Bound To The Vampire Prince

The human race was at war with the vampires but it all came to an end when an agreement was made. A truce that had been in existence for centuries– a woman would be offered to the current vampire prince to be his wife or mistress, trapped forever as his prisoner. It sounded drastic but thousands of women would kill for that spot but Eliza was the unlucky one Some said she was lucky, while others said it was through power and wealth that she managed to catch the interest of the cursed prince. Eliza lost all her privileges the moment she was proclaimed his bride but what happens when the vampires demand for their prince to have a child with Eliza? Or he chooses another human female that would do the job. " Don't worry, I respect your decision, I understand if you want to take in another wife." She whispered with a handful of tears ready to spill out from her reddened eyes " No wife, you are the only woman in my life!" Dav exclaimed. Will that promise hold for a long time, when Eliza refused to do her duty as the Prince's wife?

I'm Sorry

I laid on the bed as tears filled my eyes. Dav had not made any effort to convince me to open the door. Doesn't he know that when a lady asks a male for space, she actually meant that she wants him close to her?

He probably must have gotten tired of begging and was having a good time with his mistress.

Obsession was eating me and my body, irking me.

No! Dav was supposed to be with me and not her. I didn't care about their past relationship, I was now the wife, and she was the mistress.

With that thought, I immediately got off the bed and walked to the door but I was startled by the presence I saw when I walked out of the room.

There, I saw Dav seated at the foot of the door.

" Dav!" I whispered but he heard me and immediately stood up.

Wordless, he took me into his embrace and sniffed my scent…. harshly.

" Wife, I won't let you go until we settle our differences. Please don't push me away."

I was startled by his actions and choice of words. There was no way I would push him away when he had blessed me with his masculine warmth and melted my heart with those words but there was no way I would let him know that his actions had gotten to my heart.

I remained mute and as expected, he panicked a little bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he had rehearsed his actions and words.

Dav slowly disengaged the hug and walked slowly into the room while he held onto my hands.

" I'm sorry, she kissed me first but before I could push her away, you saw us."

I'd expected those to be his first words but that was not what I saw. He responded to her kiss, it was when I called out his name that he pushed her away or was it just my imagination?

Still, I remained mute.

" I'm sorry that I yelled at you, I didn't know what overtook me but I'm sorry."

Good lord, there was one thing I had realized about Dav, it was not so hard for him to say the words ' I'm sorry ' and it was surely working on me.

I didn't know how he did it or when he did it but I have fallen for this vamp but did he feel the same way for me? The last thing I wouldn't want to do was to mistake kindness for love.

" I'm tired of your apology Dav, I know that you still have feelings for her and I respect that. You are free to be a relationship with her, after all, I am just another human female on the list."

" No, you are the only female in my life and I can't let you share me with another female. How about we do as Ray said, why don't we move to the castle, my father will warmly welcome you."

As expected, my tension rose. Like I said earlier, the vampire castle was like a ticking time bomb for humans and I knew that being Dav's wife wasn't enough to protect me from them.

Everything about that place was the opposite of human territory and what made Dav think that the mistress would leave him alone if we moved there?

" And your mist–"

" No, she is not my mistress, her name is Beatrice." He interrupted.

" And Beatrice?"

" If she still wished to stay here, I would allow that but I would never let her come close to the castle. So what do you say about that?"

That was all I wanted to hear. I simply nodded my head in approval for Dav to draw me into his embrace and I also returned the hug.

" I want you to know this, I will never do anything that would intentionally hurt you." He said as he let go of me but the situation got really awkward when I noticed his intense gaze on my lips.

I wasn't a fool to not know what he wanted at that moment but there was no way it would be possible.

Dav traveled his gaze to my eyes and then, back to my lips. Those were his way of telling me that he wanted to have a taste of me but I immediately turned my face elsewhere.

Yes, my husband has shown nothing less than gentleness to me but I knew that he would be a beast when it came to deriving pleasure from females.

" You must be hungry, right? I heard humans have a low resistance to hunger." With those words, Dav comported himself.

I said nothing but nod my head in agreement.

He got off the bed and stressed his hands which I warmly received.

" Then, come wife and let me fill up that little monster."

With those words, he led me out of the room to the dining room but this time, there was no third party to disrupt our precious moments. There, I could only see a large portion of rice grains and soup filled with all sorts of meat.

Without a word, he joyfully led me to sit before sitting beside me but before I could place my hands on the utensils, Dav quickly took them.

" I shall do my wife a favour by taking it upon myself to feed her." He said with a bright smile on his face.

Good lord, I now saw the reason why he was able to capture my heart so quickly. Not only did he know how to flatter me, but he also got an angelic voice to do it for him.

If that was how arranged marriage was, I wouldn't mind being forced to marry him in my next life.

With the smile still retained on his face, Dav gestured that I opened my mouth, which I did. He took a spoonful of rice grains but before he could shove it into my mouth, he paused and intensely stared at my lips.

Even at that moment, Dav's mind had diverted to something else.

" Hmm, Dav, my mouth is open." My words finally snapped him out of whatever thought he had.

Slowly but surely, he finally shoved the food into my mouth.

" Is it good, I made it by myself?"

Surely, his words startled me. A vampire prepared a human meal and it was that good? No way.

Noticing my surprised gaze, he chose to clear the air.

" I learned how to prepare human foods from the maids, so do you like it? " He asked with the expectation to get a positive answer from me.

Of course, I did, so I simply nodded my head.

That was enough to widen his smile. This time, he dived the spoon into the soup and shoved it into my mouth but not without a few drops of it spilling on the side of my mouth. For some reason, it felt intentional.

" Wait, let me get that cleaned."

When he said those words, I'd thought he had some sort of napkin but what he did next startled the hell out of me.

Knowing that I would refute, Dav swiftly brought his face closer to mine and licked the side of my lips.

" Now, it's cleaned." He blurted out with a mischievous smirk on his face.
