Chapter Six

Having Fun?

*knock knock knock

Nabalik lang ako sa wisyo ng may kumatok sa pinto. "It's open!," I shouted, letting in whoever it is.

"Aren't you going with me for dinner?... Treat ko di ba," napatunghay ako at nakita si Nathea. Tumitig pa ako sa kanya saka umiling.

"Ohh come on! Minsan ko na nga lang gawin ito ayaw mo pa...AC, no fun... Really no fun!," maktol ni Nathea na parang bata while rolling her eyes.

"I have new serial matters to attend to," dahilan ko.

"What do you mean...Another task?" Obviously! Nabuburyo akong tumingin sa kanya.

"Yeah...And this time I'll be going to put a great show to someone who's unforgivably messing with me," ngumisi na ako and many awful ideas forming in my head.

"So that's what you and that old man talked about?," she asked but again its the answer.

"I'll be a bodyguard! For god sake, I'll be guarding my enemy!? No way! But in the name of money I'll resist many difficulties just to get it," hasik ko at ikinuyom ang kamao at humahanap ng masusuntok until I saw the big blue green teddy on my bed at iyon ang pinagdiskitahan.

Narinig ko ang paghagikhik at tawa ni Nathea. "Oh well, you really hate that guy. But he's every girls dream, you know...," nakatingin at nakangiti siya ng nakakaloko sa akin parang sinasabi na 'may gusto ka din sa kanya no?' Napatingin tuloy ako ng masama sa kanya.

"But not me," malamig at walang ekspresyong sabi. I clench my hand tighter.

"Boss! Your handss!... Let me do dressing that wounds," after that she almost massacre my room for finding the medical kit.

"How did you injured yourself!? Even you are physically more stronger than us, you're still a girl you know!?," tila ina siyang nag-aayos ng sugat ng anak mula sa gulo at nangangaral sa napakatigas nitong ulo.

"I pricked by a frame glass," I stated like its nothing serious.

"What!? When?," taka niya. "Its nothing serious though," I looked away.

"Anong sabi mong hindi seryoso!? Oo at maliit na sugat lang yun kanina pero hindi mo agad nalunasan tamo ngayon nagdugo at malaki na ang buka! A girl- no a woman should take care of herself! Tsk! You're so careless!"

"Its just a wound and I'll heal no matter what so its just the same," walang pake kong saad.

"Ayan! See? You're really careless! Let me tell you...There are wounds that never heals!," natamaan ako sa sinabi niya. Pero ngumisi ako na parang hindi nasasaktan.

"Owss really, like what?," nanghahamon kong saad.

"Sugat na dala ng relasyon," mapait niyang saad. Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya. Wow just wow! This woman! May hindi siya sinasabi sa akin. How saddening.

"Relatio-wait a minute...Tsk! Why would we talk the topic about relationships?! You know it's the topic that I hate the most," nainis bigla ako at agad na tumayo.

"Wait it's still not finish!," habol niya sa akin. "You don't need to dress it up for me ate," mainis nga siya.

"Hoy! Sabi kong huwag mo akong tatawaging ate! Hindi pa ako matanda! Teka limang taon lang pagitan natin! Bumalik ka ditooo," our shouts and footsteps could be heard all the place. The maids and butlers are happily watching us in one side.

"Punta ka dito!"

"Nah! Just catch me if you can!"

"I...I'm exhausted! Please don't r-run anymore!"

"What, exhausted? That easily?," huminto ako at nakitang pawis na pawis si Nathea.

"Bring a towel and prepare a bath," I ordered. Lumapit ako at kinurot ang pisngi niya.

"Ous! Ouch! Sststop sinshing ie! Urgh! Tsake ofsh ur haend! (Ouch! Ouch! Stop pinching me! Ugh! Take off your hand!)," halos magmakaawa na siya kaya tumigil na ako sa pagkurot.

"It hurts right?," casual na tanong ko. "Of course it does, you war freak!," naiiyak niyang sigaw habang nakahawak sa namumula niyang kaliwang pisngi. Kanins pa ako napatakip ng tenga. Has she ever swallowed a megaphone?

"Ohh I really wish you were dead! I hope god will take you now," biro ko habang may poker face.

"What!?... She's joking right? Of course she is" hindi makapaniwalang saad niya, kausap pa ang sarili para talagang timang. Tsh! I hope you guys see her funny face!

"You're joking it?," may tumulo ng isang butil sa kanyang mata. Wow! Am I that cruel to make her cry? Or she's just started to act pretense again?

Parang hindi mo naman kilala... Minsan lang iyan nag-iinarte! I thought she changed but she's still doesn't change, still a crybaby...?

"Yeah I mean it," seryoso kong saad, just to make fun of her.

Pagkarinig nun ay agad na siyang pumunta sa drawer ko and take out a pocket knife.

Anak ng...Makakapagmura tuloy ako. Itapat ba naman niya sa pulsuhan ang kutsilyo at umaktong hihiwain ang pulso niya.
