CHAPTER THIRTY ONE
It’s the day I’ve been waiting for my whole life. The day I always knew would be special, but never quite as amazing as this.
I finish my braiding my hair and place the veil with the gold circlet on my head. I look in the mirror and see a vision of my dreams coming true in front of me.
My cream-colored dress hits every curve perfectly. The lace gives it that extra, added touch. With diamonds to adorn the bodice. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted.
He’s everything I’ve wanted. I know that the groom isn’t supposed to see the bride until I walk down the aisle, but I want to see him so badly. I need to be near him. Being apart like this is a special kind of torture.
“I love you,” I say, looking at a picture of Kole. “I will always love. My heart is forever yours.”
