I don't lose anything anyways, might as well give it a try.'

Kyo presses the 'draw' button on the transparent screen, and in less than 5 seconds a line of words appear.

This wasn't something he expected but nonetheless he accepted it gratefully.

"I can finally make myself something to eat without screwing things up."

Though he wanted to he chose not to use the remaining draws and save it for later.

He goes in the bathroom and takes a hot shower before getting dressed.

He puts on a fitting black tee, a black blazer with a chain hanging from the chest pocket with a black pair of oxfords before putting on his new watch.

'It's only 12:30?'

'Why don't I check out the company then?'

Kyo thought.

He decides to leave the house and go to 'Pick Me Up' Headquarters.

Before Kyo could leave Emma asks, "Where you going all dressed up Kyo?"

"Meeting up with a friend."

"Gonna be home a little later so don't wait up for me."

That's all they heard as the door shut.

'He looks different, more handsome than usual.' Emma thought.

When Kyo got in the car he went to put in the address on his phone.

It was about 40-50 minutes away so Kyo started the car and made haste.

When Kyo got on the highway his speed kept increasing.

From 55 to 160mph, but he chose to stop increasing speed as he wasn't in a hurry to actually speed all the way there.

The original 50 minutes took him only less then 20 minutes before he arrived at the headquarters.

He parks the car to the side for a moment to call Lucas.

Almost immediately Lucas picked up the phone.

"Hello Mr. Winter, is there something I can help you with today?"

Lucas was confused by the sudden call but kept a respectful tone.

"I arrived outside to se-"

Before Kyo could finish, the phone hung.

He was confused, was he not his boss?

When Kyo tried to call him back he heard someone outside call him.

"Mr. Winter, is that you in this car?"

Kyo rolled the window down to see a middle aged man standing outside with a face full of awe.

"Yes, that would be, I wondered why you hung up but now things are more clear."

Kyo responds while getting out the car.

"Ah yes, I'm sorry for the sudden hang up."

"But dare I ask, how old are you Mr. Winter?"

Lucas asked, he thought Kyo looked young but exceptionally handsome.

Kyo looked over at Lucas, "I'm in my teenage years."

"Is their a chauffeur?"

"I wouldn't want to park on the side of the road."

Kyo looks helplessly at his car.

"Of course, Booker!"

Rushing over comes a young man with a medium stature and black hair.

Lucas continues, "This is the new Chairman, would you park his car in the Chairman reserved lot?"

He asks while Kyo handed him the car keys.

"Greetings Chairman, your car in wonderful hands."

Booker says while receiving the keys.

Kyo smiled and said thank you before Lucas lead him inside.

Before they make it in all the way Kyo turns to Lucas before saying.

"Just treat me as a bodyguard for the 'Chairman', I would like to see things from a casual point of view."

Lucas was contemplating for a few seconds before agreeing.

"Okay Mr. Winter I hope you will be satisfied with the workspace."

Lucas leads Kyo up the elevator before stopping at a floor.

"I will be introducing you to everyone as Mr. Winter's bodyguard?"

Kyo nods his head.

The doors to the elevator open and Lucas grabs everyone attention.

Everyone gathers around before Lucas continues.

"I will be introducing a new member of the company!"

"This is Kyo he will be Mr. Winter's bodyguard for the time being!"

"Treat him with as much respect as you show me!"

Some people were undisturbed while some were annoyed but they were all stunned by his beauty.

Kyo steps and smiles before saying.

"I will be in your care."

Some girls were blushing while some guys were written with envy but they all treated him with respect as Lucas said.

"Welcome!"
